Small room, very small bathroom. Strange and funny drinks for breakfast. Unstable and poor Wi-Fi.

Very well located. Friendly and efficient staff. Bar with simple and quick options. I stayed several times and was always well catered for. Thanks to Luis, his manager and all the staff.

Old building with lack of maintenance. The best thing is the location of the hotel and the breakfast service. The maid who attended our room, very attentive. Cleanliness is good but with improved details.

Personally, what I value most in one place, is cleanliness, and I can assure that if there is something I found in the lights, is cleaning, a 10, I highlight PQ then I can let go. Also to emphasize the kindness and good predisposition in the attention both telephone and face and the good will to solve problems, because by my lack of experience to make reservations online I booked 2 rooms and by the page could not Cancel, they communicated with Booking, they fixed it and they did not charge surcharge. No doubt I will come back! Thanks the lights!

I was robbed from the inside of the hotel and took over, very good service!

I was in February, it's the third time I've been with my family. The room is nice and has everything. But while we are accustomed to the receptionists, to my liking "are not warm" (except the night shift, very cool), what happened this time was very bad; I was asked for a alfajor, which according to them was in the cooler and we had eaten it, which was not so. A discussion was generated where the receptionist spoke as if he was right. He finally didn't charge me, but he made me have a really bad time. That little incident tarnished everything!

I really don't like it! Not if it will be that I touched a minihabitacion with a door Q I communicated with another room (obviously was closed) but the noises were heard a lot. The idea of spending a day was to be able to get out of the noise of my home and rest. But it was impossible… The bathroom does not have BIDE is disgusting… I didn't like it. I won't be back.!

Cheap and well organized hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not soundproof. The church bells are heard every hour. 1x1 showers. Well located.

Excellent service, comfortable and spacious. It has an elevator, breakfast buffet. Easy access to tourist destinations in the capital of Buenos Aires. Public transport at 200 MTS.

The rooms and bathrooms are usually very young. The cleanliness was very good. The breakfast is not as complete as one would expect from a hotel like this. But the staff is predisposed to solve doubts. The location is ideal: just one block from the Cabildo and Casa Rosada.

I'm so sorry telling you that Hotel de Las Luces, at 525, Calle Adolfo Alsina, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was the second worst hotel I've stayed in my life. The staff uncapable to help with luggages, very rough and unsympathetic. Ripped towels with holes and smoke smelling, besides malfunction air conditioned, seems to be regular. Staff use to roughly hit plates and cups when picking it up for washing during breakfast, making a loud and annoying sound. Many plates, saucers and cups are splintered and have sharpen edges caused by staff bad handling (not good for children). Wi-fi signal is weak, very unstable and hotel PCs have dirty and damaged keyboards. PCs operational system is an out of date Windows XP which does not allows high resolution picture uploads. My room had dirty walls, with many scratches causing a very bad impression. I love Buenos Aires and I'll be back. Next time, however, UTHGRA hotels will be completely out of my choices. I've got so upset this time because De Las Luces website does not show all these deficiencies obviously. Even a security matter: "not to overload elevator with more than 3 people" is not fullfilled. Hotel staff use to get in your room even when you hang "don't disturb" warning on the door's knob. I've seen many upset other guests from many parts of the world, including Argentina. There is a completely indifferent behavior of the staff on helping and serving. I didn't get a simply "thank you" when leaving the hotel.
