Very busy place, at least on weekends, but by about 8pm things were so quiet it made for great night's rest. Clean rooms and for being so busy they still offered a fair price.

Spent a day swimming in the outdoor pool. It was very clean and they let people swim for a fee of $6 and allows for access from 9 a. M. To 7 p. M. They also provide showers and restrooms accessible by code. I believe just keeps them nice and clean.

It was cool, exactly what you pay for. Although we did find a roach but other than that we just needed a spot to sleep for the night and that goal was achieved. I will also say that this place is in the middle of a bunch of places to eat, get gas and right off the freeway so even better!

This is a no frills operation. Don't expect a continental breakfast or a fitness area. However, if you simply need a clean bed for the night on a budget, look no further.

I really liked the people at check in. She was so friendly. My cousin lost his id and I used mine. Well anyway it was a nice stay and near Dog Patch one of my favorite places. Year of the Dog who would have thought.

Awesome place for a Trucker. Clean rooms, great rates & parking. I wish more hotels were like this one. The only bad thing is no laundry machines. The truck stop across the street does have some though.

Very kind staff the rooms were small yet clean non — smokers should ask for a smoke free room. Smoking rooms are available. The. Motel was accommidating with a quick check in and out. Perfect after a long drive for showering and sleep. ** Parking available for large trucks, RVs, and toy haulers.

Great way to treat your locals if you pay in cash forget about renting a room here damn sad that a hard working man can't pay with cash anymore.

We were at their campground. Their campground is easy to get in and out. Close to a lot of good eating places. We stay at this campground, usually twice a year. We love it. Close to everything.

This is a very nice hotel located at Dogpatch Kentucky very nice and very clean the owners and managers are very well to do people they treat you like family.

No idea why there were so many positive reviews on this place, honestly. We picked it, despite having no experience with the brand, based on the number of positive reviews, despite there being a number of other local options in the same price range. The room we stayed in was extremely dated (I felt like I had been transported back in time to my grandma's house). All systems at the front desk were extremely dated (they still use keys, for instance, not keycards). Breakfast was a box of pre-packaged pastries. We had to lug our luggage up the narrow internal stairs to reach our second floor room. Room felt clean, but extremely dated. Shower head was located quite low in the wall — — had to bend over to wash your hair. (I"m only 5'10", so it's not unreasonable to expect to be able to stand under the shower head). Staff was friendly, as advertised.

After breaking down on our way back home our tow truck driver from lunsfords towing brought us here not even knowing where we were as it was 10pm and dark I am so greatfull to be here it is safe clean the staff was so nice and inviting I will definitely remember this gem in my future travels and recomend it to everyone passing by! Nice rooms with good shower pressure. Clean, quiet, easy access to your car. Small breakfast bars and coffee in morning. Alarm clock has us for phone charging. Cable TV. Mini fridge.

Stopped over for one night. Very clean and comfortable. Very nice at 9:30 p. M on the phone when I called ahead. Will stay again.

The hotel is run by a family and is very neat and clean. It's nothing fancy but the price is reflective of that. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for a cheap place to sleep along 75.

Cheap and very clean. Has a pool and vending machines. Lots of close amenities. Great for a quick overnight stop.

Imagine if you could stay in an older style family owned and operated motel with clean sheets and great service for about $60? Too good to be true, yet here we are! This has been our best stay in 3000 miles bar none, and sits right next door to Waffle House, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, and McDonald's without ever having to cross the street! Really a perfect 2 star motel.

Firewood they provide is very costly friendly. Awesome people… They had fireworks when we were there…

Stayed here for a couple of weeks while looking for a place, the rate was decent. Almost all of the staff was very friendly, had one problem with a front desk clerk who wouldn't fix the internet because "he didn't feel like it". Other than that, everything else was wonderful. The rooms are really nice, but some rooms could be updated to have flat screen TVs. They have an area outside where you can grill up some food and sit at the tables to enjoy the weather. Love this place, would definitely recommend.

I liked the room, very clean. Looked newly remodled. Bath tub and shower also was new, actuallt better than the Comfort Inn Suites we stayed at last night in Alabama that costed over a $100. This was a much more affordable night. Everything worked as it should. Still uses real keys, I like that. Front desk was friendly. Glad to see an American family is still in the motel business in America. This motel reflects American pride that has been lost in the motel business. I have traveled accross the United States in the last 6 years and found 2 motels that I would stay in again. I would recommend this to anyone.

We stayed here on our way back from Mammoth Cave. It is a nice well kept property with lots of places to eat around. We really liked the at door parking and the cleanliness of this place. We will stop again on our way to Pigeon Forge in the summer. Wont break the bank either.

Front desk called me twice in the morning to remind me checkout time. Blanket had strange smell. Wifi was not stable. Other than that it's pretty much ok. Spacious room, great location. Good for the price. Love the old phone in the room. Vintage kind of feeling.

Honestly the nicest hotel I've ever been to in the 50 60 dollar range. I was only there for a night but it was clean, it didnt have a strong smell, nice shower, and fast Wi-Fi.

It's no "5 star" resort BUT it is an incredibly clean facility with an incredible price! Looks to be recently renovated on the inside. The staff was very friendly even when we checked in around 3 a. M. And the beds were more than comfortable (we did bring our own pillows so can't speak to those). Highly recommend stopping in here!

My family has stayed here 3 times in the last year. Its been very clean each time we stayed and I will stop again because its hard to find decent lodging these days at a reasonable price. Everything worked, used Wi-Fi and had a good shower. I also liked the at door parking because it just seems more handy.

Room had an old musty odor and the air conditioner was unusable due to blowing foul air. Otherwise clean and fairly quiet. Just ok for the price.

I was very pleased with facilities at this price rate. Actually more than pleased. I would recommend this facility to all those reading these reviews.

We stopped on our way to Gatlinburg TN and really liked this place. Most of all it had nice clean rooms where everything worked. Good showers and comfortable beds. We used the pool and Wi-Fi. Had a great meal next door. We will stop again.

Needs major updates like carpet, faucets, furniture, ect… and if your staying for more than one night, be VERY careful what you leave in your room! I had some things stolen while it was being cleaned and after it was reported to the owner, (or owners son) he was a total prick and said "so call the law, it's not my problem". All I can say is your a lucky sob and not worth going to jail over! After staying here for several yrs for our annual July 4th family reunion, you'd think he'd have at least a little class! Don't let the nice rv's in the pics fool ya, it's not the descent hotel it used to be. They have some good and nice workers that work there, just a bad one or two that might just take things that don't belong to them and a boss/owner that won't even question the matter. It's too bad the good workers have to work under classless management. (The owners son)!

Great little rv park convenient to just about any kind of food you can imagine. Right behind McDonald's and Shilo Steakhouse and Cheddars is right next door. Quiet and clean. Great staff.

For the price this place is great. We stayed for seven nights in a row and they cleaned our room immaculately every single day. The building is older, but the service makes up for it. It's a wonderful value and we will definitely stay again in the future.

Have stayed here twice on business trips and I'm pretty picky. I was very skeptical with a $46 room but both times was blown away with cleanliness, service, room size, etc. Only drawback was the breakfast but for that price I had plenty of money left over from my expense budget to buy my own at one of the convient local restaurants. I'm going back next week and will stay at Budget Host again.

My husband and I stay the night here and I gotta say we will be back if we are passing threw again. The stay was good and way better then any motel 6 I have ever seen. The price was right, the room was very clean and the beds are so Coffey. Not only all those good things but the fact that they have parking for semis and pets under 20 pounds stay free. Also the customer service was great as far as customer service should be. Thanks budget host inn for making us feel welcome.

That's about all you can say: frankly, outstanding value for the cost. When the other hotels in the area were charging more than twice as much (and seriously, $80 a night in London, Kentucky? Come on now), $40 for a place where I just needed to crash for the night was fantastic. Obviously, you get what you pay for, so don't expect high-quality. But it was quiet and clean, and that's all that mattered. Just make sure you have your own toiletries, and if you need a FUNCTIONING vibrating bed, you may have to go elsewhere ;).
