Lovely stay. Beautiful hotel and wonderful gardens.

We found the hotel very nice the grounds were lovely very clean room but basic we did find are evening meal was a let down and Breakfast and the young boy that was working was very standoffish but later I understood that there was only 2 staff on working behind the bar and waiting on but we did give them a tip but was unaware that there was a service charge to on the bill which we were unaware of but it was a comfortable stay and would go back on if we were going to the airport!

Did a Wedding fair last Sunday the hotel is beautiful and staff very helpful.

Me and my partner were gifted 2 nights bed and breakfast for Christmas. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, from the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist. The room we stayed in was ground floor and amazing. It was absolutely spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The food was really good quality and really tasty. The man who brought us the food was very friendly and again made us feel very welcome. Stanhill court is the best hotel we've stayed in. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place would highly recommend set in the country we have 14 day parking with hotel for the night. There's a restaurant and bar food great and very very clean throughout and staff brilliant and do anything for you will be definitely coming back and can't wait well done Stanhill.

We recently had our wedding here and could not have wished for a better experience, even with the terrible weather! Every single member of staff who were involved were absolutely brilliant. Really friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to help give us a wonderful wedding day. The grounds and hotel itself are stunning. The food is superb and we will definitely continue to visit this incredible venue. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Jackie who was our events planner. Even with all the stress of trying to plan and rearrange a wedding during covid, she was there every step of the way to help us have the most amazing day. Nothing was too much trouble and we could really tell how much she cared which we will always be grateful for.

Very beautiful hotel! Came here for my NHS training and absolutely loved it. Staff are friendly, food is amazing and the views here are just out of this world. They also have some very friendly goats which are gorgeous. The room I was in was very comfy. Definitely will come here again ☺️

Cracking place food good room good drinks bit expensive but very good all round great experience for someone who spends a lot of time on the road this is one of the better places we’ve stayed at.

Lovely setting. But devoid of atmosphere.

After a disastrous start, (my booking had been deleted from their system, ) and after having paid in full in February, we finally got a really nice ground floor room, which was clean and comfortable. Booked dinner for 7:30, and had to wait 45 minute before anyone came to serve us.
We were given a free dinner due to the poor service and the the food was exceptional when it arrived.
I do like this hotel, but there needs to be tighter management.

Beautiful hotel. Fully recommend a stay there. Food extremely good. Staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel and only a very short drive from Gatwick Airport with dedicated taxis available, just need to ask at reception to book one for your required time.

This place is incredible… the staff were so friendly, the setting was idyllic and the views were amazing. The food was to an excellent standard and if you needed anything the service was superb. Everyone made our stay so welcoming and we loved it so much we’ve booked to come back in December for longer in the same room! Thank you for an amazing experience and we can’t wait to come back! X.

Great hotel with amazing restaurant… friendly team to look after you… but no sandwiches in the evening … not impressed.

All I can say is WOW. Such a lovely hotel. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was wonderful, especially the dessert.

This hotel is beautiful, a charming building that has been tastefully refurbed and what makes it top notch is the wonderful staff. The reception lady Georgia is an absolute asset to the hotel, we immediately felt very welcome and it was very evident that our comfort and enjoyment was important to her… thank you Georgia we had a wonderful stay x.

I havent stayed there but did go to an event there today. Well what can I say it was absolutely fantastic in every way. The staff were fantastic the food excellent and thd hotel and ground stunning.

We stayed here on the 3rd August room was ok. We booked 3 course meal when we got there the gas had gone in ovens. They offered us a sandwich but we had payed for 3 courses we had to pick something that didn’t not have to be put in oven and they gave us freebottle wine. Coming back from our holiday we stayed there on the 13th August got to hotel they supposed to serve food until 9.30. We been travelling from Italy all day had no food. Only to be told when we got to hotel that chef this time was sick and there was nothing they could do. All though there was people eating in the restaurant. They offered us some nuts as a consolation. The room that we stayed in wasn’t the best even lamp shades were not fixed properly to wall and were dirty. Plugs in bathroom all rusty not good at all. We woke up this morning covered in bed bug bites. We could wait to get our place we left at 7.30am. My advice avoid this place like the plague never again I would rather pay parking in Gatwick than stay in this place again.

Very reasonable prices snd a lovely place however our room was dusty and the mattress/bed was probably the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep on. Cheeper though than paying for 2 weeks parking only at Gatwick. I would stay again but ask for a different room.

We went to an 80th birthday party there. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Our son got married there at Christmas time and it was lovely.

Nice hotel we had a deluxe room but to be fair we did wonder what the other rooms were like at the cheaper price. Included was parking for a week not a great car park though as was very full and hard to find a space.

Very posh country housr hotel. Food okay and rooms palatial. Parked the car for two weeks as well. The car parking is under trees so expect some dead leaves on the roof when you get back.

Stayed for two nights due to family wedding nearby. Hotel is very beautiful from outside and surrounded in lovely grounds. Work was taking place to refurbish however there was no apparent disruption. There is no lift so would not be suited for everyone. Food in restaurant very good. Not massively pricy but would be at top of some people's budget. Rooms spacious enough but only air conditioning is the window. Was made to feel welcome at all times so would feel happy in recommending to others. Is not too far from Gatwick Airport either.

Very comfortable hotel. Great value for money. 10 minutes from Gatwick airport. Free car parking. For us it's 10 out of 10.

Had a fantastic night at the hotel, the food in the restaurant was superb. And staff where friendly. Good value for money. Will go back 100%. I could not understand why people have rated this low. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely night.

A budget option hotel if you’re needing to get to the airport early with friendly staff. We checked in around 9pm and ordered room service (quite pricey). The room was freezing cold as nobody had been in to switch on the heating or appliances — you can find these well concealed near the floor by the door! We left our car for four days with no troubles. £10 taxi each way but do ask the hotel to book in advance as the early slots were taken when we had arrived. Terrible bed (small and lumpy! ) in the new wing (standard room) as an FYI!

Getting a bit tired but good value with parking added. Efficient transfer to Gatwick.

Lovely old mansion house. Taxi drive to Gatwick a tenner. Can leave car there so works out cheaper than faffing with Gatwick Express! V friendly and organised. Will revisit!

I have had a work Christmas lunch here for the last 3 years, because it was a Xmas lunch we had chosen food before we had arrived. The service was fast and a waiter came through for time to time for drinks. We where left to enjoy out food most of the time and there was no pressure to leave. The rooms a fantasic looking. The tables are a bit flimsy. When leaving we had to walk through a wedding reception which was a bit weird. Overall a great place.

Second time we have stayed at the beautiful Stanhill & used the Gatwick airport car parking offer… On arrival we were told our room had been upgraded & had room 12 with a lovely four poster bed. The patio bar serves delicious bar meals for a reasonable price. All of the staff are extremely helpful but Christina went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

Ok hotel for overnight stay before flight. Strange car park in wooded area, very dark, no outside lighting! Nice country house hotel if a little tired. No lift and complicated route to room which is always the furthest away!

Very stylish old Manor House and it's grounds converted into a hotel. Car park is in a wooded area so expect to get such traces dropping on your car. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. It's a little out the way from the town and shops.

Lovely old building just needs sign to say what to do with keys in morning. Carline and dsm taxi service very good.

Loverly place to stay and also park if you are traveling from Gatwick, you can get bed, breakfast, dinner and parking for the same cost or cheaper than parking at Gatwick and the taxi to Gatwick is only £10.00 perfect way to start your holiday.

Afternoon tea nice. Parking was awful. They had airport park no where 2 park had 2 drive round for age then a space was free.

A very Victorian Hotel Food and service very good. I stayed in a room with a four poster bed, I found it spooky but I think most would find it romantic. The decorations are a bit faded and the bathroom and shower looked like they were installed in the 1980's, but all working and clean. It is close to Gatwick and a big part of the hotels business seems to be offering one or two weeks parking linked to a nights stay and a shuttle service to the airport. The grounds are heavily wooded and it was odd to see all these parked cars scatter among the trees.

Stayed here on our outward journey out of Gatwick for one night and again for one night on our return. The location is great for the airport and inculded parking. The price on our return night included breakfast which was very good. Our room on the first night was adequate the place does need some updating. On our return the bedroom had to have been the smallest in the world. We complained the next day to very little avail. We would have complained on our arrival except we arrived at 11.30pm and having been on a plane for 7 hours we were tired.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, but service extremely poor and staff hard to find. We had a family celebration which was wonderful, but dead on 12.30 you were ushered out the function room having to take all belongings/unfinished drinks with you into the entrance lobby. No bar or staff to serve hotel guests who wanted to finish the evening with a nightcap or hot drink. You have to check out by 10am, not very friendly when breakfast was at 9.30am! Trying to get any service for a coffee or food impossible. Very poor service for what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and the gardens are stunning.

Stayed for one night with 15 days parking. Had a fantastic evening meal Very good value for money. Have booked again for Christmas Ps try to book room no 4 fantastic size.

Stayed for 1 night with longterm parking for my holiday and was very pleased with the value for money and and the hotel in general. I would recommend it and am looking forward to using again when flying from Gatwick.

"Interesting" is the word we would use! We stayed the night before we went on honeymoon in May 2013 and had a dinner, room and parking package. The receptionist was very frumpy, grey unkempt hair, no make-up and very pale although was pleasant enough. She checked us in and put our car keys in a numerical concertina file on the date we were due back. She booked our taxi and we went to our room. She had said there were no lifts and we couldn't have been in a room further away! We had to go up a huge staircase, along corridors, through doors, up and down one or two steps and about 10 minutes later got to our room, shattered, having lugged our cases with us. We had dinner, which was very nice indeed however only having had one glass of Rose, they had run out! The waiting staff also couldn't seem to get a grasp on which course we were on and tried to give us 2 desserts! The only other guests in the hotel appeared and then very quickly disappeared after dinner and we never saw any of them again. Having gone for a walk around the hotel after dinner we discovered a bin on fire at one end of the hotel. We reported it to a member of staff (no receptionist in sight) who then ran around with a torch with another couple of staff members. The smoke was heavy and one whole end of the hotel was filled with it. We went to bed, got up to get our taxi the next morning and again there was nobody around so threw our room key over the reception desk and hoped it was found by the next shift.

Used this hotel for one night stay and car parking during a holiday. After parking in hotel car park we were given no indication car may be moved and told our keys were only required by the Fire Brigade, just in case. On our return a further deception by the unhelpful staff told us the car had not been moved but on inspection we found a car same make model and colour in our original space. Coincidence? When it was found the car had been moved without our authorisation dumped on waste ground with many others. The car was filthy with mud, bird droppings, pine resin etc. We complained to the management whose attitude was most unapologetic and seemed to think they could do what ever they liked with the car whilst in their care. This is not what you need after a 11 hour flight and should make you wonder if these attitudes carry over into the general ruining of the rest of the hotels business.
