I liked it but the deal was a bit stiff. It is necessary to differentiate between the national and the international public. I think so. Out of it all spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had the most wonderful 4 days at the Sofitel. The entire front desk team were wonderful but of note, Pablo Castro (Head Concierge), Ariel Hook (Front Desk) and Nicolas Santamonica (Bell Person) went above and beyond their duty to make our stay comfortable and more like home. Pablo is incidentally also the Head of the Concierge organisation in Buenos Aries. A very down to earth gentleman who is full of on-hand knowledge and connections that were wonderful for us to tap into especially given this was our first visit to BA. Sofitel are lucky to have such a great advocate of the city and the Sofitel hotel. Ariel, the gentleman who checked us in and out addressed us by our first names throughout our visit and took a genuine interest on our explorations of BA and constantly checked on how we were enjoying our stay. He also managed to double upgrade us which meant that our 25th anniversary visit was even more special. Thanks Ariel. Nicolas was the bell-person who is always smiling and incredibly helpful in all matters of local directions and our luggage. Thanks Nicolas — do keep smiling. We would only recommend Sofitel to anyone considering a visit to BA.

Incredible staff. Nice rooms. Awesome location to shops and cafes. Good restaurant and bar downstairs. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel in the heart of an amazing city.

Great location, Central too many Museums Art Galleries and within a 10 — 50 minute ride of the majority of things to do in Buenos Aires. I would definitely come back. Housekeeping was wonderful reception was great and there's sufficient English spoken. As always learn the local language.

This hotel is beautiful. I'm not one of those people who love to write terrible reviews. HOWEVER, six different occasions of terrible service is something I have to share. ONE, as we are in awww of the hotel and walking into our room, a staff member of the housekeeping staff was desperate to enter our room. "Cuanto tiempo van a demorar? " It was an odd question seeing how we had pre-reserved the room, an entire day, so we wouldn't have to wait for a normal check in. Upon entering the room, we saw that there was and still is a large stain on the floor between the double beds. I can only assume that's why she wanted to enter the room seeing how everything else was fully stocked. Who knows? We didn't mention this to anyone because hey, how does this affect my stay. As long as the bed is comfortable, right? Wrong. SECOND, the bed was lopsided. No, the bed sheets were not under the bed. The bed was completely flat on one side. My cousin was literally rolling to one side during the first night. This is something that clearly affects our stay so we let the hotel know. A staff of housekeeping came in the room and agreed we needed a new bed. Changed it within half an hour. Perfect. THIRD, I ordered a $4 tea and got something I could have easily paid 50 cents for on the street. I have a sore throat and am a firm believer in hot tea instead of medicine… When I went to the bar downstairs that night. I ordered tea again. A lot better. Definitely worth $5.

Traditional Sofitel experience, in this case located in a historic building in Buenos Aires, representative of the call Belle Epoque, which was then adapted for the hotel chain, to highlight the Restaurant Le Sud, one of the best gastronomic proposals of the city.

This past Sunday we went with friends to know Sofitel Cardales reserve and pass we were to have lunch in the restaurant that was open Le Lac Fusion Gourmet.
Some of the same dishes not covered our expectation of a restaurant inside a luxury hotel. For example we ask, Sorrentinos Capresse, Filetto sauce was low quality seemed as a, was also a little acid and filling is unclear. My MS Esposa asked a Mushroom Risotto. The rice of the same was probably prepared beforehand and regenerated had little oiliness, missing pine mushrooms that give color and flavor to this classic dish. Another order was delicious onion soup, but we had to complain to the waiter bruschetta with brie cheese. That it not never came.
The excellent prawn input and attention was only good. I really thought everyone can have a bad day, but as I know of these issues and know that there is no excuses in Sofitel and only prevails excellence I decided to write them so that the person in charge of the area see the topic.
This Sunday we had other premium options for our lunch apart from the Sofitel but we decided to go to Cardales by advertising that became a client of the Hotel, Member of the Bureau, on the buffet restaurant that was just not enabled as we were informed by lack of occupancy in the rooms (sic).
I only wish to collaborate with my comment from the best place, but I can assure you that on Sunday I was not at Sofitel.

We stayed both here and at the Four Seasons, and believe it or not, I think the Sofitel wins — the rooms are gorgeous, the staff is young and super friendly and helpful. We arrived early in the morning after a long flight, and recognizing we were tired, the girl at the front desk escorted us to a quiet spot where we could relax until a room was available. She even got us refreshments and checked us in without us having to go back to the front desk. Additionally, the cafe makes the most perfect empanadas — some of the best we had in BA. One of my favorite hotels in which I've stayed, and that is saying something.

Friendly service; rooms could do with a renovation.

From the moment you walk through the door they start taking care of you. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is excellent. After getting off an overnight flight from Atlanta is nice to have someone waiting on you. We arranged for car service through them at a reasonable rate. The driver was professional and the car was clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were greeted by name and provided refreshments while we waited on the room to be ready (early morning arrival). After a short wait we were escorted to the room and shown the amenities provided. On this same trip we also stayed at the 4 Seasons and like the Sofitel better. They had some of the best empanadas we had during our stay in South America.

I am in BA for work and have been staying at the Sofitel BA for about four days already, with a a few days to go. I would say that this place is the best hotel that I have stayed in after spending time in about 20 hotels this year. It is not a resort hotel with large outdoor areas and fancy pools, etc. But the hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and the customer service is first rate. They treat you so good, you almost feel guilty about it. If you are traveling to BA and this hotel is in a convenient location for you, and are thinking about saving a few bucks to stay somewhere else, please punch youself in the face until you change your mind.
