Delightful staff, good sized rooms that are spotlessly clean and right near everything that you need.

This place is fantastic. The location is great, clean and spacious rooms, 5 star quality, food was amazing and the staff are just the most warm, welcoming and attentive I have ever encountered. My husband was injured in a robbery which resulted in a hospital stay and the staff went above and beyond to help us out. They even came on trips to the hospital and police station with us to help translate, helped me organise a sim card and assist me while my husband was in hospital getting to and from making sure I was safe. I am forever grateful for their sincere compassion. Truly amazing. I would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh to stay at the Grand Silverland. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Excellent location but mist of the room without window…

Great hotel. Good large clean rooms, excellent inner city location. Every major attraction is within walking distance. Breakfast is nice, and good quality. Lovely staff. Would certainly recommend.

Great hotel in heart of city. Rooms and large and clean. Breakfast is amazing with real fruit juices and many options to choose from. Complimentary airport transfer when you book 3 nights is a bonus. Will stay again.

We have stayed here three times varying from 1 to 3 nights. In 2018 the hotel has been significantly refurbished and the rooms have been upgraded. We were upgraded to an "Executive " room which is spacious and very well equipped. The breakfast buffet is adequate and evening dining is limited, possibly in recognition of the large range of alternative dining options nearby. The Ben Thanh market is less than 200m away and offers a wide range of market bargains as does the night market which appears as a "pop up" every night. Overall the hotel is well located, comfortable and good value.

Very very very nice place to stay! We were welcomed my warm greetings and snacks. Location is very near to the central city, its just around 500m from Ben Thanh Market. The rooms are super spacious! And we got the small garden outside our room.

Awesome place. Very friendly staffs. Great roof top bar and pool. Close to all local attractions : food market, Ben Thanh market, Notre Dame, … Very comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

Pretty nice. Was quite shock to see it quite big. It has a nice pool on top of the building as well. But my room Internet was pretty bad… I had to walk to the toilet to get a, better signal. Tho that's only in my phone. On my laptop it works better, not sure why but yea the Wi-Fi is not so great but do-able.

Nice clean and big rooms. There is only one sunshade at the pool. The breakfast is a big buffet. The typical vietn. Food is not good, but they serve bread…

We stayed in the executive king suite and it was perfect with our own personal balcony with a live wall. The pool is spectacular and the staff is beyond exceptional. Breakfast had many options of various cuisines and even had eggs Benny! Right next to the bustling market with knock offs galore. Would recommend secret Garden restaurant, although you'll likely need a reservation and the ori nail and spa for any spa services (just a 5 min walk)

Convenient, located in the city center, good food, waiters are very friendly, I have the opportunity to come again.

Thoroughly impressed with this hotel. We arrived early, and they had no problem checking us in early. They upgraded our room as a courtesy. Complemenary afternoon tea was lovely with a live pianist who was a delight to listen to! She is very talented. A chef was cooking complementary crepes and waffles. All staff we encountered were extremely professional and gave excellent service.

Ideal location for a visit to Saigon. Delightful staff and great service. Bath tub could be a bit tricky for those with mobility issues.

Stay here for 3 nights in March 2018 for work. Hotel is conveniently located near Ben Thanh market. (5mins away) Vincom Centre is about 10 mins away. Room is clean and spacious.

Cannot express how great the staff are at the Silverland. Everyone was welcoming and always quick to greet you with a hello. The rooftop view is fantastic, as well as the complementary breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. Everyone spoke English quite well and always take the time to listen to your needs. I highly recommend it.

Quiet, clean, neat. Good breakfast. The pool was very nice. The entourage of the hotel is decorated in colonial style, many old historical photos. The location is great, everything is right next door.

Small but nice room with bathroom. The view from the top floor can be seen as well as from the pool. Friendly and courteous staff. Got a breakfast to take away for the early departure and also the additional booked massage. The entrance hall is pretty nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights. We upgraded to a room with a window, it turn out to have a wall in front of it less than a metre away, no view. Not worth the extra money. Like most of the hotels in the city the noise is never ending. Sitting in the bar/ pool area you just hear cars and mopeds non stop.
Breakfast was good, even had soya milk, and staff very helpful. Great location for walking out.

This is an affordable place to stay. Even though it is cheap, it still carries a high standard. There is breakfast and tea time and both provide the guests with delicious food. My only complaint is that the gym is too small and I wish it would have more equipments.

Good clean rooms. Polite staff with good English. Great location in District 1. Breakfast is good and there is also afternoon tea with free cakes and coffees. The pool facility has a great view from the rooftop.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of our trip and again here in our last night before travelling home … great hotel, all of the staff have been lovely and can't do enough for you … great location too! Roy d the corner from the street food market!
If I come back to Ho Chi Minh, I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed her for nearly 2 weeks in 2017. I arrived for my room about 4 hours early however the staff were welcoming and looked after my bags. They offered me complimentary lunch while I waited for the room to be available however I chose to explore the city instead. When I came back they showed me to my room and brought my bags up. Very professional. The room was cleaned every day and new towels were given each day. Cleaning was done well. Staff at front were helpful with descent English skills. Breakfast was a buffet with as much tea and coffee as you can drink. Cooked to order omelettes were offered, the omelette chef was an absolute pleasure and brightened my morning several times. The pool area is really nice but we only went in the mornings because it seemed to be full of drunk Australians in the evenings, not the hotel's fault though. I did find myself being woken a couple of times by work going on nearby at 4am but that's Vietnam and would happen anywhere in Saigon. However the hotel could get window with better sound insulation. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

This time the average person apportioned about $1000 yuan. Service: 1. At the arrival of the hotel there are service staff to help with luggage, as soon as you sit down immediately attached to the welcome drink (super good to drink) 2.
Whether it is the counter staff or the service staff English ability is very good, there is no communication barrier at all.
We arrive at about noon, the counter staff let us check in early, can see the room finishing very fast. 3. Place of Stay: 1.
The accommodation is located in the rear of the Bingcheng market, about 5 minutes walk to the market and delicious pho2000!
2. Once out of the street is a convenience store, walk 1 minutes There is a snack market, once you can eat the authentic snacks to eat.
3. No matter which attraction is convenient in the city centre, it is cheap to use grab or Uber to fare. Room Type: 1.
This time Live is 2+1 room: a double bed and a single bed (tour combination for three women), the room is not said to be particularly large, but has been very comfortable! 2. Very lucky to choose the room type with floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy the sun early in the morning. (It is recommended to arrive early to inquire about the room type with Windows) 3.
The bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub! Facilities: 1.

Excellent hotel at a very low price. The roof top pool and bar was the best. Very helpful staff aswell. Just make sure you ask for a room with a window as the room we were put in had none and was rather depressing with no actual day light.

Great location but felt like a 3 star hotel. Room was dark and gloomy. Best thing about the room was our shower. 3 star experience.

Every afternoon is 3 O ' afternoon tea, change dishes will not eat greasy.

Good location — near to ben thanh market and ben thanh food street. Every night the street beside ben thanh market turns into a night market. Also about 10 to 15 mins walk to Saigon Square. A 1min walk to Jolene Spa which was a good spa. Excellent customer service — was allocated a room at low floor and complained about the traffic noise after the first night. The hotel upgraded us to executive room on a high floor for the next 2 nights without any additional cost. A french style restaurant with nice breakfast and tea break that came with room. Price was moderate, value for money.

The hotel has very nice rooms, an amazing rooftop pool with great views and a very nice dining room for breakfast and afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and the omelette/pho chef was one of the friendliest hotel workers I have ever met!

Such a nice surprise to discover the complimentary afternion tea at the hotel. You can order freshly made banana flambe, waffles and crepes as well as a buffet of chocolate mousee, creme brulee, cake, some savoury things and fresh fruit.

This place provides comfortable services. Especially hotel employees are very very kind. Breakfast and afternoon tea also was great. Rooftop pool kept very clean. I think this place is cost-effectiveness in Ho Chi minh city.

I have just check out today… my stay from 19/5-22/5… I arrived in the morning n the staff BAO n another male staff I can say give excellent service… I book premier king bedroom with window. N both of them allow me to check in early… welcome drink was the best as the weather wa so hot… during my stay I can say all the staff although they cant speak much english but they are so polite… the restaurant staff also well trained… lastly yesterday I feel so weak… coz in just discharge from hospital in singapore… n I ask them to help me order halal delivery food as your restaurant doesnt serve halal food… with someone chronic diabetes I need to take my food in time… the lady in the counter ordered for me… n in 20mins the food arrived in my room… all I can say tq so much for the hospitality… I shall come again for holiday in november… grand silver land management u did a great excellent service… tq tq tq…

From the time we checked in, the staff have been very friendly and helpful, Mai at reception checked us in early as there were rooms available. Mai had an excellent command of English and as the first point of contact, made a very good impression.
I had reserved a no windows room, it was fine as it allowed for a more conducive environment for sleep, however the walls of the room seemed a little thin as you could hear bathroom noises from the room next door and sounds from the corridor. You couldn't hear actual words but rather sounds of activity; wasn't too bad as the room next door was not occupied till the last two days. I would've rated it a five star but for the thinness of the walls.
The daily buffet breakfast menu changed everyday for the five days we were there; except the bacon, sausages and baked beans, breads and freshly cooked eggs. The standard of spoken English amongst service staff other than those at reception wasn't as good as I had expected, but realized that I needed to speak slowly for them to understand me better. Still there were some things that just can't be slowed down to like, "I would like a cup of strong black coffee, no milk or sugar"; invariably I would get a weak cup of drip coffee. I ended up brewing strong drip coffee of my own in the room after breakfast.
Great location, just a block from Ban Thanh Market and lots of restaurants around the area.

Nice old art deco hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city next to the market. Good quality rooms, comfortable bed, exellent airconditioning. Avarage breakfast.

Good four star hotel as I stayed here for 2 weeks while on business. Would recommend to any business traveler in the area who looks for central location to District 1 (financial district) or tourists. Pros: • Great breakfast • Great complementary high-tea hour. • Unbeatable location for the price. • Good Wi-Fi •  Cons: • Evening staff is rather unhelpful • Bathroom toiletries' quality • Occasional inconsistency in room cleaning – would have to request for more body wash every 2 days rather than automatic refill.

Deep inside city center with good food. They have a rooftop pool but not the best view.

This makes a great landing place into Saigon. It’s got the charm of a boutique hotel and is reasonable priced. It sits in a great location, in the heart of a bustle area, and close to Ben Thanh market. There is a small pool on the roof, which closes early, and has a rather uninspiring view, but does provide a little oasis from the chaos.

The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa in Saigon should be best described as an excellent boutique hotel. At first I had difficultly assessing its overall aura. As we first approached hotel we noticed the high level of activity in the neighborhood. This is attributed to its location one block from the rear entrance of the Ben Thanh Market. Previously we spent time at both The Grand & Rex Hotels. The hub of activity in District 1 has now shifted to the area around the market. The location for all activities is excellent. It’s a good jumping off place while in Saigon. This Hotel really lives up to its reputation & glowing reviews. Everything you expect from an elite Boutique hotel is evident from the moment you hit the front desk. It is modern, well-decorated, and absolutely immaculate. Its staff led by the ever present & very personable front desk operations manager that transcends to smiling, energetic, and always helpful staffing individuals. A brief history of this hotel should be injected at this point. The hotel is a little over a year old. The Silverland Group contracted to manage this facility two months after it was built. As I was informed, the people of Vietnam own the land, the builder or developer contracts with the state to build the physical structure. Only one hotel in Saigon both built & manages its facility. This in part explains the few downsides to this facility. The fitness facility is small and needs to be relocated.
