Nothing to fault. Clean functional room. Quiet and air conditioning. Plenty of hot water for showers. Comfy bed. We asked for extra pillows and Sebastian on the evening reception could not have been more helpful. Breakfast plentiful and attentive staff filling it up constantly. Would stay again.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful 3 night stay we had this weekend … after the initial surprise at how 'compact' the rooms were we settled in for our stay… 4 of us in 2 twin rooms, our age range 56 to 88! And we had a wonderful time in company with such lovely people … this included the staff who were beyond accommodating, filling our every need and going above and beyond the usual line of duty to do so… and always with a smile! Thankyou for helping us make some lovely memories.

The staff were very pleasant, the room was clean. This hotel is VERY basic, think caravan and you won't be far off. If you book late, expect to pay well over £100.

Great hotel. Really inexpensive. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. Staff were friendly. Beds and pillows very clean and comfy. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed last night at the ibis budget hotel and was really happy, room was clean and bed was comfy. Yes you don't get tea and coffee facilities in the room but apart from that it was fine, the staff were welcoming and I would stay there again.

Check in very easy. Staff all lovely. Hotel close to arena. Room very clean. Shower small but useable. No noise from hotel. No kettle etc in room. Reception sells snack, drinks which is ideal. After been at the arena went back to hotel order a pizza from reception which is done onsite. Very nice pizza. Would stay at hotel again. Ideal for location. Slept very well.

Good, budget hotel. Well suited for sleeping. Breakfast is also good. The rooms are small but serve their purpose.

Exactly what I needed for a quick stop. The staff were amazingly polite. Great service all round.

Nice Hotel as always.
I like that I always have the same layout of the room because so at night it makes me less foreign.
The quality is always correct for the prices they cost.
Breakfast is not special and a bit pricey for what you can choose.

. Me & my two friends needed to book somewhere fast so was a bit dubious as to what this would be like as it was the only cheap hotel room left in the area. The room was very clean & included a two person bed, a single bed (over the double bed), TV, table, toilet, shower, clothing rail & full length mirror. We stayed over for one night & it cost roughly £38 each (around £110 altogether).

Very very basic, but very cheap, staff are friendly and helpful though. I would have given it a higher rating, but the bed was rock hard, you only get one pillow and the third bunk bed wasn't even made. (Sorry Ibis)

No and tea n coffee facilities in room, and had to pay £4 for parking. Breakfast was just toast n cereals no cooked breakfast. If you want a hairdryer you had to rent one, to get up to your room you had to swipe you room key for the lift and and had to wait a long time for the lift. The bed was to low down and not comfortable My overall experience was horrible and won't stay here again.

Petty thieves! They charge £4 a day for parking but don't guarantee a space. It's not hard to do simple maths. 30 spaces and 30 paid guests = no more space. So why charge if I can't park at the end of the day when it matters?! For £1 more you can park at Premier Inn across the road. Might be worth staying there next time… The room is not bad, very basic and very small. Toilet is ridiculously small, both knees are squished against the wall when sitting and the shower is so small there is no room to bend or move around much. A porta loo has more room than this place. Never staying again.

We stayed here and never again. Room had a horrible smell. Window lock was broken so the window could be opened fully. The floor was like a spring board, also the bed was like lying on concrete. Reserved a ground floor room online to arrive and be told none are available and paid for parking and got told not to go out in the car as my space isnt reserved… worse experience ever. Never again.

Great place to stay! Lovely staff and breakfast at a great price. Could not be asking for more! Highly recommended!

Really welcoming reception. Rooms were pleasant and simply furniture's. All amenities were working apart from the toilet light so had to keep the door open. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay and I would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed here recently found everything to satisfaction. Clean room, helpful staff, no noise. Great location to arena. Came down late for breakfast and the receptionist even sorted me some cornflakes out.

Very simple and very cheap. I cannot recommend the hotel if you like luxuries. It is very simple. The rooms were clean and tidy and I would it to be very quite. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The place is great for the price. Rooms look modern and are functional. Wi-Fi works well. Love the snacks in reception. The only down size is the beds. Way too firm for me and found it very to get comfy. Shame really.

I know its budget but a bit grim. Fabric of the building could be better. Wrestled with the window to close it as snow was coming in… took a considerable amount of force and lifting to do so. All you can eat buffet breakfast… few pieces of bread and ham and possibly chicken… not overly impressed…

Excellent stay. Budget room but was much better than I envisaged. Very clean, tidy, hot powerful shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and the staff are lovely. The rooms are what you pay for. I'm in a wheelchair and I always manage in the rooms. We stay if there's a concert on that we want to go to. The tram is a short walk away next to Valley Centertainment which has some good pubs and restaurants.

Impressed with welcoming check in staff. Hotel car park good. Compact room as expected for budget hotel, clean and well maintained. No kettle in room but drinks available in lobby. Sitting on the bed with the duvet on, it felt firm but ok. However upon getting into the bed there was absolutely no padding between the springs of the mattress and the thin material of the mattress cover, therefore every metal spring could be felt, making it so uncomfortable that I was unable to sleep. Maybe this particular mattress in room 404 needs replacing or are all the beds that uncomfortable? Would have been please with a basic budget stay had the bed been a little more comfortable in order to be able to sleep.

Location not particularly convenient, but at least on a major bus route. Reviews said you provided meals, but these were limited to pizza boxes (which in fact were not bad). Clean, comfortable room, although I would have liked to be able to boil a kettle to make tea. Staff polite and friendly.

First impression at reception was really good, nice clean space & really helpful friendly staff, lift & corridors were also good — opened the door to what I imagine a prison cell to be like! Room was incredibly smelly, had to be moved to another room that smelt slightly better, floor was sticky & room could not be cooled down. Not bad for one night but wouldn't return.

Stayed here while on urgent family business in the city. We needed flexibility in our booking arrangements and the manager, Marco and his staff made it all very easy for us. This was most appreciated at a difficult time when we had a lot of other things we needed to focus on. These are really nice people who went out of their way to help us — Thanks to all of them from my wife and me!

I've stayed at this Ibis a few times now. Always pleased with the cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate for business trips. Free internet is great. I arrived on a motorbike and was allowed to park for free, so that was great too — many thanks for that. Staff are friendly and hard-working.

Your staff were friendly, very helpful. The room was adequate for purpose. Everything was spotlessly clean which is important to me. Breakfast was ok. Not a great choice but certainly adequate. If I had to offer one observation without any malice whatsoever it would be to remind staff on breakfast duty that the internal staff/management issues would be best aired in private rather than in the hearing of guest. But it wasn't a problem for me, just a bit unprofessional. Would I stay again? Yes, probably.

We were staying after a concert. The only 'budget' thing about this hotel is the room. They were tiny, see through shower doors were awkward when sharing with a mate. And the beds were rock hard. All of his would have been a bigger problem if we'd been there more than one night. How they think they can call this room big enough for three people I've no idea! I've stayed in better rooms for less money. The reception fridge wasn't stocked enough for the amount of people they knew would be arriving. But location made it easy for us and the staff were friendly.

Only stayed the one night, slept great. Bed was cosy, room was a good size, was warm plus you get your own control over the air conditioner. Only complaint would be the noise from the windows that don't quite close all the way, the shower is actually in the room and the handle is basically a peep hole the toilet door is LOUD, so going in the night wakes up anyone in the room and no coffee/tea facility in the room. But for the price and the location I would definitely stay again.

Very basic rooms and limited car parking, decent prices if book far enough in advance and not expecting anything but otherwise for only slightly more can find much better accommodation nearby.

Average budget hotel, parking spaces can't be reserved if your travelling by car. The toilet and shower were very small, had a clinical feel to the place.

Loved this place. Really got into the easily readily pot noodles. Me and my missus had everything we needed for a few nights nights away. We even had a cabin above the bed.

Brilliantly cheap and well located, I used to come here to knock off a married bird once a week or so and we never had a bad time here. Ideal place for a torrid affair :)

Great for its price- TV with decent channels, big room itself, nice breakfirst as well as the basics.

The hotel definitely has the right idea, modern, clean and cheap. The Wi-Fi could be a little speedier (0.5mbps up/down) and two pillows on arrival would be nice. Breakfast was standard (£4.50), probably worth it because you can keep going back up.

Rooms nice and clean, staff friendly and only £4 for secure parking. Hotel is situated 2min walk from mktorpoint arena and 5 from the imax. Excellent for £22 a room. All you can eat buffet breakfast for £5 or £5 for all you can eat breakfast at Harvester too.

Essentially, this is an absolute bargain for the price. What it may lack is style or premium, the staff make up for it by going out of their way to care for you and deliver an excellent service for the low price. The beds were decent and the air con a little confusing however at half the price of the nearest hotels it is definitely worth considering.

9 months ago A group of us from Germany and London stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for a week and the experience was very good. It was clean and the staff were friendly amd helpful. The only setback was that they ran out of bath rugs for the bath room. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was simple but ok. We are planning to return this year. Pauline and Co.
