This hotel is called Curio by Hilton. The name suits it beautifully because the façade is small and elegant but inside it's very modern with marble walls yet touches of antiquity in wooden flooring and ornaments. Rooms are spacious and cool and overlooking an inner courtyard. Hotel is located in old quarter with lots to see in old cobbled streets. A must if you like quirky! Staff are wonderful. So obliging!

Very nice atmosphere, private, looks like a hideout. On the other hand the food, without being superlative, is perfect. I would recommend it and come back.

Excellent service and attention, really has very good view, furniture, attention and the price is according to the service. It is highly recommended. The location is privileged, opposite Plaza Dorrego.

Excellent hotel we went to dinner. Few dishes and expensive. But it was worth it. The place is beautiful and the attention great.

Do not forget to visit the restaurant at this San Telmo hotel. Highly recommended! The menu is not very extensive but the dishes are rich, very well presented… The staff were very friendly and attentive. You'll feel very comfortable. It has clean bathrooms and an ideal patio for breakfast/snack or dinner. We were recommended this place and had a great fun!

I found the hotel rather pretentious. The bathrooms have glass walls and doors which means you need to know your room mate very well. Breakfast is served in a soulless echoing soft furnishings free box with uncomfortable seating. The staff were friendly and helpful and you couldn't fault the location however. OK if you like that sort of thing.

This is right near the Dorrego Plaza. You can step outside to see a tango show in the plaza. There is a huge craft fair nearby every Sunday. You can buy a drink and dinner (expensive) and get a table in the plaza. Or you can sit on a bench in the plaza at no cost. San Juan is the closest subway station. The hotel signage is subdued and discreet so you have to look carefully to find it. The hotel itself is quite comfortable and clean. You can get breakfast for about 12 USD. It includes fruit as Argentinian restaurant meals are often lacking fruits and vegetables. The service is good. The noise insulation is not that great, but fortunately this did not turn out to be a problem because the clientele was not boisterous.

A very comfortable place. Excellent attention. The food is super recommended.

Excellent location — a must see for visitors to Buenos Aires. Live Tango performances as well as other music and plenty of places to eat, drink, stay or explore. An excellent contrast to the Hipster style location including much beer & burgers of Palermo/Soho.

We went to swap a BigBox. We received 10 points. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll be back if we can.

I participated in a cocktail, the space is nice, the bar service left a lot to be desired.

Staffs are warm-heart and helpful, and I stay here twice for transit. Even I arrived late around 11:30pm, the staff was bright and said happy birthday to me. But I have to said if you take a taxi from or to airport is cheaper than book through this hotel. Shame for me cannot speak Spanish.

It is an excellent place modern and very nice for breakfast lunch or just have drinks.

Great staff. Thin walls. Did I mention the thin walls? Price was right. Since I try to stick to Hilton properties, I would probably try the Hilton next time I came to town, even though I like the location of this place.

Really beautiful hotel in a cool area. Market right outside on Sundays. Only issue was that the noise from the square at night was insane, and it was extremely difficult to sleep.

We loved this place and the neighborhood. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The corner room we had was great! Modern, super clean place with a nice breakfast each morning. The restaurant and bar is also really good.

The hotel is a boutique hotel in San Telmo. Te entrance is in front of a small lively plaza. The room's heater seemed easy to operate, but setting it at max heat didn't really heat the room.

Recommended location to live like locals. Local market "Mercado" is so close. In front of the hotel, open space for drinking and dining operated by local owners. Nightly street dancers are performing Tango. By walk, you can also find delicious meals, especially meat restaurants. Hotel quality is higher than average.

Great location. Giselle was fantastic! Friendly and super helpful. I got a room on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard. Its a very comfortable and upscale room. However the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors, the pipes and even the ambient music from the hallway. The hotel was very quiet during my stay, not many people at the restaurants. They do offer a welcome drink for free which is nice. TV channels are Spanish only. A bit disappointing for an international hotel chain.

The place is very cute and quaint. The service of the restaurant is bad enough, poor service and dishes that do not stand out.

I had a wedding party here, seems like a pretty nice hotel. I can't tell you about the hotel service but San Telmo is such a charming area to stay. The hotel is close to a lot of bars and there's a really cool atmosphere nearby, specially during weekends.

Hard to find, beds are small, awkward showers. But the people are nice and can't beat the location.

Great rooms and nice little hotel in a unique location. Gym could use new design expansion. Great restaurants and breakfast. Plus an outdoor natural sitting area that I MO is highlight for nice snack and drink under nice weather. Excellent walk to Puerto madero. Great staff and rates.

Good hotel, but the surrounding area does not seem to be quite safe as Puerto Madero.

A great hotel in a good location for tourists. Lot's of restaurants, boutiques and antiques markets around.

Very good location, beautiful room, good Wi-Fi. Breakfast good. Can be improved: I had a room where an engine made a lot of noise in the early morning.

By far one of my favorite hotels. Staff is extremely kind and helpful, rooms are modern and spotless, location is perfect, tucked away in the the heart of San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires. I am used to budget travel, and while the Anselmo is a little More in the higher range, it is a bargain for the quality and comfort you receive. Hopefully I will be returning very soon!

Very nice Hotel and absolutely impeccable Service. It is a new building behind an old façade to a charming market square where several cafes and danced.
