Lovely Hotel with super friendly staff, we were made to feel very welcome, which made travelling with our wee dog much easier. Would definitely recommend for travellers with a dog.

Back here at the Rosemount. It really is a home from home, owners Keith and Ann are so welcoming. If you are a dog owner, this is the place for you.

Worst hotel experience of my life! Greeted with rude and outrageous behaviour from absolutely vile hosts. I would certainly never recommended this hotel to a friend. The service received was absolutely shocking, as my family were made to feel completely unwelcome before even checking in this weekend! I have never seen anything like it in my life I am absolutely appalled by the behaviour of the staff at this venue. A hotel is a place where people of all shapes, sizes, ethnic origins and religions come to stay. I would not even give you the one star rating if it was in any way possible! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Wonderful hosts. Fabulous for our four legged friends. Large spacious family rooms but these go super quick, so be sure to book and check. Good hearty breakfast. Have been going for 4 years. Will keep returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Booked a short break between Christmas and New year. We had a fabulous time very friendly staff and owners couldn't make us feel more welcome. Excellent food and couldn't spoil our Dog Marley enough thank you we will definitely be back. Gav&Debs and Marley.

Lovely friendly welcome, great hosts, superb breakfast. Scenic views from the rooms over Pitlochry — an excellent base for a break in beautiful Perthshire. Very dog friendly as well.

We stayed here last week as we were going to the Enchanted Forest.
What a wonderful, family and dog friendly hotel. Our room was lovely and spacious for the 4 of us plus the dog with stunning views out the window. Our 2 children also loved the swingball!
All staff we spoke to were lovely & welcoming. The nearby walks we were recommended were just superb and perfect for seeing the gorgeous scenery. Our evening meals and hearty breakfasts were great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel for all of the above reasons and it’s proximity to the Main Street of Pitlochry.

Very pet friendly, even allowing your dog to be with you when you eat although not in the restaurant. They have rooms for both pets and no pets. So rooms to suit everyone. Rooms are clean and tidy. Only downside is the water pressure is not great. I showered everyday and it was ok, just took a little longer. (adds to the holiday experience).
Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food is excellent and they have a bar area if you fancy a drink.
A 5 minute walk takes you to the centre of Pitlochry. Although we went in October, they have a lovely outdoor seating area which would be nice in warmer weather.

We have had thee most amazing time In and around pitlochry. The staff her are so friendly, warming and welcoming, nothing too much and full of knowledge of the area for things to do. We will be coming back.

George was very informative. Took good care of us and recommended places to see during our stay here.

My wife and I are just back from a two night stay at the Rosemount Hotel which was fantastic. We had a premium room booked and were updated to a junior suite with our own entrance. We ate both nights at the hotel as food was homemade and very tasty. It was also the first time away with our maltese Mason and he was made so welcome. The owners couldn't do enough for you with information on places to go and things to see and we couldn't forget George who was also very helpful. We are going to go back in the summer again and we can't wait. Thank you.

I spent a week at the hotel with my dog. We had a great time. The location was perfect, a very short walk into the town and short drive to all the places I had in mind to visit. The staff were all lovely and they really strive to ensure you are happy and catered for. The food was lovely as well. I Cannot fault this hotel and I will return next year for sure.

We had a lovely stay at the Rosemount in August 2018. We were only in Pitlochry for a day or so, but the Rosemount was a great place to spend the night and the staff were incredibly friendly, informative about the town, and just great all around. Plus, it has a fantastic view of the town below from the hill.

Great dog friendly hotel, room we had was not the most modern but clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Only thing that could be better is the shower, which is rather weak. Good value in Pitlochry (not the cheapest place to find a room).

I had a lovely time staying at The Rosemount. The owners are fantastic and really made a huge fuss of me and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fabulous with stunning views and spotlessly clean. The food was delicious with everything you could wish for at breakfast. I was sorry to leave but pleased I have found this gem of a hotel who made me very welcome. I will be back. My human companions seemed to thoroughly enjoy their stay too. Very friendly and nice room with a view of the surrounding countryside. Visiting tips and walks. A 5-minute walk from the center of the small town of Pitlochry. At a very decent price. To discover!

The hotel was beautifully decorated. George was the perfect host. Food and service was very good. Room 6 was smaller than we were used to. It felt more like a B & B. The 'en suite' was very small. There was nowhere to leave toiletries. If we return we will ask for one of the bigger rooms.

Fantastic hotel we have had the pleasure of visiting Ann and Keith and George for a few years now, all are very welcoming and attentive and always makes you feel special.

My wife and I stayed with our Jack Russell Terrier at Rosemount in March 2018 for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to accommodate our dog. Breakfast was fantastic (and the dog could join us at breakfast time) and a great start to our day before we spent our days hiking around the local area. Highly recommended and would be more than happy to stay again if we find ourselves in Pitlochry.

A very welcoming hotel, spotlessly clean, excellent food including the lovely breakfast. This hotel really is pet friendly, (my dog is missing them already) with good dog walking facilities close by. The hotel is well located with just a five minute walk to the main street. We will be going back.

We stayed at the Rosemount for a long weekend with our dog it was very good the staff were good at their jobs the food was good and the room was good to I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here as we were working in the area, the hotel has a very relaxed ambience, the rooms are very clean and comfortable with a very good shower which is always a bonus when working away. We had breakfast and dinner on our stay both of which were lovely and plentiful. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing stay in Pitlochry, thanks again.

Firstly the staff are great, its spotless, the room was small but clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. Location was a plus only 5 minute walk to the centre. I have taken a mark off as I felt I was over charged at dinner. However it wasn't until later it clicked and was given no receipt. Nevertheless its a clean, good price, location and great staff. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rosemount hotel. We did book it last minute and even if we made a mistake in the reservation (date) the staff accomodated us. Very very friendly staff at the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit old, but it's well maintained and the rooms are just perfect. I recommend this hotel, athe the restaurant is very good too.

Staying here just now and the accomodation/food/service is quite exceptional. Would highly recommend for dog owners.

The hotel was lovely. When we arrived we where served very quickly and given all of the information we required about the area and things to do. It was recomended that we take a certain route to walk to the fish dam and on Mondays the locals put on a highland night for visitors which was great as you don't get much of an oppertunity to see things like that in most parts of Scotland. The hotel was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The staff where fantastic and we cannot sing their praise enough. They even allow dogs which I thought was awesome as there are plenty of walks in the area. The hotel comes with Wi-Fi and information on the area and things to do and see. It's located perfectly away from the town but not too far a walk and is sign posted so that you can find your way back. The only fault I can find with the hotel was that they don't serve potato scones with breakfast! 5 out of 5 for me, next time I visit it will be with family. Can't wait to go back.

A quick mention passing on our recommendations to customers who maybe considering booking a stay at this hotel. Don't think about it to long just go ahead and book your stay. The rooms are spacious, well prepared for your stay and the staff are extremely pleasant and very helpful to all your questions. A pleasant short stay and every thing required was available to ensure your stay would be most enjoyable.

Beds were good, room looks a bit dated. Breakfast was ok. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Location was a short walk from the centre of the town.

Charming hotel overlooking Pitlochry. The owner is very nice and welcoming. He does not hesitate to give advice on the activities of the corner. Our room was nice with a decor very scottish. A correct address :-)

Only stayed overnight for one night, but it is a nice place. Had a very comfortable bed and nice large TV. The food was great a well. We had a large room with bedding for 3, you there was still plenty of room.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Rosemount Hotel. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. It is also dog friendly so our wee king charles loved it too! Our meals were cooked from fresh. Lovely walks and scenery not more than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We could not have had a more pleasant stay. We will most definitely be staying there if we are in Pitlochry again.

OK for a one night stop on way north. But don't eat here unless you want to go to bed hungry.

Rooms are small and tired, service was OK as was Breakfast.
However the size of the evening meal is way too small even for Weight Watchers! Chicken Ceasar salad with less than 100g of Chicken on a side salad dish for£11.75! So as I said we went to bed hungry. Thankfully we only stayed for one night on the way to the Highlands.

Absolutaly loved this hotel after spending a couple of nights here we headed up to the Highlands but not before booking another couple of nights for on our way back down to coincide with a visit to the Enchanted Forest… Buffet breakfast was amazing and well stocked… rooms were absolutely fabulous… Really friendly staff and the evening meals and well stocked bar made our stay fantastic.

We had a great time at the Rosemount and would highly recommend it, especially for people who are looking for a dog friendly hotel. The room was huge, the food was great, and the owners and staff very friendly. Pitlochry is lovely and a great base from which to explore the Highlands.

Very comfortable stay, 2nd visit in 2 years for a break with my mum. Really friendly staff, cosy bar for a nightcap and a great Scottish breakfast.

I can realy recomend this hotel. The owners and the stuff are realy proffessionels. Service minded, kind and whit alots of nice destinations to recomend. The hotel is very clean, the rooms nice and the breakfast and dinner where delicious! We will absolutly stay there again on our next visit in Pitlochry.

This is a comfortable hotel in a very good location. The decor is smart and the staff very helpful and friendly. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast was also of a very high standard. The rooms were a little small but fine for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again.

A very nice small hotel with friendly, very helpful staff. Great food, very clean, good family room, (2 adults and 2 children).

Staff quite friendly however the rooms are really small. We stayed for one night and got a room with a broken shower that was annoying us for a whole night. Breakfast was good but overall the price much was too high for this type of accommodation.

Stayed at Rosemount for one night, I thought £82 was a bit much for 1 night, nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay there and would go back if I was looking to stay in Pitlochry again.
