We have stayed here several times now. Like the park. Stay in budget cabins which I think are great and good value. $105 one night or 2 or more nights then $95. Spacious and nice long verandah length of the cabin. Just walk to Pub for dinner and drinks. Very handy. Close to canb city queenbeyan and surrounding suburbs. Mm.

An older van park with some rather loud permanent residents. That being said this is a good spot for Canberra stays. The drive through powered private bathroom sites are $45 per night, 50% cheaper than anything in Canberra! There is a ok kind of pub with an excellent bistro cook up the front. Staff are friendly and helpful. Being 5mins to center of Canberra but still rural enough to see roos.

Eagle Hawk pub. A very popular stopover for refreshments. With the caravan park directly behind the hotel, you can't go wrong.

Very disappointed on arrival it 30 minutes and 3 phone calls to actually book in. When we got to the cabin and entered floors had not been vacumed, carpet in bedroom filthy and stained. The bed was so low and mattress was old and lumpy you could feel the springs. The curtains were so rotted and dirty, and no screens in windows. Everything about the place was dirty and depressing. If we hadn't pre booked I would have left immediately, but would have lost our money. Recomend to avoid this place.

Nice quiet park good rates. Shame pool was empty.

Unfortunately very dirty but they are very good people that lived there. Hope you love rabbits.

Not very happy with the cabins in the brumby lodge, no cleaning. We found spiders and lizards and the bedsheets were gruesome.

1st world version of manus island. It was clean, just a little run down.

Won't be staying there again. The cabiin was dirty with cigg bud and bottle tops under lounge cushion.

Quite disgusting — filthy bathroom & toilet. Dirty fridge and kitchen. Heating took hours to take the chill off. Not enough blankets. 2 beds not made even though we advised 3 beds were needed. Overpriced. Paid $150 for 3 people — worth about $50 at the most. Give it a big miss. Zero star. Don;t go there…. Misleading website.

The lodge that my school stayed in was ok. The first night we stayed at, there were 3 electricity cuts. Reply was slow but at least it was fixed so next few nights were warm. Hair on the blankets, floor and pillows, but we tried to ignore this. Those are the cons that I found, but otherwise the food was delicious for non-dietary needs (I love the butter chicken). The place is only 17 minutes away from Canberra, which is also an ideal location to travel around and such.

Google won't let me give less than 1 star, but I would if I could. Dirty rooms (we had 3 cabins) no soap in any of them, two still had used soap in the shower, all bins were full when we arrived. No tea no coffee no milk in two of the rooms, bed room light didn't work. The staff were angry rude and at one point threatened violence. I travel for a lot of the year and this is the worst place I've ever stayed.

We have just stayed at this caravan park. We arrived Easter Monday to discover that the cabin was not very clean floors not swept or washed, mould in bathroom, skirting board half off. Tea cady area not replenished. Oven putrid. One of the lower kitchen doors did not shut. Bunk beds when you laid on them the mattress sank down to the slates on the bed… kitchen table wonky. No microwave equipment. Man at counter arrogant. Outside very dirty and not manged. Washing machines dirty and the door to the laundry was proped up with a rock. We had arrived at 1-30pm and at 3 pm unit still had not been cleaned. For this we paid over $1000-00 We then requested to moved and they charged us a extra $120-00 for a upgrade. At least it was a bit better. There is no love at this caravan park We stayed their 10 years ago and it was thriving. Now it is desolate and void of staff.

Nice place to stay. Villas are quite spacious. Comfy beds. No restaurant on site however a servo with a cafe/restaurant next door not far walking distance.

MANAGER NOEL LANGDON RUDEST PERSON IN HOSPITALITY This was the second time we stayed at Capital Country Holiday Park during the Kanga Cup Tournament time. Last year we received fantastic service while the manager was different. This year soon as we checked in the manager named by Noel Langdon was very abusive towards our kids and also to our whole group. I do not know how this person (don’t even know if he is human) has ended up in a managing role. We checked in on Saturday the 2nd of July and paid a week full. On the Tuesday night we asked for permission to have a team BBQ and surprisingly he must have been on a good day he gave us permission. The next morning I received a phone call from a VERY RUDE, UNPROFFESIONAL, ABUSIVE Manager Noel Langdon using every swear word he knows in English stating that we have left the BBQ area in a mess and he has charged one of the parents $200 direct from their credit card. Once we got back to the Holiday Park and tried to question him why he would do such a thing his swear words continued to myself and also to the lady that he charged $200. After telling him he can’t charge us and we want our money back MR Manager rings the NSW police to get us evicted and surprisingly continued his swear words in front of the police officer towards a women.
