Tokyo Hotels near Konrei-ji Temple

Not a bad hotel. Very small rooms in new but uninspired business hotel decor (could be anywhere) but clean. Comfy beds with nice linen.

Stayed here for 2 nights.
Room: Comfortable, spacious (Tokyo standard), clean, sufficient lighting. They gave me a room at the Annex Building and the room was facing a hospital.

Stayed here for 5 nights in November 2025.
Pros:
1) The location is fantastic. The Ueno station, Ueno Park and the Narita Skyline stations are all just a hop, skip and a jump away.

I stayed here for one night in a single room.

We had a great time here. Staff is friendly and welcoming, rooms are reasonably large and clean. The Japanese ryokan style adds to the charm. What I liked most though it's the location.

I had another wonderful and comfortable stay at Annex Katsutaro Ryokan. One of the best parts is the location.

We knew the room was small, and it was. However this was easily made up with the most comfortable bed that we slept in whilst away. The pillows were not comfortable to use.

The hotel has an excellent location, situated in a calm neighborhood compared to the rest of Tokyo, while being only a two-minute walk from the subway station.

We loved our stay here. Out of all of the hotels in Japan that we stayed at, this place had the most welcoming staff. They were very kind and also were constantly working to clean or help guests.

Fantastic little hotel. Welcoming, friendly, attentive staff. Clean, well-appointed rooms with comfy beds. Location is great — walking distance to Nippori, which is a good hub station.

I stayed in Twin room 1009. Quiet corner and top floor. Room is sufficient for opening 2 luggages but must close up to allow walking passage. Pajamas are comfortable.

We stayed in the panda room, it was really cute! The hotel location was really convenient and easy to find. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well.

We stayed at Tokyo Trip Hotel in October and found it was a good location and the hotel was neat and clean. The staff were amazing. They were so helpful.

Very convenient location, close to 2 train stations one of which has a direct line to Narita. Of course with such proximity there would be noise which is expected.

A wonderful hotel. Very quiet location. Yet close to a major rail station. Lots of good places to eat close by. The apartments are well appointed.

We stayed here with our teenager and other son for a week. It’s a very large space with everything you could need and the beds are very comfortable.

Rooms are run down but clean. On the smaller size. Great location. Kinda odd they wanted us to hand the room key in whenever we left. Not something I expected before.

We chose Hotel New Ueno mainly for its location—right across from Ueno Station and super convenient for catching the Keisei Skyliner to Narita.

Large rooms (for Tokyo), great service and very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Great value for money for Tokyo.

One of the most clean hotels I even been the amniyet seem besutiful to take from reception. Staffs were kind and respectful.

This is a really good hotel, just amazing they are make me very happy here and im comming from 5 star hotel. The front office is friendly and very professional, they speak a rrally good english here.

The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes walk to Nippori Station, where you can board the skyline to Narita, Tokyo subway and JR trains.

Excellent location, walking distance to Ueno Station and to the others attractions. Hotel also located at a quiet place too which is a bonus.

Really really enjoyed my stay at Sakura Hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable enough for Japanese accomodation.

Great hotel for those on a budget. Very near the train station (Sendogi st. ). The rooms are clean.

Rooms: Always clean but covers are a bit worn out. Compared to other rooms/hotels you might get one that the walkable space is quite limited.

October 2025/Family travel/3 nights stay. My family of 4 adults stayed at Hotel Guest1 in the last week of October. We loved this hotel and the services.

Hanare is such a special place! We only had 1 night at hanare, but wish we had stayed longer — we will definitely be back next time we are in Tokyo.

I had a relaxing stay in the hotel. I stayed at Niwa Room and it’s absolutely charming. Environment is very quiet and serene. The staff are all very thoughtful. Breakfast is incredible.

This was my third time visiting Tokyo, but my first time visiting the Ueno area.

We have stayed in Hotel Graphy Nezu for 6 nights and coming back for more at the end of our journey.
Rooms are clean, big for Japan, and feels good.

Very convenient location by Nippori station (particularly good for coming from/going to Narita airport). Young lady at the front desk is exceptionally friendly.

Love this place, the front desk (Vivi) was super nice, cute and friendly! She greeted us with a smile.
The room was ready by the time we came (we had came at least 30 minutes early).

Booked a very small room, but it was fully functional. However, the narrow corridor made it impossible to open a large suitcase, and packing and unpacking were quite challenging.

I would definitely come back to stay here again. On my next trip to Tokyo, I will surely book this hotel again. The room is comfortable and just the right size for 1–2 people.

I recently had a pleasant stay at Hotel Graphy Nezu. The hotel is located in the charming Yanasen area, which is both vibrant and conveniently situated for exploring Tokyo.

I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Sunroute Stellar Ueno. The location is excellent – just a few minutes from Ueno Station, which made it easy to get around the city.

My second time staying here. It's conveniently located near to Ueno park.
