Great view of Charlotteville.

Everything is right across and so close to our villa, such as the swimming pool, the beach, activity center, bar and restaurant, the Market Place, and the dock for the catamaran tours. The resort is so friendly to disabled persons. My husband was able to rent a wheelchair. But since everything is so close to the villa, he really did not need the wheelchair.

Had a great stay, the beach is wonderful, and with the activities right there you don't have to leave the property unless you want to!

If you’re doing a sales pitch, do NOT buy into it. I paid $62k+ last year to be Presidential status and my family is being treated like they have the lowest status. Do NOT believe their sales team or their staff! It’s simply not worth the money!

Stunning location! Direct beach access. Snorkel right at the property. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant with great happy hour. Delicious drinks! convenient marketplace for essentials. Always an amazing vacation!

It’s a great Marriott Time Share. Small with lots of activities for the whole family. View from rooms amazing. 2 bedroom apartments, Spacious enough for 6 of us to sleep comfortably. Love it!

Great access to the beach and some awesome snorkeling. Every room is ocean view and it's facing the sunset, so no blinding wake-ups! Why stay anywhere else?

Another great stay at Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove. Loved the 3-bedroom villas, the floating mats in the ocean, drinks (and food) from the bar, but most of all loved traveling with my friends and meeting so many great people!

My family of 7 had a wonderful time. Room was beautiful. Really wouldn’t have to leave the resort. Great food. Beautiful pool and beach area. My grandchildren had a ball.

Our 2 bedroom unit is nice from the inside but the walls are so thin that you hear everything! No peace! It’s awful! LOUD! On top of it we had problems with the employees mainly Front Desk, security „ manager“ and male Fitness center attendant.
Rude and very bad attitude. Unacceptable. Upon check in I was told by Front Desk that Fitness center was 24 hours. Only to find out that when I got to the gym is closed at 9pm! WHAT?!?! The worst was the way I was treated! Security „ manager“ and gym attendant rude, no apology from Front Desk Lady.
I really wanted to work out so I said I would clean after, nobody was in there.
As if covid can’t happen between the hours of 9pm and 6am!?! So dumb!
They didn’t offer any problem solution nothing! Last night I called for an extra blanket for my 10 year old son.
Front Desk just said with rudely that housekeeping was gone so NO!

This place was amazing. This was our first time to St Thomas and can't imagine staying anywhere else. Our room was immaculate, the view was beautiful, and great amenities on site. Although all of this was great, it was the people who made it that much more special. There was not one unpleasant unfriendly person and it seemed to be truly genuine. (Im referring to the staff and locals. Not the visitors as much) the only thing I would change is getting a car. It's very expensive to always go by cab and ferry, but when I remember this place is rebuilding after devastating hurricanes, I was glad to help their economy. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We experienced an amazing time here. My daughter and I were fortunate to tag along on my husband's business trip to St. Thomas, USVI, and this is where we had the pleasure of staying. The first night, they hosted a movie watch night on the big screen by the pool for the little ones, which was great! They offered a lot of different activities. It is a family-friendly beach front property, and the ease of access to the water and waves made it worth the price. We were in a 2-bed/2-bath suite with a full kitchen and living area. It was roomy and really nice, with good customer service to boot.

Frenchman's Cove on St. Thomas, USVI, was a truly a great experience and worth the money. The people were friendly, the room was very nice and comfortable for the six of us. The bar tenders made good drinks, try to get their early for the 2 for 1 happy hour, and the food was good! The property was beautiful and the beach water was clear, clear enough to see the sea urchins so you don't step on them! We really had fun doing the turtle swimming as well as the night time kayaking! I would recommend to anyone to spend your hard earned money to vacation at this resort.

We were spending the night on the way to the bvi. The room was perfect (squeezed 4 adults and 3 kids into a 2 bedroom). Could walk to the beach and restaurant. Service at restaurant was super slow (island time), but the staff at desk was fantastic. They greeted us with rum punch and surprised us with a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The beach and pool area was nice and the kids loved the inflatable climbing pyramid in the water.

Friendly staff, great amenities, and beautiful setting makes for a great vacation spot. Near-by restaurants and shopping makes it convenient. Recommend to anyone looking for an island vacation.

There are several condos in the timeshare. If you are assigned to St. John or other condos in the back, it takes a long walk or two elevator ride to go down to the pool/beach. There are too many people sun bathing in the pool area and none of them swim in the pool. The beach is okay but there are lots of rocks on the shallow ends. Once you go past them, the beach is fine. There are some rock piles to the right of the beach where you can snorkel and see some Caribbean fishes. For the condo, the door knob on the patio door is broken, there is a missing bulb in the ceiling fan light, one of the alarm clocks is broken, the 9V battery on the other is dead so it can't keep the time if the power is down, the internet lost it's connection every time the power goes out that requires reconnection all the times, the GE microwave needs some kind of connection to the stove in order to be able to set the clock unless the power is out for a while or you unplug it, the fans in the bathrooms are the cheapest ones you can find and they are extremely loud, the water pressure on the shower is very low. The condo has a low ceiling and without a garbage disposal. I hate the TV setup. You can't use the menu in the TV cause it's locked, you have to use the remote with the strange setup that they have. There are many channels but some including all except one HBO channels are low quality. I like the two bedroom suites with good sunset view.

Great resort, a bit pricey but lots of activities and a great spot to take excursion and meet other travelers.

This is one of the nicer Marriott properties we've stayed at. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. I do wish that the public shops were more easily accessible that you didn't need a taxi or water taxi to get out of the property. The only place to eat is the poolside grille. The Marriott hotel next door was closed for repairs from the hurricane. The menu is limited so you find yourself wanting something different really quickly. With cab fare to the town less than half a mile at $8 per person one way, it gets expensive fast. They should convince the government to build sidewalks or provide shuttle service.

We Visited Frenchman's Cove In May 2018, We had a trip booked for over a year and we were worried about visiting after the hurricanes and putting more strain on the island. The Resort itself appeared as though nothing had happened Besides a piece of a boat which had landed in the pool, over the bar. We had an amazing trip and they took good care of us!

Great location, wonderful grounds! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are really enjoying our stay here.

Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove — REOPENED February 16, 2018 after damage from Hurricane Irma. Visitors and hotel owners are able to use the pool and hot tub. The beach is cleared and open for use, the pier is fully restored, the restaurant and Marketplace are open and operating and the resort activities department is operating normally. Relief workers will continue to work on landscaping and other projects, including painting buildings in the resort over the next several weeks.

A day in Paradise is a day in Frenchman's Cove. Our family says it was the best vacation ever. Beautiful accommodations. Warm and friendly staff.

Top notch service. Room's are spacious and clean. Staff is above and beyond. If you're debating whether to go, don't.

Amazing, went down there for a sailing trip and stayed here our first night, huge rooms with great views, fully equipped kitchen, we made dinner in the room. The poolside area is full of things to do including a trivia night, pool table, and pool and beach with water slide and inflatables. The beach however has one problem, there are thousands of sea urchins littering the shallow water outside of the designated channel, though a sign is posted, I thought I would take my chances and fell prey to these creatures. Ov.

This is one of the most visited hotels in the Caribbean. It’s well worth the designation as the most frequented visited resort for destination weddings. The location, view and accommodating staff make this a real gem.

The view alone is worth the stay. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The front desk could not have been nicer. Two staff members delivered s bottle of wine to our room. Everyone was friendly and eager to help with our day to day plans. Even the maintenance man who came to adjust our AC gave us a dinner recommendation. We took the boat tour of the BVI. While expensive was a wonderful experience and it's a great way to see all the islands. Enjoy St John too. Such beauty in the islands at the coastline. Rent a car it gives you a lot of freedom to explore. Restaurants at resort, the Reef next door and restaurants in town were excellent. My favorite was Banana Tree. Food and view were top notch. We are definitely coming back. A memorable stay for sure.

The staff are not very enthusiastic about their positions. But the views are incredible, the rooms (the side with a view) are nice and the outdoor bar/pool are accommodating. Their staffing is a buzz kill so I will only award 3 stars because the experience really could be so much better.

If you're comparing Frenchman's Cove with Frenchman's Reef the main difference (other than one is a timeshare full of condo style Villas) is the lack of pretension. With the more laid back energy also comes a bit lower level of customer service than what many Marriott guests are used to. We stayed for 8 nights and our kids loved the pool, waterslide and beach. We jumped off the dock, played on the mats (the floating trampoline is gone) and climbed the floating iceberg. If you can, get one of the buildings fronting the water and a high floor for amazing sunset views. The $22 cheese pizza was the best 'bang for your buck' food item at the on site restaurant. Overall a great stay.

It's beautiful, the staff here are amazing. While some activities are provided by the resort, overall there is not much to do and the pool/beach is all there is to do (on the resort). Getting a rental car was great, the parking isn't bad, it'd usually within a few feet from the elevators. The kitchen area is very nice, the appliances must be newer, but there are some things that appear more dated. It's a nice place, but if you are coming for the beach — the one at the Marriott Hotel just down the road is far nicer (less rocky) ( (the pool there isn't as nice though) ). And the bar is directly adjacent to the pool, so happy hour is announced and they'll bring your drinks to you in the pool area! P. S. Look at restaurant menus before you go to one. Havana Blue (located on Marriott property) is avg. $30-40 a person and the food is mediocre. Most restaurants seem to close early so be wary.

Nice hotel, but very light on the service. 15 mins in line to check in, and another 20 mins to get our room … at 5:15. Nice property, rooms, views. Comfortable beds.

Fantastic time share property. The beach and there pool are so close together it's easy to transition between them. Nice activities for adults and kids. Staff was attentive and the pool side restaurant was good.

Stayed there for 1 week on 2/2016 GREAT place views from timeshare were amazing. Timeshare layout is amazing we had a 2 bedroom SO SO SO nice. Had a problem with the safe. Dont stuff to much in it but the repair man got it open after a lot of work he was real nice to us. Amazing place love to stay there again. A bit pricey we rented from the owner for $2500 for the week but its way better than the hotel that's like $400 per night and you dont get a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. This place is 5 stars all the way. NO use of kayaks or sailboats or anything… but you can go to the ritz and get a daypass for $65 and go on all those things… and dont have the pay the huge premium for the ritz. Overall great place would stay there again.

After ENJOYING our 2 week stay at Frenchman's Cove last November, we immefiately booked another vacation here this year! It is TRULY like being in Paradise! Gorgeous views from our villa. Watching the cruise ships come in. The beach, pools, restaurants are SPECTACULAR.

We had a fantastic time in st Thomas and it was because of Jessica Kennedy she is AMAZING! We were so happy with everything she did to help us have a great time! Jessica will always be our go to gal in st Thomas! Thankyou so much for all you did to help us enjoy everything in st Thomas.

We visited the resort for 4 nights in August. Absolutely beautiful, friendly helpful staff, plenty of pools to hang by, a wonderful beach area too. Highly recommended.
