Very simplyou furnished hotel. But clean and everything worked well. A very good walk in shower.

Awful… staff were extremely rude… be mindful if your child just picks up your breakfast (a parents single breakfast) a piece of toast youll be charged full f***king whack for it. May staff look as though theyre locked up in a prison with cold grim faces… being eyed on constantly even at a long distance down corridoors … felt like was in an open prison…

Lives up to it's reputation as a budget hotel, not enough room for a big suitcase, a place to stay if you have an over night bag. Breakfast pleasantly adequate.

Good for a budget hotel. Stayed here as we were going to a gig nearby. Staff were helpful. Rooms were fine but maybe need a bit of an update. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food.

Ideal place to stay nice rooms clean, close to Bradford city centre, railway station across the road and hungry horse next door, great.

Spacious rooms for a budget hotel, large breakfast area, small bar with pool table and lounge area. The rear of the building backs onto the Leeds Liverpool canal and is a short walk from site seeing areas in Saltaire. There's also a family oriented restaurant next-door and the Shipley town center and shopping is a short walk South up the hill.

The hotel is in a good location for Shipley & surrounding area, is clean, good comfortable bedrooms & good breakfasts. Staff are very pleasant and had a very enjoyable stay.

Really good hotel in a good location. The hungry horse pub next door has a good selection of meals at realy fair prices.

It was a lovely friendly hotel nothing was too trouble for all the staff it was spotless and there was everything u needed also was very dog friendly too I would definitely Stay again.

Good value. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Located close to Saltaire and nearby restaurants.

Basic but comfortable, free Wi-Fi and my room had a view of the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Only one bin and that was in the bathroom. The area was nice and quiet though, a great night's sleep.

Very impressed with this hotel, having paid less than £40 for a room wasn't expecting much. Arrived late Friday night was welcomed by a nice older chap easy check in explained how things worked and where our room was. He also provided us 2 free drinks for to me having a silver membership. Checkout was as easy as dropping the key in a box when leaving. Nice staff throughout and very comfy bed! Would recommend.

Lovely location on the canal, Staff could not have been more helpful, Great breakfast buffet was not, plentiful and something for all. Weekend late breakfast and check out. Would definitely recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very good booking in process with helpful friendly reception staff that quickly dealt with a large group. Spacious clean bedrooms with good large accessible shower. Continental and cooked breakfast options were fine if a little cramped in setup. Large car park and good central location.

My brother & nephew & neice stayed there at the weekend in a family room. Looked ok, room quite bare, a bit drab, but clean, apart from the stench of farts permeating the first floor… I visited & we played pool in the bar for a while. Coke was served in the little glass bottles which is a plus, however a game of pool was 2x50p, which seems somewhat excessive. My brother had a cup of tea which appeared ok. And that's about it really… Oh, they have cctv controlled parking which is nice, albeit a little disturbing. One uses the tablet at reception to enter one's registration number to receive a reprieve from the otherwise inevitable fine. However, upon entering the first 2 digits of mine, it knew the rest! A time saver to be sure, but proof indeed that big brother is watching. Be ye afraid, for ye knows not when (insert prophet of your choice) is watching. Even when you're having a wee. And "that" is indeed "it".

Stayed 3 days was lovely, great vibe. Staff were so friendly. Nothing was too much. Everything you need in one place. Bed was amazing. And the views… what more can you ask for with a cannal on your back door step. My only feedback would be a plug socket near the bed. But you guys are definitely more than a 2 star hotel. Thanks.

It's a budget hotel but does what it should very well. The rooms are big enough the beds are comfortable, the staff offer typical northern hospitality. The kitchen facilities are pretty limited but they still offer a good continental and cooked breakfast, plus a choice in the evening. All in all if you are used to 5 star luxury you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for good value and comfortable then it ticks all the boxes.

Nice hotel, room was very well presented. Shower was good. TV was modern and supported HDMI. Bed was OK. Not too many facilities around the hotel, but not far to go into the middle of Shipley.

Very clean, spacious room. There were plenty of car parking spaces. Check out at 12 o'clock. Would definitely use again.

Bed is far too firm and uncomfortable. Pillows scratchy and no give. Hairdryer broken. Had to ask for more towels-no hand towel at all and no staff to bring them to the room. One packet of biscuits for 2 people despite asking on the second night. Room smelled of toilet throughout and nothing staff could do.

Standard Ibis, clean and functional. Plenty of free parking. Friendly chatty staff. Breakfast a bit basic (would have been good to have non-veggie sausages), but everything else was fine. No problems about staying again.

Great location, near train station, comfortable rooms, bathroom has shower, tea/coffee making facilities, and good selection of national and international television channels on the television provided.

It is a standard Ibis. The price is good against comparators. If you are visiting with things to do, it is ideal, for singles or families. Especially for Salts Mill and Hockney gallery. Staff very friendly and efficient. I had made consecutive bookings and they had already organised that. Bar in reception/ dining area is pleasant enough for the casual visitor: it is not intended as a dining/ party venue. They seem to have installed the new Ibis beds and renewed carpets etc. Breakfast is unimaginative but value for money. Ibis always has good coffee.

Cheap rate yes, but shower is tepid not hot. Had a 4hr drive from London looking for hot food from bar just after midnight, attitude from bar person was terrible, ask for hot snack and he replied sternly "if you must"! I myself is in catering management if any of my staff talk to customer in that tone they will be sent home straight away. The hotel obviously wanted to entice customers with a glossy brochure that states hot food 24/7, but forgotten the fundamental rule of hotel and catering profession. Humbleness. They would be better off with a vending machine.

Perfectly decent hotel for the price. Clean and tidy. The lift is not in good condition, I recommend the stairs.

Very convenient and comfortable — surprisingly quiet with hardly any traffic noise. Comfortable beds and genuine human beings at the front desk and breakfast bar. No robots. Stayed 5 or 6 times now and will continue to do so.

This hotel seems to be a hotbed for swinging couples and a place business men bring hookers. Kept awake all night by creaking bedsprings and found traces of man batter on my bed sheets.
