Kon-Tiki DaNang Hostel Hostel

One of the best hostels I've been to yet. So much space, amazing, clean showers with good pressure, fast Wi-Fi, nice chill area. 5$ a night, and a home away from home. I could also rent a bike there, so very convenient. Will be revisiting if I'm in Da Nang again!

I felt like I stayed at home. Very welcoming and comfortable place. I will stay this hostel if I travel to Danang again.

Place to be in Da nang. Helpful staff, clean and model. They have a rooftop bar with great view face the river and the famous Dragon bridge. This place has a great travel community you want to meet when travelling.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, certainly the best in Vietnam. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds with private curtains, A/C, huge lockers, soap+shampoo in the shower, fridge full of well-priced beer and water at the front desk, laundry service, and really friendly + helpful people working here. They pointed me to the good food nearby and even helped me order. Beautiful roof top with a view. Manager Anh lives on-site and is always around to chat/give advice (with great English).

Kon-Tiki Hostel was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The rooms and showers were clean. The beds were so comfortable. It is in a great location, close to the water, Dragon Bridge and a market. There’s a beautiful rooftop terrace with plants and a great view of the city. What really made this hostel amazing was the wonderful staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home. The staff would walk with us to the best local places to eat, and then sit with us to chat and make sure we got the fair price. We had the best food for the cheapest price thanks to the staff here! And the staff are all so fun and easy to talk to, and so helpful in booking you motos or cars to help you get around. We miss them already! Great experience here and would highly recommend Kon-Tiki hostel and DaNang itself!

I travel a fair amount and rarely leave reviews, but this hostel and the staff merit me taking the time to share my experience. My friend and I stayed in a private room which was very spacious and clean. The beds were more comfortable than any other place that we’ve stayed in while in Vietnam. It even had its own mini-bar with refreshments at the same cost as buying on the street which was very convenient. The location is great because it is near the main road that runs parallel to the river and is very close to the head-side of the Dragon Bridge. If you are staying in the hostel Saturday or Sunday, be sure and walk to the bridge just before 21:00 and watch the dragon breathe fire. Also the bridge at night is a sight to see. This hostel is not walking distance to where most of the nightlife is, but it is a very short ride over the bridge to where most of the bars/clubs are, although there are still several places that are within walking distance of the hostel. To me, the best part of the hostel was the staff. All of the staff were friendly, always smiling, and they would take the time sit and talk if you had a moment to chat or needed to ask information about the area. Specifically An was extremely helpful with his knowledge of nearby attractions or good eats. Plus if you speak English, his English is very good and you can easily communicate with him (although we didn’t have trouble communicating with any of the staff).
