Just back from an amazing stay at the Bunkhouse. What a beautiful setting. We loved the living area downstairs and the garden area with fire pit and hot tub was just the best! It was such a relaxing break! The staff were very helpful too. Thanks Boreland.

Had the most fabulous time in the Farmhouse. Staff were terrific, friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend this site and the Farmhouse as the accommodations and views are breathtaking!

We will be back! After two weeks of cycling this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We stayed in the bunkhouse and it had everything we could have wanted and more. The accommodation is overlooking a beautiful loch and are only issue was that we didn't have enough time to explore the local area. We can't wait to plan our next trip back to get away from the city already. 😃

Stayed here in the cottage and absolutely loved the place and surroundings, a hidden gem.

We booked a hen party last minute on Thursday after being let down by a different lodge due to Covid restrictions and we honestly could not fault the service we received so last minute, and were able to have an amazing weekend away! Would definitely recommend.

Went there to celebrate friends 40th birthday and as much we had a good time, I couldn’t say that I am longing to get back to the lodge. When we arrived the lodge wasn’t ready for us as the hot-tub as nowhere near warm enough, there were not enough beds set up for all our guests that were booked in, there were no bin liners, cleaner have left mop and a bucket there and overall the place looked very unprepared for our arrival. Two young boys (managers) were circulating around the few lodges and we had to ask repeatedly for bin liners, for extension lead, for beds, for fire to be started and for the hot tub to be started for us. We got there in the end, but it was so annoying that we had to chase the “managers” for everything after paying so much money for the lodge off-season and listening to their excuses — “I only started my shift an hour ago so I can’t tell you why the hot tub is not warm yet and why there are no beds in your lodge”. But we did get very extensive list of penalties if we break something, if we don’t wash dishes, it we don’t clean the lodge and if we don’t empty bins. We were also told to pay a hefty deposit after we arrived that was not mentioned on the booking email so there was a lot of hiccups that really dampened our mood and overall experience at Boreland Loch Tay. I would not recommend these lodges and will certainly not consider visiting this place again.

Just got home from my stag do here. Was really good scenery was amazing and the place was clean and tidy very well equipped kitchen service was spot on. Could ask for more from the lads on site would definitely like to go again. Obviously not for another stag do that’s mine lol.

A great location with stunning views over Loch Tay. 16 of us were in the Farmhouse which was very spacious and well equipped. Pete and Greg, our hosts were brill making our weekend amazing. Well organised events… Highland games, airsoft, zorb football. Some of the best laughs ever. The BBQ was spot on with more than enough food for everyone. Thanks to all at Boreland, would definitely recommend. Great service start to finish.

Went to Boreland for a Stag weekend. It was exceptional. Great location, facilities perfect and our host Mathew was brilliant. Why go abroad when you can spend a weekend here. A big thanks to all the staff and in particular Mathew. I would highly recommend this location for a Stag Do or simply somewhere to have a wee bit of fun in the great outdoors.

One of the most stunning places to visit in Scotland. The views over the loch from Boreland are amazing. We were at a stag do with Highland games and airsoft being the highlights. A swim in the Loch after a heavy night really helps to blow the cobwebs away!

I attended a wedding there. The landscape is amazing and nice activities. Recommend it.

Pretty impressed with the setting and running of this place. We were there for a stag do, which Boreland are very welcoming to. Matt and his team had a chilled out approach and knew how to provide the right environment for an enjoyable weekend. The food provided was ideal for a group and the no-frills activities worked well for a bunch of hung over guys!

NO STRIPPERS ALLOWED This is not made obvious on the website and can only be found in an obscure part of the T&Cs. Surely strippers would be expected on a stag do and it should be CLEARLY advertised that they are not permitted. The private beach is a joke and the highland games were a disappointment, however the accommodation and facilities are pretty good. Not recommended for stag parties.

Tip top! Kind of stuff dreams are made of. I had to organise cross-continent but no issues at all and all the lads had a great time! Little things are well-covered too: loads of cups for tea (and a dishwasher besides), plenty of seats in every room, ruggers on the telly, and toilets round every corner.

Service through our conctact has been incredible. Wonderful location, excellent views and overall great accomodation. Would definately come back.

Just back from a great stag weekend at Boreland. Brilliant location with relaxed, helpful staff. We stayed in the bunkhouse which was ideal for a group of 20 guys staying. Basic but very clean sleeping facilities, with excellent toilets/showers, good kitchen and a brilliant downstairs living area. The BBQ area out the back is stunning. It’s a 10-minute walk down to the loch, as your set back into the hill, and the more hidebound and anti-right-to-roam locals didn’t seem to like us being near the water, but that’s easily ignored and just a part of life in this part of Scotland. The activities (Highland Game and Airsoft) were really good fun and ideal for a stag do — laid back but still well organised. All in all, a really good weekend, and I’d thoroughly recommend this to anyone seeking a stag do with a nice balance of housebound drinking and outdoor fun.

I booked a stag party here this past weekend (28th April). The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The booking process was easy — I had constant contact throughout and they were able to cater for our requirements. The accommodation was great and the staff on site were helpful throughout. They ordered the boxing from Sky and arranged the activities we were doing so we could watch the football. The breakfast was great, ideal after a couple of nights of drinking! There is plenty space for a fire and a barbecue. Would definitely recommend the zorb football as well, although bring some painkillers! Overall, the weekend was brilliant and booking easy. We would all recommend this 100%.

This warm and welcoming place has a heart of gold and the most stunning view of Loch Tay between the hills to go with it. It is well worth a visit for any nature lover as there is plenty to explore outside, and a laid back, cosy atmosphere inside. I hope you enjoy your stay!
