My experience in a hotel has never been more pleasant. This place is heaven: warm and beautiful interior design, very friendly, charming and helpful staff, comfy beds, yummy food, great location and the lovely furry ball coco. I felt so welcome and comfortable. Will come back hopefully soonish :)

Start with the staff is very efficient and kind, willing to please. Very friendly and doing their utmost to make our stay perfect. The location is superb, the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable and the bathrooms superb and very clean. The breakfast included in the price was a nice buffet. We had dinner at the restaurant and food was delicious! If anyone is thinking to stay in Berat I would highly recommend MANGALEMI HOTEL. In adittion to this I have made a new Albanian friend " Coco".

+ Friendly Stuff recommending meals + broad Choice of Typical Food. (Try the Tave dheu) + prices low as usual + fluffiest dog I have ever seen at the entrance (sleeping most of the time) + enough tables inside and outside on the terrace with view over the city Probably better to make a reservation.

Great hotel, friendly staff, old Ottoman house. Make sure you try some of the raki at the bar, they have 15 different types of raki. Highly recommended.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful. From the people who work there, the restaurants (breakfast is great and dinner amazing), the rooms, location — you cannot go wrong. Have stayed here 4 times in 4 different rooms and all are unique.

The restaurant is great! A lot of traditional Dishes, and great looking place! Would love to come back.

It was really fantastic experience. Cause I take meal at the restaurant, the waiter’s service was so nice. He make happy me and my girl friend. We ate well the meal too. Thanks to the waiter. If I can, I want go one more time.

Greatly located right at the bottom of them fortress and on the edge of the old and new town. The fact offer two restaurants. The outdoor one with open terrace has amazing views over the old city. The food is delicious and cheap. The staff is super friendly.

Friendly service at the bar. Nice and very authentic environment along. It is considered a hot spot bar for the foreign tourism.

Super friendly staff, always here to help or find solution. Baby friendly place also : they have a baby chair. The room 8 is very nice with an outdoor terrace. At night it can be a little bit noisy. The shower is very good. They do have a parking. Very good hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

Very overated. Only one veggie dish and no fish. That's fair enough, but the food was bland, salad was just lettuce, bread was stale and chairs were uncomfortable. Staff lovely though.

Wonderful hotel. Great staff, attentive, speaking various foreign languages. Restaurant perfect, food very tasty, waiters can tell you stories about dishes and history of Albania.

Quaint little boutique hotel in the old town. Beautifuly restored ottoman era structure. Nicely appointment rooms. Good restaurant on a covered roof with a view. Gracious hosts!

Very Helpful waiters, great food, very nice hotel.

The food is a way over expectations, great cottage cheese, even better stuffed aubergine. 'Berat Schnitzel' is one of the best i've ever had. Unfortunately missed the lamb liver and kidney, should come back! The rooftop is perfect for rominite.

I live here and of course I had been in all restaurants and mostt off hotelt andi know the services and I can say the Hotel Mangalemi is the best choice in the town about the food about the area if you are a tousrist because in this area are the most important museums, it is bigger and it is nice place I have shared some pictures and there you can see that the place is the best comparing to other hotels and restaurants and of course the service service is the best because there is a professional group working, if you dont know where to go this is the best place.

Very good service for a very pleasant and smiling team. Small and comfortable setting in a typical Ottoman architecture. Restaurant attached to the hotel delicious. To advise!
