Hostel 90pods & C O working

The whole people in that place kind. The best one in Shkodra. You can try if you want meet people all around, get breakfest, get any ticket to turistic area or learn local things from hostels "manager"

Volunteered here for 6 weeks in June, previous review got taken down. Not safe for solo female travellers. One of the owners, Zenit got taken off of Worldpackers for being inappropriate with multiple YOUNG women who were volunteers. The other owner, Indrit, stalked my socials to berate and harass me after I left. They survive solely on volunteers. You are giving your money to creeps.

I had a great stay here. The location was great, the beds were comfortable and it was nice that you could have your own privacy with the curtain and walls. My friend and I were also allowed to leave some of our things there for free while we traveled to Theth. The staff were also incredibly friendly and the breakfast was nice too! I recommend if you are coming to Shkoder.

Would highly recommend this hostel to anyone backpacking. It’s comfy and well located.
There is a very nice place to hangout, work, cook or meet people.
Staff are very helpful and make sure you have a great stay.

The pod itself is pretty nice but during my stay it was very warm. You don’t get a blanket, just a bedsheet, but I didn’t even use that because of how warm I was. The bathroom is okay, but not one that I really wanted to use. With 40 pods in one room and everyone sharing the same room things devolve into a bit of a mess. The staff is very nice and the bed is very comfy, but I don’t think I can recommend it just yet. It needs those improvements (temperature/blankets) and bathroom the most. Very close to a lot of restaurants though.

Positive:
The "pods" with curtain give a sense of privacy. In each "pod" there is the possibility to charge your electronic devices and a light. The mattress was comfortable. There are additional blankets available. Good Wi-Fi. Large common area with a lot of seats, some couches and a TV. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, freezer, hot water kettle, water is potable, breakfast is included. Good for solotravelers who want to socialize, but I wouldn't call it a party-hostel. Friendly volunteer staff and nice owner.
Negative:
The dorm-room is one large room with all the 40+ "pods" in the same room. Since there are so many people in the same room the risk that someone coughes or snores or generates any other form of noise is quite high. The shower/toilet directly attached to the dorm-room can get very busy and isn't spacious if it's used to its full capacity (four toilets and four showers). We could leave our luggage in the lockers for free while we were in the mountains (Valbone — Theth) for one night, but I believe in high season (starting in June) they might charge for this service. We went to another accommodation for a lower price for a private room the following nights.

The owner, Zenit, promptly sent me a private message after seeing this review, telling me I was wrong about the luggage storage fee I believed they charged during high season.

This is the place to stay in Shkoder if you want a relaxing environment with excellent rooms. The owner Zenit is a very welcoming and hospitable person. The hospitality there is world class. The folks in Albania are really cool as well.

The owner Zeni is very helpful and available to help you at any time. He made me Visit the Mesy Bridge and the Lake. Also the volunteers who work there are really friendly and helpful.
The location is perfection and the breakfast is included. I was supposed to stay only 3 days but I stay 9 days.
I recommend this hostel.

Wow what an experience there! This was one of the moments I enjoyed my trip in Albania! People are so nice and we had our own party! Each pod is clean, the mattress is comfortable, great facility and the most important thing is the owner made me really want to go back there soon to check out the theth & valbona trail. Thank you for the great time and everything!

One of the highlights for my Albanian trip. Originally only planned to stay one night and extended to 3 nights. Clean pod and great stuff from the hostel. The breakfast is amazing too. The place is close to all the central area. Great experience here and will come back!

Awesome hostel. Can always call and book a bed it's cheaper than using booking. Com etc… cash only at property… right now it's only 8 euro with breakfast! (Eggs, bread, vegrablees, jam)
New hostel. A lot of thought put into it. Lovely staff and volunteers. Kept clean! Really enjoyed the spacious lounge area and kitchen. Friendly atmosphere! Amazing price for value. Can get a bit hot in pod but opening the curtain helps!

Great capsule experience. Very comfy mattresses, soft bedsheets and intimacy. The hostel offers day hikes to the Albanian Alps and you can also buy bus tickets to Theth at reception. I came for one night and ended up staying four. Breakfast is in a form of a buffet, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, marmalade, Albanian bread from a local bakery.
It's a new hostel and owners are open to feedback and things to add and improve.
Very clean, great Wi-Fi (available in every corner). Some digital nomads working here since the common area is very big and you can find s quiet corner.
Washing machine available.

Honestly, this was the best experience ever! The staff truly poured their hearts into this newly opened hostel. It's spacious, beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and regularly cleaned. I slept very well.
It is full of good vibes, hanging out with staff feels like reuniting with old friends, and I met so many awesome people. The staff went above and beyond to provide a variety of breakfast, beautiful hospitality, and lots of love❤️. I'm already missing this place.

12 out of 10 hostel! So happy to have ended up here. The owners and staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. You feel right at home from the beginning, and they welcome you as a friend.
The hostel has an amazing lounge area with a fully-equipped kitchen, great breakfast, clean facilities and glorious views of the mountains. An incredible stay overall!
