The midland is beautiful. Full of character. Staff were helpful and service was good. I didn't even hear a peep from other guests despite sharing a floor with a Welsh rugby team lol.

Lovely Victorian building which has kept alot of its character. Meals and snacks are lovely. The staff can't do enough for you very helpful and friendly.

Had a lovely meal at the midland hotel, the staff were great the food was delicious. My Desert was lemon cheesecake with strawberries. But when it arrived I asked to have strawberries removed as I am allergic and bless them they brought out a whole new one with raspberries Out of 10 we would give 8 simply because access for wheelchair user is awkward doors heavy, not clear which way to go from front door. Also menu not very large. Only 4 choices. Overall though we would go back.

Amazing decor & ambiance, very stylish. Pleasantly laid back & unobtrusive staff compared to some Bradford hotels. Slightly out of the town centre and entrance is a little difficult to spot after a night out, spot on otherwise. Will stay again!

Beautiful hotel spacious rooms wide corridors amazing sweeping staircase. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar area lovely and service excellent. Quality of breakfast not as good as it used to be. Food on cold side (especially baked beans and toast ' rubbery ') Danish pastries dry unappetizing. Having said this I will still use the hotel because the general experience is so good.

Attended for an afternoon business team meeting. Room was large enough for 6 of us round a table. We were in the Midland room. Didn't need flip charts or projectors so can't comment on this. Sandwiches were provided as arranged. Ok choice no vegans in the group so can't comment on that. Had to ask for a flask of hot water and decaf coffee for those who wanted it. Otherwise was a flask of coffee and tea already made up provide. Good service overall that meet our needs on the day.

Great staff, very helpful with our enquiry. The building decor is classical. This is not your modern day prefab hotel… Its much more grand.

I stayed at the hotel for the New year's eve party I was disappointed with the customer service. The hotel had run out of one of the lagers which was not very professional and when I asked the barman for their reasons he said I will try this pump for you. I got a pint which had cleaning fluid in it fortunately I noticed or it might have been serious. Also we didn't get the coffee at the end of the meal not a big deal except the staff didn't seem to be bothered. I complained to reception in the morning and the girl said she was sorry and she would get the bar manager to ring me which he never did. We have been to the Midland for the last two years but I think I will be looking for somewhere else this year. The amount of money we paid for the night I expected better.

First time at this hotel. Kind of old fashioned hotel but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the porridge. Also, probably the only girl I know of that offers you a glass of wine when you check in.

I suspect I was in an older part of the hotel. Room had two narrow single beds, a tiny television, a shower over a bath and no Wi-Fi. Paper was peeling off the walls and the trouser press didn't work. Felt like it hadn't been updated since the 1980s. Staff very helpful and pleasant though and breakfast was ok at least.

Love the place we go there anytime we can great device as always from Kate and Phil best hotel in Bradford by a country mile not just a hotel a great place for drinks and food John hanbury.

I attended for a work Xmas party. The staff were all very friendly and the food was good. More bar staff would be a good idea though.

We had a very nice meal in the Midlands Hotel The staff were courteous and the service was good. The menu wasn't extensive but adequate. Would go again.

This hotel reeks a certain much desired calm and quiet in the heart of of Bradford, with Forster Square train station within walking distance, literally. The hotel has a certain elegance and class to it which is a much needed environment in a city trying hard to modernise itself. The night staff are pleasant too. Meals are also worth a second helping.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing historical building, nice hotel bar, and the eponymous Spirit of Bradford bar and its unique mural. Also, truly beautiful at Christmas time.

Had a work conference dinner at hotel. The room was great and the staff were friendly and professional. A little difficulty finding the room we were in, but that might be more a comment on our own intelligence than on the hotel. The food was of a reasonably high quality, but the fishcake starter was exceedingly good.

This place never fails to impress. Great staff. Clean throughout. Food is second to none. Beautiful rooms (book one with a jacuzzi :) it's worth it. Their Event Dinner / Dances are exquisite. I was here for the Teach meet event. Staff was super helpful and directing me to the venue and were able to answer all my questions about the event l. I was very impressed. Will look to book this hotel again when I do a teach meet. 5* from me.

Conveniently located next to train station. Rooms have received a much needed upgrade since my last visit. Beds pleasant enough and I had a good night's sleep. Great ballroom for holding events and celebrations. Service is of a decent standard albeit a bit slow. Breakfast below expectations. Overall an OK stay and not too expensive.

Used the bar just after lunch. Staff were very difficult to come by. The hotel itself looks quite nice but upon closer inspection much of the decoration is quite tired.

Very good hotel has real charm. Great staff with a good family feel.

The Midland Hotel is very convenient to the train station and will be in a good location for the new Westfield's shopping centre due to open in 2015. As for the hotel, the lobby was nice, but the sofa and chairs needed a real clean or replacing. Our room was very tired with stains on all of the upholstery. I took the upholstered pillows and cover off of my bed immediately. Would I stay there again? Maybe, but I would look around at other options first. Clearly I didn't get one of the rooms in the snazzy photographs.

Comfortable room, so nice we decided to stay another day. Barman was extremely helpful and kind. Reception was also pleasant. Would recommend.

It was our first visit to Bradford and we were very impressed, wonderful architecture and friendly people. On arrival at hotel we were greeted with a smile and warm conversation. The room was perfect and I experienced one of the best nights sleep in a hotel for a long time. The only let down was breakfast, it was a disaster, the buffet just does not work and the items were cold and of poor quality :0 (The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful but confused, nobody seemed to be in charge!. Change the breakfast experience and 5 stars are achievable. Thankyou all for our Bradford experience.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Midland Hotel, I found it very clean and comfortable so I would be glad to stay there again when I visit Bradford.

My wife and I went there on Saturday 5th July. We had drinks before and after dinner in the bar. We were served in the most polite and professional way by a young man called Rich, his service and the general standard of the hotel was 1st class. It added to our enjoyable evening. Booked direct on line and got a great deal. Loved the staff, bar food and rooms. Great location for rail travellers and right in the City centre without being to noisy etc. Spent more time in the hotel than out but Bradford seems like a really nice place and the hotel in the middle of it. I'd stay again and have already bored colleagues about it but its so nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character / soul rather than another american corporate box.
