Very clean and comfortable. Lots of pillows and towels. Staff was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable. This is our second stay here, due to medical procedures. And, I am sure we will continue to say here. If we ever needed to stay in TC, for other reasons, we would stay here. I am just impressed, with the with all of the positives associated with this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. I enjoyed the large walk-in shower. Though not needed by me, the shower seat is a nice feature. USB charging ports on the alarm clock are also a nice convenience. Clerk was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean, the bed was pretty comfortable and the continental breakfast only carbs (cereal, bagels, mini muffins, toasts) and coffee or tea, but the area was organized and clean. Paid $56 off season and weekday. Cons: the sink was clogged, but we arrived pretty late and tired so we decided not to complain. There is a mini fridge in the room and I like that the sink and mirror are outside the bathroom and are very ample.

I have stayed here a few times within the past couple months. The front desk staff has always gone above and beyond to accommodate me. The rooms are clean and are usually the best price point. They do accept cash deposits which is great bc credit card holds take forever to clear. Thank you again guys! Keep up the customer service and I will keep coming back!

Great place to stay. Wonderful, pleasant and accommodating staff. Very clean room. Everything I would hope for and expect from a basic hotel. Will definitely be back, hopefully many times!

The room was wonderful. I enjoyed the hottub in the room the most. The location is close to good places to eat and not to far from downtown Traverse City.

We're locals that were looking to get out of the house for a few days, so the location and price were great for us. The room was clean, but smelled faintly of a previous smoker. Not too bad, but noticable. The staff was very friendly.

Clean rooms comfortable beds. Nothing special about the breakfast, pretty much same as other comparable motels. Vey few outlets to plug into.

I drove two hours to rent a room here I come here to stay 4 days a week, because I work up here. The night worker I have never seen before, John told me that I needed to be 21 note I've rented a room here before I told him "I'll be right back I have someone who's 21 but I have rented a room here before" he said well you need to be 21 and I said well I will have to call the owner of this place and see if that's true he said "you're not renting here goodbye" he open the door and slammed it in my face. I will be talking with the manager in the morning.

Nice place. Clean with friendly staff. Wi-Fi hardly worked at all.

This has been the best 2 star hotel I've stayed at. I only stay here when I travel for my business trips.

For being advertised as "only" a 2-star hotel, I was expecting only "basic" accommodations and attention to detail. Instead, we opened the door to our kingsize bed, jacuzzi room, to find it spotless, fresh-smelling, and up-to-date. All the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The free continental breakfast was ample and the serving area was clean. We have no complaints whatsoever and would stay again. Thank you!

For what we paid, we were happy with it. It was a clean older hotel. The staff was nice also.

Rooms are very clean, well priced and inviting. Nothing extravagant but our room had a refrigerator, flat-screen tv, coffee maker, work desk but unfortunately no microwave, not a big deal though. A/C could have been cooler but it was a very muggy hot night. On the plus side, hot water in shower never seemed to lose temperature and there's a free breakfast. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to come back especially since we just left a room at the Quality Inn that was twice as much, smaller and wasn't as inviting as this room.

Some of the staff isn't incredibly friendly, but they do run an efficient hotel. The view is basically non-existent but the proximity to 3 beaches and downtown Traverse trumps it. Overall, would stay again.

This Motel was kind of expensive I thought. Although it was in Traverse City and I know a lot of the motels are high-priced there. Since we were paying with cash they charged my credit card a $250 deposit. The room smelled musty the bathroom mirror was damaged and the bathroom door had a hole punched in it. So if it's common practice for them to charge a deposit for damages why were the damages from previous customers not repaired. We had been traveling for the past 6 days up in the up and we're on our way home. Every motel that we stayed in a long way took my credit card and put it on file just in case there were damages left behind but not one of them actually charged my card money only to refund it later this practice makes no sense to me. The only reason I am not giving this only one star is because the beds were fairly comfortable.

Knights Inn is a nice hotel but bit expensive and location is not that great. There is no lake view and its on opposite side of lake. Rooms are decent.

Attended a wedding, when returned from the reception, there were no open parking spaces and no employee in the office. There were two other guests who said there was a "hotline" to call for emergencies but one said he had been waiting 20 minutes. Fantastic "value" and "customer service" for paying $300 for a room.

Nice, clean room and good location. Parking was a challenge, but overall a good value.

The beds are comfortable and the staff is nice. Best value in Traverse City!

The room was clean and did the job Pool was a little cold but good outside of that. Breakfast served was very basic.

Good prices, very quaint, room was clean and a good size, continental breakfast was good.

Not recommended. Rude employees. Stained bedding. Raised rates without notice. There are better places for a basic room at fair prices with friendly employees.

I had an awesome stay at the knights inn. The staff was great and the room was very clean. The breakfast was not the best but, the room was cheap.

Outlets were difficult to get to, bed was hard, but at the end of the day it's what you can expect for $35 a night. You don't go there for the quality, you go there to sleep, shower, and leave.

We had really rowdy neighbors that were drug addicts/alcoholics and tried to mess with us. When we walked to our room they were standing in front of the door and made for extremely awkward conversation. They also smoked on the walkways when it explcitly said not to.

Horrible harassment from the man at front desk. 12/18/15

Matt's harassment is completely uncalled for an un warranted. I purposely used the lobby bathroom because the one in our room was occupied by my roommate. I did my duty (pun intended) and promptly left when finished. I was approached by Matt, after explaining to him the toilets flushing capabilities were limited, and I was concerned he was closing his lobby as it was just after 9pm (They actually close at 11). Instead of saying sorry about the inconvenience have a nice night he decided it was advantageous to perpetrate me about the length of time I was in the bathroom. The length of time I use the bathroom is of no importance, and in simpler terms: Just like you I am granted the 4th amendment right to privacy. No apology and continued resistance to acknowledge why I was upset and why it is not okay to profile me as someone who would "be shooting up… in the bathroom" quote from Matt 10-16-2015

Due to weather, had to make a last-minute change in itinerary and move my reservation back by one night. The manager wanted to bill me for that night anyway, claiming that he was losing revenue for the room. I told him He wasn't losing revenue, I was still renting the room just one night later than originally planned — he still had time to rent the room for that evening. The manager reluctantly agreed. When I finally got to the room the next night, I was charged more than the internet rate I had reserved… I will never do business with Knights Inn again!

For the price, it was what I expected. These places provide a service and are great…

Not impressed at all! I arrived a few hours before check in time hoping to get showered and changed after coming in on a red eye flight for a funeral, instead I was told I couldn't check in until 3 and ended up going to my grandmother's funeral in travel/sleep worn clothing and messy hair. Then the next day, my bathtub wouldn't drain. I asked to get moved to another room and add instead suggested to visit the area for the day while they brought a plumber in to fix it. Bullshit. I have another night here and I'm about to cancel and go somewhere else!

I usually stick with Comfort Inn but I was on a camping trip that turned disastrous and needed a reasonably priced room at very last minute. Great customer service. The room was overall impressive. No bugs and clean bathroom and sink. Ended up staying there for 2 nights. I didn't expect much when I heard they only offer a "cold" breakfast but was pleasantly surprised to find am array of bread, bagels, and doughnuts with jam, peanut butter, and cream cheese, orange and apple juice, 4 different types of cereal, a selection of instant oatmeal and yogurts, as well as coffee. Overall a very good experience. The housekeeper did seem to leave the room only half clean though (did not restock towels or bar soap and left the trash can sitting on the sink).
