Lovely hearing the sea as I fall asleep and wake up, pet friendly in a gorgeous location, the shower was lovely.

Basic pleasant, room only hotel.

Lovely staff, Holly in particular made our visit very special, the owner gave us his recommendation for the blue dolphin, quite possibly the best fish and chips we have ever had. The room was spotless, great view for the red arrow display, we was meant to stay for a night but the owner gave us a great deal and we came home on Tuesday. The location is perfect to get to anywhere in the town. Highly recommended.

Far too small rooms with windows that do not rise, eat with the worst quality I have ever seen, beds like from a prison, Much too small shower where I could not shower properly, not an English breakfast but only lap-like cornflakes and bad toast, TV without remote control where you couldn't do anything. Had to live here for 1 week and hated it.

Excellente rooms, food ok, VERY NICE Service!

Very old and it ranges to sea in the rooms and the Smell doesn't go away either. Eating there is not the prayer either and is not entirely diverse. But it's very close to beach and it's easy to find.

Decinto rooms, bad food, dirty sheets, shower is not to be used. For people with house dust allergy, the stay is associated with complication. In the end, the visit is not advisable.

Worst customer service EVER! Dirty bathrooms, dirty beds, it’s moldy in some rooms and it smells badly. the only good thing about the hostel is that it’s located directly by the beach.

Room 32 is old, corner and broken. The shower doesn't work, the tap water smells of chlorine, the walls are smeared and damaged. The bed linen is partially clean.
Let's get to the food … The food is cold, tasteless and simply unpalatable.
I advise anyone who leaves this review here, you rather want ~ €300 for a bad hostel that is due to sea or ~ €300 for a good hostel, but that is > 500m away.

-Had to wait 2h hours until we could get to the room-shower either freezing or scald hot and she runs out-eating very one-sided only toast with Marmelde room very clean.

Versüffte beds not finished room steel beds and the stair railings almost fall off.

Looks nice from the outside walked in receptionist was nice upon being handed our key we found out we was on the top floor with 2 children and me being pregnant there was no lift so had to walk up 12 flights of stairs the beds looked nice but was very squeaky and to only have one flat pillow on each bed the view was lovely but the was no breakfast it was more like a hostel would not recommend to anyone to stay and was worse nights sleep even thought about leaving to drive home was not worth 85 pound paying anything over 50 pound for this place would be joke.

Whoever gave this place a five star rating is a habitual lier. This place is little more than a youth hostel At ninety pounds a night I feel ripped off. I have stayed at many b&b's, hotels and guest houses and this is by far the worst for the money If it was in the sub fifty pounds bracket it might be acceptable.

Nice place. Incredible view of the sea from high up room, however services could have been better as showers not hot enough for a few minutes after turning on.

Basic accommodation in a good location, we booked a sea view room which was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, Wi-Fi was available but a bit intermittent, no breakfast facility but plenty of choice nearby with the pier and the town centre only 5 minutes walk away, or walk a little further and you will find the old town with narrow streets and quaint shops, bars and restaurants. Here you will also find the fenicular railway that takes you up to the castle on the west hill, for great views and lots of history. All in all a pleasant stay in a very good location.

Small but nice room with a refurbished toilet. Wi-Fi could be better.

Simple but clean accommodation. No bath towels and we only found out after checking in that parking permits were available. No hairdryer in room but available from reception although no sign in the room to say this. On a positive note the receptionist was really nice and helpful when the TV remote wouldn't work and sourced an alternative quickly.

The room ceilings have several holes. The breakfast was not really good. In my bed I also noticed hair. I'm sorry, but the only good thing was the room size.

Rooms were clean. Beds comfy. Shower was new. View of sea. Can hear cars and noise on main street but that doesn't bother me. Enjoyed our stay.

This was very basic room which for the price you would expect! however the room was tiny for family of 4. We had two single beds which isn't great! also when we turned the light on in bathroom it made very loud buzzing noise! It wasn't cleaned very well and smelt of damp! but the worst thing we were on the 3rdfloor no bother really. Except we were walking down the stairs my granddaughter 2 was holding on to wooden railing banister only to my horror I saw the banister slat come off in her hand on the second floor luckily I was holding her hand otherwise shed have fallen through the gap! She would have been seriously hurt! I took railing and complained to desk. To which she said. 2nd floor you say… thanks for letting me no! When I then told her this was unacceptable as very dangerous she replied OK thanks?! I then went to check the rest of slats. And yes most of them were loose! Disgrace shame on you a stall lodge! @we won't be returning! official complaint made! @@ be ware any one with children staying here!

Altho I wasn't quite sure what I was eating there, it was OK.

Great Room, Great Views, Great staff and Great value for money.

The rooms are very small and the food is for my taste very bad. For example, in the morning cold pieces of toast with Nutella Imitation and fader jam to eat, I do not understand under a British Breakfast. The only good thing I to the Hostel from the can is the free Wi-Fi but only limited available!

A nightmare!
The hotel is dirty and the rooms are way too small!
For a German of some unreasonable is entitled.
The only thing is positive, which is close to the sea.
Not to recommend.

Lovely hotel, very well furnished to a modern standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights and we will definitely be using this hotel in the future as it's on the beach front. Very good value for money.
