In this wonderful place I would like to come and have fun, but when you meet older women control in the theater, the mood immediately evaporates. Photos can be done only for a few minutes before the show, and after it's unreal, because it is all thrown out of the theater and put out the light! But the offer to come on tour, for the money that exceeds the cost of representation. This is outrageous! Indeed, many enter the theatre once, and I want to review the architecture of the theatre… and it turns out that this can be done during a performance, but then the very idea! In this case, grandmother-workers, rude and behave aggressively, vapaeva from the theater. We even the toilet did not have time to go, I had to go to a restaurant nearby. The experience is horrible!

I was in this theater in the first, went to the concert of Ponomarev, yes really theater is just magic, very beautiful. But there were became about him bad memories. I and my law stole purses there, in the toilets, after leaving it we found that there are none. Moreover, I am sure that it is the staff of the theater, because after the concert only in the women's toilets was turned off light, knowing that there will be a big queue. All people delighted with the performance, did not pay attention as in the dark they were digging at Sumachkah. In this building you are obliged to visit, especially if in Odessa for the first time. Such beauty you in Ukraine is not enough where you will find, especially in the style of classicism (I hope I do not confuse, and then do not want me here young connoisseurs of styles of architecture threw plinths or what they wielded). In general, there is no way to write about the merits of this building, so you should see it yourself. In a word-chic!
Well, and those geniuses who write here in parallel reviews of performances. Are you serious? Go and leave this your super important review on the page of the presentation itself (there on the billboard of Odessa, for example). And then just ruin the statistics of the theater. He must have five out of five!
P. S. Yes, Uporotye performances happen. For example, I ofigival from the idea why we went to the opera about Onegin, as the main role was played by a very quiet Armenian. I did not hear it at all, although they sang in Russian. And on the second part of the ballet Don Quixote I even fell asleep. But it does not make a minus to the theater itself, as it is beautiful!

Incredibly beautiful building, very huge and impressive. In the very Hall is very beautiful, and stylish. The whole interior is designed in strict accordance with the Classical Opera Theatre. The world-class opera House is no exaggeration! The visit left a lot of emotions and impressions! All guests of Odessa, visit is strictly obligatory!

We visited the New Year concert on December 30, 2017. Very disappointed. It seems that the concert is made hastily and lacks quality. The music is gorgeous, but the voices and the more text are not audible. What a blurred impression. They seemed to be in the theatre, the magnificent construction, the pride of the city. But neither mood nor pleasure received. Four years ago they were at such a concert under the new Year, then the director of the theater was Prokurnya. It was really dignified and very nice. In the beautiful building of the theater you want to see the same troupe.

An absolutely worth seeing highlight and dirt cheap at the same time! High quality ideas at the price of a butter bread! Wonderful architecture (outside and above all inside) is available free of charge!

The most beautiful theater in Eastern Europe. According to the law, the theatre has already 207 years as an elder among a number of its cultural institutions. Odessa got the right to build the theater in 1804 year (becoming the 3rd city with a theatre in the Russian Empire). The Viennese "Baroque" certainly amazes!  Stands out, of course, the "Royal" Lodge — in the center of the mezzanine right in front of the stage. The scene is not enough-500 m2.  The entrance to the theatre and cash desks is now from one central entrance, which is not very convenient. Would return as before-cash on the other side (another entrance). It would be very convenient. The price policy for the tickets are all happy. Repertoire is not bad-a lot of classics. A unique beautiful building. Definitely one of the first to visit places in Odessa. Groomed area around, fountains, benches. It's nice to walk. Just recommend to visit! The beauty is extraordinary. Theatre with a capital letter.  Mandatory to view inside! Do not forget to see their central staircase-a work of art!  There are two such theatres! In Odessa and in Vienna. In Odessa richer inside!  Friendly staff. Inexpensive tickets for performances.  The place is unique, taking into account today's trends, to get similar impressions there is nowhere else, the spirit captures from what side is not go near. Near a large fountain, just on the way to the Potemkin stairs, so that miss this beauty is not worth anyone-unequivocally!

Very beautiful building. Everyone needs to go there. Cheap tickets (3-4€ middle;best seats about 10€) ) and interesting perfomances. Important to buy tickets some days before if you want better seats. Of course you can try to get tickets some minutes before perfomance. Recommend it.

Absolute sight. Impressive architecture. Dedicated orchestra, good chorus, some soloists have an expressive voice, ballet traditionally on a technically high level, stagings traditional-conservative. Entrance tickets cost a fraction of what you have to do in Germany. I've looked at the complete schedule. Audience unfortunately often uncultivated. The auditorium is illuminated during the presentation of many mobile phones. People surf during the performance on the Internet, write text messages, post on Facebook… Noise level is quite high.
