Hotel Presidente Luanda

Nice hotel in Luanda with a terrace bar and food gym/spa facilities. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very good. Buffet style service in the main restaurant, all the food was nice especially the sushi. The bar service was a little slow at times but other than that it was quite a pleasant stay for a couple of nights.

Overall experience is great. The food menu should be revamped. Rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities.

Hotel is in a good location on the corniche / water front right next to the port for Luanda.
Really big room but I had to get the team to unlock the safe as it was still locked, change the batteries in the remote as it wasn’t working.
The room only had one socket to use and no sockets next to the bed for charging your phone.
No irons or ironing board but you can pay to press your clothes via the hotels laundry service.
Breakfast and lunch were a good buffet service which was a round $30 per sitting. Service was very good at breakfast and lunch with a traditional white table cloth type service.
I would stay again due to the location and being very central in Luanda.

I recently stayed at Hotel Presidente in Luanda and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with a beautiful view of Luanda Bay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a stunning sea view. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room included essentials like a minibar and safe. However, I was a bit surprised there was no complimentary tea, coffee, or bottled water—small touches that are expected at this price point.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of options, both continental and local. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help.
That said, the restaurant service could be slow at times, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the overall value for money could be improved—rates are relatively high compared to similar hotels in other countries, though this seems common in Luanda.
Overall, Hotel Presidente is a reliable and comfortable choice, especially for business travelers who want a central location and solid amenities. Just be prepared to pay a bit more than you might expect.

Everything was great except for the lack of warm water, and it took some time for maintenance to arrive. Although I was supposed to be moved to another room and it didn't happen until I went to the reception desk but the TV had no sound. However, the front desk, customer service were excellent.

The hotel itself is nice. The rooms and gym are great. The food is decent but extremely overpriced for Luanda. Also, the vibes are very weird and off. A bunch of wealthy Europeans being served by Angolans. It’s a horrible horrible place. Also the location sucks. This price and no pool too? Wow.

It is one of the best hotels in Luanda. Located in the city centre. Very clean rooms. Great service and support. In the restaurant, multi-themed, and very tasty meals, everyone will find something for themselves. The hotel has a spacious terrace with a bar and a beautiful view of the bay. In addition, the hotel offers conference rooms and a gym, etc. It is worth visiting when travelling to Luanda. I highly recommend it.

The day I went to Hotel Presidente Luanda was full of fun and happiness due to cool environment in the area.

The time, I have spent here, really I have seen the good management of this fantastic hotel and if possible I would recommend more people to come and see what's here, nice rooms, food, siwmming pools. All the best.

I loved this hotel. The staff were excellent with care, the food was good, the room was spacious and I had the best 4 nights sleep in a comfortable bed. It's noise free.
It is luxurious and cozy. It was great stay for me!

Great location, rooms, lounches, restaurant, staff are all very high standards. Food at buffet has great selection, high quality and also plenty healthy choices. The hotel is more oriented on business visitors than leisure. The hotel is expensive, but if quality is more important than price I would certainly recommend it.
