Wouldn't stay here again. Short term accommodation is their sideline. Bed is terrible. Room wasn't cleaned for whole stay. You're basically staying in the student flats they couldn't rent. Ours was beside rubbish storage so every night around 11 a wee man would come by to do the cardboard and look in the window. That storage also had some fans running all night. Full of young students.
Abysmal. Predatory contract. Destroyed my health. A member of the flat was having drunken gatherings after nights out (usually around 3AM) roughly three times a week (including during exam weeks), playing loud music, vandalising and stealing other tenants personal property, and eventually literally running down the corridor knocking on doors in the middle of the night deliberately antagonising the rest of us. This ruined my sleep pattern, severely affected my ability to concentrate on studies, and eventually resulted in me having panic attacks due to sleep deprivation. No meaningful action was taken by the administration despite numerous complaints from multiple members of the flat — Even after explicitly stating I could not continue to live there and would have to drop out, and literally begging them to do something. Eventually had to take a 12 month leave of absence from Uni. Another tenant (living next door to the antisocial tenant) also had to leave mid way through their academic year. Despite this they made me jump through every (seemingly made up on the spot) hoop imaginable, gaslighting me at every stage, and made it nearly impossible to get released from my contract. They take rent in 4 month instalments and I was only a few weeks into the current instalment when I left, but I had to fight every step of the way to not actually have to PAY EXTRA in order to leave.
