Good food nice room staff very good.

Stayed here last night 23 June. Had a terrible room. Beds were so uncomfortable. We were on third floor 317. Could here everything from the room above us! Cost 70 pound and no breakfast included. We were glad to leave. Never again. Premier inn next time at least you get a decent bed.

The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and tidy. Great location. Really close to the sea and not far from the town.

Just spent the best weekend at the imperial hotel with wool and Wareham legion food very good? room very tidy and nice? and the most friendliness and polite staff I have every met? would recommend this hotel to anyone well done I will be back one day?

Superb 5 day holiday. Staff extremely helpful and very pleasant. Food good. Clean, comfortable rooms.

Food arfull best thing about the hotel was happy hour, met some lovely people and a horrible little old man.

Worst Xmas dinner ever and caught sickness bug on last day, staff were trying to cope but need to try harder.

Our room on second floor was dated, window needed replacing, shower was too small, but the room &. Bed very clean & comfortable. Waiters & staff first class, nightly entertainment was good. Service from reception cleaners & waiters was first class. Meals were good, but very small portions.

Great place to stay sometimes rooms can be to hot.

Food could of been better. But on the whole still great value for money. Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff where very good. Especially Alex who was our waiter for the.

If you come here you must meet staff member kris because his customer services is the best.

Food was very basic. Limited options and poor quality. Lots of old people, if you are less than 65 yo go somewhere else, we felt weird. Room was ok with good view. Location was great. Staff were very helpful and cleaners were polite.

Not to bad Food basic. Rooms clean my room just had a bath no shower And as I am 83 years old that was not to good Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Really nice dining room and food. Rooms a bit on the small side and obviously a bigger room divided in two. Bedside facilities average.

Had a great time in February, I thought my allocated room was fine, food was also good staff can't do enough for you placed in a great position for the shops am going again next weekend, Robinsons tours are ideal for me, as my son lives in Eastbourne and I have no hassle with London tubes and get to stay in a nice hotel as well, hopefully will be paying many more visits to the Imperial. We spent a pleasant 5 days in the Imperial Hotel, We had traveled by Robinson's and on arrival at the Hotel, we were welcomed in a pleasant manner, Our room was bright and well decorated. The food was very enjoyable. Our only complaint ws the 'Fixed Time' dining. But this did lead to very efficient service in the dining room. My wife and I would definitely go there again. Went to this hotel for a five day break and reading the previous review was a bit apprehensive. However when we saw our room it was very clean and well decorated. The room had a very high ceiling and full length heavy lined curtains to match the bedspreads. The bathroom had well placed hand rails which made it easy to get into the bath. The staff were all very friendly and the waiters wore smart uniforms with metal name badge which would not have been out of place at a four star hotel. The breakfast was good and the toast was served at the end, not left on the table to get cold. The evening meal had three choices for each course and the rolls were warm and of high quality. The meal arrived hot and the waiters were very efficient. Our waiter had arrived two weeks previously from Lithuania and did not make a mistake the whole time we were there and always had a friendly smile. There was entertainment every evening, and I think for the prices charged this is excellent value for money and a very pleasant hotel to stay in.

This hotel belongs to the Holdsworth Group of hotels. I stayed here in July of this year (2009) on a "Robinsons Coach Holiday" which are usually of a high standard. Robinsons Coach Tours claim to actually own 3 of the Holdsworth hotels, this is one of them. I certainly will not be staying in this hotel again, it is tatty, run down and even dirty in many places and desperately needs updating. Some bedrooms are extremely small and very badly dated with peeling paintwork and damaged tiles in the bathrooms and in a desperate need of new decor. However a few bedrooms are fine, which they term as "Premier Rooms" and are of a higher standard. These are rooms that other hotels would probably term as standard and what anyone would expect any decent hotel to provide. The management at the hotel don't listen and are not interested in complaints from coach tours, however the general staff work hard to please the guests but are up against a uncaring hierarchy. The food was of a very poor quality and if you have a good appetite then you will spend a lot of time and money eating out. I have stayed at a Robinsons / Holdsworth hotel previously which was excellent in all respects and I rated at 9 out of 10. However the Imperial rates with me at only 3 out of 10 and I am being generous here. Many other people who were staying on the same tour agreed with my criticism and Im afraid no one praised the hotel at all.
