Very nice spa hotel, just 1 km from Hoi An city centre. Very good breakfast, room maintained and well equipped. The daily free massages first class!

Really enjoyed our time here. It was great having a massage every day and we enjoyed the variety of techniques available. Lovely pool area which was very relaxing after the busyness of Hoi An, Hotel location is an easy walk to the river and restaurants, but is far enough away to feel like you are in a relaxing resort.

Everything about Almanity was a delight. The Wi-Fi-equipped shuttle picked us up from the airport and upon arrival we were immediately greeted by a concierge who helped us construct the perfect itinerary for our short stay. The pool is breathtaking, our massage at the spa was lovely and the proximity to Hoi An old town was perfect — not too close, not too far. Very highly recommend!

Very attentive front office and bar staff. The restaurant staff could be a bit more welcoming and anticipate needs. Property could do with a little refresh. Overall a satisfactory stay.

Almanity exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed by friendliness of all the staff at the reception, restaurant and spa. All were willing to help and with a smile. It rained both days of our stay and the staff offered us happily offered us umbrellas. The daily spas were a treat. We ordered the high tea around 9.00pm, after the first spa and on the day of our late arrival having missed dinner. The high tea was delivered in good time and was a welcoming late snack/dinner. The resort, though not large. Is very well designed and a nice ambiance. Well recommended.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was exceptional. Quiet in the hotel despite traffic. Cleaning was thorough. Friendly staff everywhere. Breakfast was extremely good. A 20 minute pleasant, busy walk to the old town. Watch out for the legendary motor bikes!

My wife and I have already written to the GM about our experience at the hotel. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to return. We lobed everything, the food the staff, the hotel, the gym,, the happy hour, everything. We can't wait to return.

A little piece of heaven in the middle of Hoi An! What a sublime experience from the welcome cocktail, the warm greeting from the staff giving full orientation of the state of the art facilities and the exceptional spa experience of a full body massage, sauna and steam rooms included in our honeymoon package. The restaurant and bar with live music rounded off the experience to 10 out of 10 with its wide variety of food and drink options. We ended off our first night with a jacuzzi spa bath in our room… what a treat!

We chose a 6 night accommodation and spa package in a superior room. The room had all the mod cons. Breakfasts were fine with much variety to tempt everybody. The spa service was excellent. The 2 hour happy 'hour' was a welcome touch. The pool was refreshing. Lounging around the pool with a book or tablet and taking advantage of the food and drink service on tap is a great way to relax. We used the free shuttle bus to take us to the hotel's facilities at a nearby beach and ate and drank there for a few dollars. The bus will also take you near to the heart of the old quarter if you don't want to walk, or if the humidity gets you or if crossing the roads is a bit too daunting. Instead of using the shuttle or taxis (cheap at about ($2-3), we did a lot of walking to the tailors and restaurants by the river which provide the sights and sounds (and locals wanting to sell you things) that you can't get inside the hotel restaurant. The coloured lanterns create a happy atmosphere. Front office staff will do anything they can to improve your stay. Hiep was our first contact and she kept an eye out for us every day. The floors of the hotel are tiled (not carpeted which would lead to a musty smell in the humidity) so expect to hear some hallway noise and things like chair movements from the rooms above, but not conversational noise. We will be back in Hoi An in 6 months time and will probably stay at the Almanity again.

Great hotel. We felt very much at home, from the first welcome by the exeptional staff to our departure amidst typhoon Damrey. — they lent us some super umbrellas for touring Hue and Hoi An. Room, breakfast, spa, bar, restaurant etc. Was as nice, as we had hoped from looking at the website. I love the blue notes and simplistic design. We will definately stay there again.

Pleasant Hotel with great SPA.

All the staffs are very kind and friendly. This was my second time to Vietnam-Hoi an, picked the same hotel — 'Almanity' for 4 days trip. Their breakfast is very good, various kind of food. It is very nice to start a day with nice breakfast and chill at the pool side to enjoy sun bath. The My Chi spa is amazingly good, good temperature in the massage room, nice welcoming tea. Hotel room has nice interior design, overall very clean and comfortable, except the wall sound isolation is not very good, which means you could hear what is happening in the room next door and outside the corridor. The neighborhood is very convenient, there are many restaurants nearby the hotel and around 10 mins walk to the Hoi An ancient town.

Lovely hotel at a good location. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room is beautifully designed and very cozy. Breakfast is great. Service at the restaurant needs some improvement. Bar area is boiling hot. Food for in-room dining was so so.

Very friendly staff. They made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good with enough choices. The bathroom in our room was fine. But in our room 4100 the furnishings were slightly old, and need replacing. Also there was no decoration at all in the room. So it was a bit bland. We found the balcony from our second level bedroom was slightly low and dangerous for children. We enjoyed our stay. And would return for sure.

This is one of the best accommodations in Hoi An so far. The hotel and guest room decor is modern and gorgeous, also the pool and spa with unique design. All the staff is friendly, helpful and kind to us. Other customer services are good that you couldn't ask for more. My husband and I had an unforgettable honeymoon at Almanity, thank you and I will definitely come back in my next trip.

We were checked into the hotel by Ly, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our stay. Initially, we were checked into a room on the ground level facing the pool; however, it became abundantly clear upon entering the room that mold was a pervasive issue (we could smell it. ) We brought this concern to Ly, who immediately sought out solutions to our problem, eventually moving us upstairs, to a larger room facing the street that did not suffer from mold (as far as we were able to smell it. ) The only other instance of mold issue was with the elevator; however, this is a very minor issue. Each morning, breakfast was well-made and the restaurant staff were attentive to our needs, making us feel welcome and cared for. We were always greeted with a smile and anything that we requested was immediately provided — again (and importantly) with a smile and real sense of pleasure serving us and making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I felt throughout our trip that the facilities were of high quality and that the staff were eager to please but also respectful of our privacy. I am very happy with Almanity, I hope to return one day and I intend to recommend it to anyone I know who plans to visit Hoi An. Thank you very much! Michael & Teresa.

The best place to go on holiday. Staff great!

Its beautiful here, the service is exceptional. My favourite place in vietnam.

Location is ideal. 15 minute walk from the old town but still quiet enough to relax. Great pool area and the free spa treatment helped. They claim to have Wi-Fi but this only works well in reception area. Breakfast is average at best but cocktails are nice. The room is clean but be warned the bed is upstairs in the loft and with the narrow stairs and low balustrade it can be difficult for some. Service is what lets this place down. After the first room service we thought someone had gone through our bags but dismissed it. You have to continually remind them for what you've asked for, today I got my tea as I was leaving breakfast. On day 2, when I asked for a waffle at the waffle stand, you'd think I'd asked for her first born given the look she gave me. To top it all off, we checked out without problem but then when we got into a taxi, we were chased down and told we'd had a 50g bag of chips from the bar yesterday — which we had not — and that needed to be settled. We never take anything from a mini bar and to be made to feel like a thief, topped off the whole experience!

Free massage of 90 minutes every day was much more fantastic than mere free masage. I did not expected to enjoy Japanese miso soup with many optional ingredients for my breakfast, including the hearty Vietnamese noodles. The swimming pool looked great but we were unfortunate just to enjoy looking due to little too cold and windy weather. The room might be small but cosy and exquisite. The place is located within 20 minutes of walk from Hoi An downtown. People were eager to help us. The big applause and acclamation from the reception attendees made us feel wonderful when my kid tried to say "happy new year" to them in Vietnamese. The hotel was almost spotless except the unentertaining kid's place with boring toys.

Stunning grounds and free 90min spa treatment (inc. Massage) every day. Pools are great, service good and food very nice. Room isn't the largest but is properly lush.

The service was outstanding. Hotel Manager Andrew was an excellent host and extremely accommodating and the staffs were so friendly and respected your space but were so helpful when needed. The spa treatments were amazing and included in my stay. Plenty of Aussies staying here and everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be staying here again.
