Another good Premier Inn experience! I use Premier as my first choice hotels for business trips and Cardiff was another enjoyable stay. The air conditioning was having ongoing problems, and the weather was hot, but I found a fan set up and running in my room which made it comfortable enough. The staff were great and the breakfast was up to the usual high standard. Excellent value all round.

Stayed here during the Champions Legaue finals. Great place, polite and helpful staff, cozy rooms and a great breakfast spread! What else can you wish for? I had a brilliant experience with Premier Inn and I look forward to such pleasant experiences ahead.

Room was lovely, very clean, bed were so comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly. No noise or disturbance. Slept well so did my wife and baby. Only downside was after paying £150 for the room was breakfast was not included, you had to pay extra, for that price I do think breakfast should be included.

Love this place. Situated in the heart of Cardiff. Super for people in wheelchairs. The accessible rooms are lovely and large. Clean and tidy. There are 2 lifts and a good restaurant. The food is great and the bar is a bonus. The staff are so helpful especially Abby. Nothing is too much trouble. One of our party had a birthday and they not only let us have a cake that we bought in, they came in with it and sang happy birthday and even made sure there was a birthday card and celebration chocs on the table for him. They are always friendly and fun. I can't recommend this premier inn enough. There is a npr car park across the road and premier have a special deal with them for cheaper price parking and it a security monitored one.

This was my first time to stay at the Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre. I arrived quite late at night and being unfamiliar with the area I had no idea where to park. I pulled over to ring the hotel but could not get through. Each time I called the automated voice said they were busy and the call was disconnected. I had to call 3 times before I got through to someone on reception. It would have been helpful if they just allowed you to go on hold. In any event when I did get through the staff member was very helpful. The car park was relatively close to the hotel. A 3 minute walk away so not too bad. The room itself was lovely. It was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean and hygienic. A comfortable night's rest.

Great location for the Motorpoint Arena. Easily walkable to lots of bars & restaurants. Hotel itself is clean and rooms were nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

Excellent location for CIA. Central to shops and short walk from train station. Parking close by. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was very nice plenty of choice. We have stayed here several times.

This was our third stay. Very central to most amenities. Very clean. Very helpful staff. My only criticism is that the restaurant opens at 6 pm and closes at 10 pm. Each time we have booked to have an evening at the nearby Motorpoint arena and we have been unable to eat at the Premier Inn restaurant. This is because restaurant times don't coincide with venue times — venue doors open at 6.30 and our gig finished at 10.15 pm. A lot of guests who stay here do so because they have booked an event at the Motorpoint Arena — so why doesn't the restaurant open at 5 and closes at 11 pm? Makes a lot of sense and it would make our stays more convenient and more enjoyable.

Great premier Inn located in the centre of Cardiff short walk from the quay. Very friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Very reasonably priced for the time we stayed for. Rooms very clean with all provisions you could need. Would stay here again.

So many people are having a fantastic time in the morning. Thanks for the first time together in the end. You are all quite cheery and happy to meet with me. So please leave me alone and in my room the same time as the electric swing band and orchestra. In summary we have to give you a big OS commerce and management skills in English literature review.

Very good value for the family room and the full breakfast option. The room was clean, well equipped and we'll maintained. The location was excellent for walking into Cardiff centre and visiting the local attractions. The evening meal was good value and service was polite and quick. The self service check in quick and easy to use, although only 2 out of the 3 devices were working at the time of visiting. The main issue is car parking, with the NCP car park is too the left of the hotel, and down a one way street and not opposite as described on the Web site / e-mail. Also the entrance is down a one way street, so don't go past it, and don't get confused with the private car park that you can also see from the street. Would definitely use the hotel again if staying in Cardiff in the future.

Nice enough rooms with air conditioning. Staff were helpful even if some of them were trying a little bit too hard to be funny. A word of warning, whatever they used to clean the beds, it made my partner's eyes bright red and burn for a few days. I was unaffected but our friend, who was staying in another room, mentioned his extremely itchy scalp. On the other hand, the breakfast was acceptable, mostly. We got the continental, meaning nothing from the hot area of the kitchen but it was fine.

Superb stay, first class service. Excellent location in the centre of Cardiff, room very spacious and nice little bar on the ground floor. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is regarding the parking situation which is understandable with the location of the hotel. Would highly recommend.

I would of rated 5* until I stumbled across the electric box on the wall in the top corner of the room and realised it was 3 years past it's safety inspection date. A little un-nerving given the fact the windows are solid glass Payne's that don't open and it was way too high to jump from and still survive should the worst of happened.

By far the best Premier Inn I have stopped in. The staff are super cheerful and most helpful. This comment is not personal to our experience but registered with other guests too. I highly recommend.

Very clean and modern as is all Premier Inns. Friendly staff. Excellent location in city centre. Parking is 3 mins away from hotel.

The best Premier Inn I have stayed in so far (of about 7 different ones across the country). I stayed in room 618, which had a lovely view across to the bay (see photo), but because it also looked out over Queens Street train station, you could hear trains arriving and departing (I slept well nevertheless). My guess would be that it is yet more quiet higher up. Staff were friendly, approachable and accommodating (I enquired about and was promptly given a room higher up). Would happily return whenever I am next in Cardiff.

Very well located in the city center, close to the small station of Queen Street. Comfortable room. And attentive staff.

Always like the consistency with premier inn. Clean, tidy. Good location. Parking paid but not too far away and is 15.40 for 24hrs.

Clean, centrally located hotel which unfortunately does not have its own parking. Costs must also be planned. (approx. 15 €/day).
The rooms are well sealed against noise and correspond to the price category. The breakfast was good and the room was very clean.

Great staff even better food, I recommend buying the meal deal when you book. My dessert was amazing. Eating it as I write this. Burgers are good meat is fresh and tomato's freshly cut on the day.

My first time staying at this particular Premier Inn. Absolutely brilliant location, 1 minute walk to the main shopping street in Cardiff. 10-15 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station. Also Queen St train station 1 minute walk away. My room was quite big with plenty of space and a dual shower/bathtub. I got the full breakfast buffet one morning and it is so good, you can help yourself to as much as you want from hot food, breads, cereals hot drinks and fruit juices. My only complaint would be that I was interrupted several times by the housemaids. On day Saturday, 2 hours after I checked in, a maid let herself into the room and woke me up, then left immediately. I don't know why she was there as the room had been cleaned before I arrived. On Sunday a maid knocked continuously on the door for almost a minute, even though I shouted from the bed that I didn't need housekeeping. I eventually let her in to stop the knocking! On Monday I put a sign on the outside door handle saying no housekeeping required, but again a maid almost let herself in until I shouted that I was changing! So apart from the maids ruining my beauty sleep a few times I had a brilliant few days here and if I am in Cardiff again this is the first hotel I will look up.

My family and I stay here several times a year and would highly recommend it for individuals, couples or families. The on-site restaurant serves dinner and breakfast at reasonable prices. It is ideally located for shopping and only a quick taxi or train ride to Cardiff Bay. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can pay with debit or credit card but not in cash due to potential money laundering. There is no parking on-site but there are 2 car parks nearby where you can safely leave your vehicle and pay when you leave. Adam Street car park is £15 for 24 hour parking.

Was fine, comfy bed, very clean. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Though room much to warm, couldn't have window open due to noise from the Sainsbury's garage and my son trying to sleep under open window. Was offered another fan but too noisy for my son.

Our family room was rather compact, but it was clean and had everything we required. The air con worked well and the beds were comfortable. We stayed in room 611, our view was of brick wall, which was a little disappointing. We had a buffet breakfast in the morning with all the usual Premier Inn food choices, except there was a chef available to cook extras to order — I request a poached egg rather than the standard fried egg. The food was to an excellent standard and there were several waitresses who were friendly and efficient in clearing away the finished plates. The carpark is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. We arrived quite late at night and found the hotel difficult to locate from the car park as there were no signs but it seemed quite obvious in daylight. On the whole we were very satisfied with this Premier Inn and would happily return here but would ask for a room with a better view next time.

Well situated, booked in advance so wasn't too expensive. Enjoyed the breakfast and felt I got my monies worth. Shared a room with friends and we had an enjoyable sleep during a weekend away. Recommend based on the friendly front of staff and the cleanliness of the establishment.

Stayed with my family (4 of us) in one room, room a bit smelly when we opened the door (I think it was the air con). Nice spacious clean room, kids very happy, beds very comfy. Biggest downside was the breakfast, for the want of 1 or 2 members of staff it would have been so much better, had to wait for a table although there were loads empty because they had not been cleared from previous customers yet, also had to wait and ask for crockery at the self service and many food items as they were not getting restocked quickly enough. Both the women who were clearing tables and restocking were rushed of there feet, so it was just lack of staff causing the problem. Would I stay again? Yes because you get what you pay for and for two nights in Cardiff at half term u was more than happy with the price, however yet to get the parking bill which I suspect could be nearly as much as breakfast for 4

Excellent friendly service, great breakfast, fairly basic menu in restaurant but food was excellent, large comfy spotlessly clean rooms, great views across the city from higher floors perfect location for touring city, best premier inn I have stayed in so far.

The hotel was Ok. As this hotel has no parking we were told by the front desk to park at the NCP across the road. The rooms are basic but clean. Our room needed some TLC.

Great hotel. Friendly service at welcome, and throughout stay. No complaints, didn't need to contact reception during stay, as everything was fine with the room.

Fantastic welcome from a member of staff called Andrew on arrival and the next day was behind the bar in the night fantastic guy rooms very clean great place to stay.

The service from hotel staff was great; they cared about our visit and constantly checked that everything was as it should have been. One of the two lifts were out of order, which is the only slight complain I can have about my stay.

Room was nice and was quiet considering the central location. The staff are really freindly and helpful, and I great to be so close to the city centre.

Location is great for the city centre and shopping, price is okay if you book ahead the rooms are great and no complaints unless you get an old room. Food is pretty average, can't eat their food for more than one night. Breakfast is expensive and the cooked stuff is pretty bad, good selection of cerials and tea coffee e. C. Brilliant location — easy to find from the National Express stop nearby. The bus station I needed was right across the road, so the placement was perfect. The only improvement would have been if the twin room had contained two double beds rather than a single and a double. However, my single bed was still very comfortable.

The location to the shops and pubs, warm friendly atmosphere and staff. The room was lovely.

It was in a great location. Service was excellent as always. However, even with air-conditioning turned off there was a fan or pump still running which was quite loud.

Good location, clean rooms and bathrooms, fair price. There's no parking at the hotel — the cheapest one is the NCP on Adam street (about £7/night).

Although parking is a 5 minute walk from the local NCP, the stay at this Premier Inn was my best experience yet. I have stayed at a fair few but from the moment we checked in and until the last breakfast baked bean passed my lips I can honestly say it was second to none, from the staff to the cleanliness and food that was served! Well done to all for making our stay one that will make us return soon.

Was your standard Premier Inn. So clean, welcoming and comfy stay. It's the locations that's also great as central to all the shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs. We went for the rugby and proved to be a good spot as was walking distance. The only downside is parking can be a nightmare. We had to park 10 mins walk away so bear that in mind if taking a large bag.

This is easily the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Massive rooms, great views amazing staff. Would happily stay here again.

Considering the price, we weren't expecting much, but this hotel was perfect. The location was fabulous (minutes from great restaurants and shopping) and the room was great (such a comfortable bed). The staff was very helpful. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Poor service, staff are not very helpful. During my stay, there was no hair dryer in the room, door lock metal strip was coming off, room cleaning service was shabby. Had to remind them to clean the room. Information about parking is completely misleading. Parking ticket is validated for each exit from the car park but you have to pay upon exit each time and depending upon the number of exits from the car park you can end up paying a lot of money, so be careful.

A good place is the centre of Cardiff, around the corner shopping center, walking close to the castle and other attractions. Free underground Parking. Night at the hotel was worth 113£ (lived alone), but most (! ) the problem with the air conditioning! First do not open Windows! and even if not included feature Soundproofed Windows — cold like a freezer! Include temperature on the display, and all the early works — you have to call the staff. The room is clean and cozy. But I would continue for the money not spent the night, there are more comfortable hotels at a reasonable price.

Spent 2 nights in a twin room with wife and 2 kids. Plenty of room, great food and nice central location for castle, museums and shops.

Room for four a bit small, sore note the Wi-Fi fee, despite the price of the room.

Central location walking distance to Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and central Cardiff. Rooms can quickly sell out for major events in the city so book as early as you can.

Average hotel with a decent location, really friendly staff, a good prices.

To be honest the same old Premier Inn. Service is slightly better than others however. Most likely because it Wales and people are generally nicer.
