Saxon Villa is a fantastic place to stay with wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for Des & Heather, they make your stay really memorable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated & furnished, with everything you could possibly need. The breakfasts are perfect, it's hard to resist sampling everything! The villa is situated in a superb position, with access to the coastal path & lots of walks on countryside paths. I thoroughly recommend Saxon Villa.
It's really very simple to review Saxon Villa, excellent in every respect sums it up nicely. The rooms are spacious & well furnished with interesting features & the most comfortable beds. Breakfasts are varied, well cooked to order & will set you up for the day, plus always served with a smile in a dining room with lots of interesting objects to peruse. There's lots of local art work & pottery on display around this elegant home & a very welcoming atmosphere. Everywhere is spotless & Heather & Des go to great lengths to provide so many extras, little bags of toiletries in case you've forgotten something, a decanter of Port for a nightcap & a flask of fresh milk for your room. They have a lovely summer house in the garden for guests to use. Take a coffee or a bottle of wine & just relax, you'll be well looked after albeit unintrusively by the best hosts you will find anywhere.

The Saxon Villa is set in a lovely location and is approximately a 15 minute walk down into the wonderful Robin Hoods Bay! We have been on 4 occasions and love visiting not only the Saxon Villa with its gorgeous bedrooms, location, fabulous breakfast but also love seeing the hosts Heather and Des. They are a lovely couple, helpful and extremely friendly and ensure you have a wonderful stay. We have been over a Bank Holiday and in the quieter winter months when they offer 3 for 2 and 4 for 3 deals. I can honestly say we love our visit to the Saxon Villa. Enjoy!
