Amazing atmosphere, cool owner and good vibes. Fun ping pong table and it is located in a real nice place in Mendoza. Simple easy breakfast. Recommend their wine tours. This is the place to be.

Perfect hotel for backpackers! Great people, great service! And when France won the World cup, they offered us a bottle of wine to celebreate. That makes Gorilla Mendoza world champion of hostels to me. Merci!

Hermoso hostel, muy bien atendido! Belén tiene mucha predisposición a que la pases genial y conoce mucho para recomendarte de que hacer en Mendoza, las habitaciones están perfectas y hay un Hardin con mucho verde y una piscina! Hay varios espacios comunes donde podes interactuar y conocer a los demás turistas. Me encanto mí estadía. Lo súper recomiendo.

Nice place, really young ambiance. Everybody nice and helpful, everything always doing with smile. Clean and neat to the main Plaza. Good address.

Allergy WARNING! 3 Cats live in the house. Friendly staff/good location. But giving this place 3 stars only because no where on their hostel world profile does it say they have 3 cats living in the house. This is something that should be disclosed for people with sensitive allergies. I suffered for 3 nights there because of those little critters. And they are sneaky. The do get into all the rooms and jump up on beds.

Terrible service, cancelled a reservation, already paid almost a month ago, and without giving any reason. A disaster.

The best hostel in Mendoza, very good everything from the people who work there to the building and huge patio that has a swimming pool, table tennis and more.

The nicest thing you have is the location, near the Bar Avenue, and the green space with pool. The room for 6 is very uncomfortable, especially the bathroom and the finite mattresses almost the same as the nothingness. The attention depending on the shift was not the best.

Great vibe, nice staff, everyone is friendly and guests bond easily. The pool side is beautiful and the location is perfect close to bars and restaurants.

Gorilla was clearly the best choice that we could have chosen, the location is excellent, the neighborhood is very nice, 2 blocks from avenida aristides (area of bars and restaurants) has a corner market with good prices and even on the same block but in the other corner of the block there is a stall that sells very good vegetables. Not only the position is strategic for everything that surrounds it, but the hostel is very close to the descent of the highway, or if any transport leaves you, direct, fast, and cheap. The volunteers who work at the hostel are all very friendly, everyone is willing to help you and give you good advice on where to go to eat, to dance or to go. Both owners spent in their roles, we note that they are people of work, good wood (advice, assistance, and company). In summary the hostel is very well located, facilities are very complete, the pool, grill, barbecue, kitchen and rooms. 100% recommended. We will come back.

This hostel is really nice, good position in the center, friendly staff, swiming pool, ping pong table, good kitchen, clean ect.

The hostel is good although the rooms could improve their performance, there is an air conditioner above the head of one of the bunks, the mattresses are old, the pool is fine, it lacks maintenance in a sector of the grass behind the pool, the Breakfast is moderate.

Very nice place, they can recommend tours but a little bit dirty in the bathroom.

Pretty amazing place to be, chilling hostel, awesome people, great prices and a perfect location near bars, pubs, restaurants, and buses. Manager speaks English so you won't get lost in Mendoza if you stay here.

Gorilla Hostel was probably one of the best I've ever stayed in. The location is excellent and close to all of the main streets and bars. The hostel itself is beautiful and well-kept with clean facilities and a great outdoor area with a pool. Above all, the staff are phenomenal and super helpful with planning and reserving excursions or whatever one may need. Everyone has good vibes, the hosts and guests alike, and it feels like staying with a nice community of travelers. 10/10 experience was amazing :)

Very good value for money!

Dirty, only one working bathroom for the whole place, lots of bugs (bedbug myth not confirmed), only one outlet for an eight person dorm… Wouldn't recommend!

Excellent service. Staff attentive, friendly, and dynamic. Within the staff speaks at least 3 languages fluent, A very clean and comfortable facilities, excellent location in a nice neighborhood, close to the center, area with bars and parks. Super recommended.

Good watch. Reservation x phone. Good facilities. Only detail lack of plugs in the room to be able to load the equipments.

Excelent! the place it´s very nice!

This place is dirty and infested with bed bugs. We were in one of the back dorms and after 2 days my girlfriend broke out in horrible bites. We asked to be moved to a new room so they shifted us to a private room. However, we were in there 10 minutes and caught 5 bugs just by looking at the bed. Needless to say we left. Worst part is the guy at reception didn't seem surprised or concerned but responded as if he already knew it was a problem!

Good location & staff helpful with booking trips etc. Private room was ok and breakfast very poor. The toilet next door was running the whole time we were there 24/7. Pics on Hostel world were clearly taken few years ago. Pool not heated but hey.

The attention and the atmosphere is very good! the staff is always very attentive to the suggestions. This a few blocks from area bars, so that you can walk without problems. The neighborhood where it is located is pretty quiet. I arrived by car and paying a little extra you can park inside.

Awesome place to stay if you're in Mendoza. Great location, service and cozy beds. Definitely a must!

The care is very good. Between the hostel early and there were no problems. But with regard to the cleaning, the rooms are not cleaned and the bathroom less. At least the upstairs of only women. They stole the charger from the phone and also the charger and portable battery that had stopped charging while we were on an excursion.

The attention by staff is excellent!, a very good atmosphere, facilities in very good condition and the waveform of the people who stay here will make you want to go back! Definitely I will come back to this hostel.

Excellent! Hostel with little more than a year, a candidate to be the best of Mendoza. I recommend it widely. I have only positive things to highlight, So spacious are its different areas, large kitchen, all very clean, beautiful garden with barbecue and swimming pool, table of ping-pong. All rooms with air conditioning and central heating, the staff is multilingual. They have all kinds of excursions to offer according to what one is looking for you. The energy of the place is great, I met people from all over the world. Located 2 blocks from calle Aristides, in the end, I'll be back soon!
