Been here many years, excellent food very clean and friendly.

What an absolute find! Last minute decision to eat in Robin Hoods Bay, and a quick Google search brought up this restaurant. Table was booked and we were shown to our table in a really beautifully and tastefully decorated little side room. General online menu looked good but we were really very impressed with the choice once at our table. We have two children and were expecting a typical kids menu but were very impressed that they so offer smaller portions of some of the main menu. Everything was delicious! My husband is very partial to bouillabaisse and was extremely pleased with his. My eldest and I had the seafood risotto and both of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Youngest son had home made fish fingers which were delicious by all accounts. The wine was perfect for what we were eating. And the service was second to none! The two members of staff we met were lovely and very accommodating. Overall it was a wonderful experience and has made us want to go back for another visit soon.

Just got back from whitby stated at the Bramblewick guest house absolutely superb, room was spotless bathroom en suit was clean, towels provided good choice of breakfast. Host Dave and Sue very welcoming. Will be booking again very soon highly recommended.

Tranquil and petite restaurant with beautiful food. Would only reccomend for food if you like fish as this makes up the majority of the menu. Good selection of wines aswell.

Enjoyed a drink outside in the glorious weather we've recently had. Limited selection of beers though. It's really just Moretti! Pleasant enough as long as you get a table outside. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food but enjoyed nonetheless.

Fabulous food and service.

Lovely accommodation but we had the attic room which was a bit of a hike for a 54 yr old smoker (My fault not the owners) but once up there the view of the abbey and sea was great. The room was nicely decorated and was spotless, bathroom was a decent size. Breakfast was brilliant, tasty and plentiful. Position is excellent. Overall, well worth 5/5.

The food was excellent! fresh, not over complicated with great flavours. Service was fantastic and friendly and a great atmosphere throughout. I would highly recommend it!

We stayed here over two nights and were delighted with the accomodation, food and general service. As the building is apparently 300 years old you will need to bear in mind if you stay here that the ceilings are low in places and also that the stairway down from the hotel section to the restaraunt gets very narrow so if you are a more 'rotund' person you might feel embarassed. The food was superb and beautifully presented with a specialism in sea food. The biggest drawback is that there is no parking near the hotel. You have to park at the top of the village and walk down the steep slope with your bags or risk taking your car down to unload being prepared to move it if anyone wishes to get past.

Excellent food and excellent service really enjoyed the stay very friendly. Had the mussels and hake cooked to perfection.

Only had drinks here but the service was great and it was a really nice location to sit outside in a busy summer night. The menu looked pricey but good.

Fantastic place to stay Dave And Sue are so welcoming. The room was of very high standards Exceptional cleanliness throughout The Breakfast was gorgeous We only stayed the weekend but will book here again when we come back to Whitby Thankyou again.

Utterly excellent. Delicious, fresh food, well presented in elegant surroundings by polite and helpful staff. If thieves been to The Marine inn Whitby, … this is even better!

We sat opposite whilst having a drink but it looked lovely and will definitely go next time.

I would give the food not even one star my daughter had chicken nuggets chips and beans and has been unwell since eating at Bramblewick I had a pitta with chicken n chips which I left most of as I didn't enjoy it. The hot chocolates tasted more like water. I spent £25! May have been one of my worst spends in the school holidays and I feel ruin the trip to robin hoods bay. Would never go back. I hate leaving poor reviews but when ur 6year old is unwell I think other need to be informed of the poor quality of the food.
