We stayed here for the Easter long weekend and loved this hotel! Staff were friendly, room was super clean and quiet and the hotel is nicely styled.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Even though we only stayed for one night, it was a truly memorable experience.

We experienced a bit of an inconvenience with our room on check-in which couldn’t be resolved as the hotel was fully booked.

We had a very good stay at the StandardX Melbourne for 2 nights in May. It is located in a cool artsy neighborhood of Fitzroy. This area is great for a hip young crowd.

Our immediate first impression was great service, when we were able to check into our room early.

My cousin recommended Brady Hotels Central Melbourne, and I’m glad I chose it for my stay. I know they have several properties in Melbourne, but this time I stayed at the Central Melbourne location.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the Brady Hotel in central Melbourne. We were upgraded to a King room on arrival which was a nice surprise.

I had a nice stay here, the rooms were nice and clean and felt modern with smart tvs and the pool area was nice.

We had a nice stay at this Best Western. The location is great. Walking distance to the CBD, and next to some nice parks. It's convenient and quiet.
The rooms are nice, fairly modern, and clean.

Best place to go to mix with nice people and get around the city. Close to CBD, and lots of things to do as long as you can walk a bit.

Easily one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Rooms were always neat and tidy, and bathrooms and kitchen areas were always very clean as well. Really loved all the events hosted, too.

Me and my partner stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom during our stay here for 6 nights.

Fantastic, affordable, clean hotel in the heart of the Melbourne CBD but not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle.

My room had 2 big stains on the carpet. The room had a very weird smell. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. I had a view of the rubbish bins. The noise was awful.

Stayed 9 nights in the two bedrooms, two bathrooms apartment, overall had a pleasant stay. Price is quite reasonable especially for a family of four.

Older buildings, but well maintained and the reception staff were very helpful. My apartment was quite big, with a full kitchen, laundry and separate dining area.

My husband and I were delighted to make the Comfort Apartments our ‘home away from home’ for 3 nights on a recent trip to Melbourne.

I’ve been living at Scape Franklin and overall it’s been a good experience. The rooms are quite small, but they have everything you need and are well designed to make good use of the space.

Currently staying at Scape Franklin and really love this place. The staff are really nice, there are super helpful and friendly (you can ask for help anytime).

Room and location are all good. I stay here once a month when visiting for work. Service isn’t the best but passable.

Stayed here in June 2026. Hotel is large and motel style but a little tired and old. Rooms the same, thick walls so it was fairly quiet at night. A comfortable enough nights stay no major issues.

I stayed here x2 nights and desperately wanted to stay here longer but had a change of plans. Hosts are friendly and helpful, and the place was spotless.

Wouldn’t usually stay in shared house with my partner and our 10 year old but this place definitely changed my perspective on shared accommodation. Very clean very inviting.

We booked 4 nights in a one bed deluxe apartment.
There is free car parking in the basement of the complex, which the receptionist opens for you. You just ring upon arrival.

Booked a 2 bedroom serviced apartment for a reasonable price (for Australia) of $300 a night. It was bigger than my actual apartment, clean and well appointed.

The Mansion is a backpackers but I honestly felt like it was much better than MOST I've stayed with. The bedrooms and facilities were clean, people were nice and I felt very safe.

Very good basic but good value rooms in an excellent location close to lots of cafes bars and restaurants in Carlton — and very walkable to Fitzroy.

The staff in the building are super friendly and will go out of their way to assist you with any issues.

There's a lot of negative reviews about the cleanliness of the rooms, but most of those negative comments seem to relate to how modern some of the features are, not its hygiene.
