Great afternoon for Gran’s 90th! First time here and will definitely be back. Afternoon tea was beautiful and special mention to Gabrielle who was very helpful and went that extra mile to make Gran’s day. Great customer service from start to finish!

Thank you to the Manager and All the fantastic staff at Rocpool Reserve, for the first class service and hospitality extended to my parents. They thoroughly enjoyed the surprise overnight stay with you to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
Everyone was so kind and made it possible for me to add some surprises for there arrival. The food and drinks were second to none. The hotel is luxurious and very comfortable. Would highly recommend, My parents are already planning to return.

First meal out since COVID19. Was anxious at going out for dinner the but Rocpool Reserve have thought about everything! There is down loadable menus so you are not touching anything anyone else has. Your table is all set up with the drinks you order before going through, cutlery is in a box ready for you to lay out, your meal is set on a table next to you ready for you to place onto your table, you clear your table as you go. Have to say the way that this is done was more enjoyable than dining out before. There was no encroaching on your table as you chose when you are finished with stuff. The service was 5 star, the waiters and waitresses provided a really attentive and enjoyable experience. The food was exquisite! From the appetiser through to the pallet cleansing sweet treats at the end. Amazing experience, thank you.

The hotel is lovely and the restaurant is fabulous. Unfortunately we were given a room right next to the kitchen… So basically we could hear the chefs swearing in the evening, as well as all the noise from the kitchen… And then bottles being thrown at 7am… Joy! I would rather have a room less and happy clients than offering a room next to the kitchen.

Had a wonderful lunch here with my partner and my mother and father today. Lovely express lunch, canapés and lovely fresh bread, lovely wine and coffee what's not to like and the bill was extremely palatable aswell.

Found this by chance while trying to book the Rocpool in the centre of town, boy are we glad we found it! Awesome food, amazing service!

The staff are great, nothing to much. The food is amazing. But the best thing is the room. We stayed in the decadent room. Wow. Out of this world. Would recommend it to anyone.

My husband booked the Rocpool reserve hotel for a night away together this Saturday last
It was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We got greeted and checked in promptly by a lovely man. Showed to our absolutely outstanding room with spiral stairs down to the bathroom… WOW!
Ourselves and our friends who stayed at the hotel that night also booked a meal within the hotel for 7pm and the meal was delicious, just wish there was more
We also had drinks in the bar… before hand, lovely bar server too. Jimmy who was working at night was super attentive also, thank you jimmy :) The room was clean, some places were a bit dusty but non-the less it was perfect, fully stocked mini bar and comfy bed what more! Thank you so much to all the staff who made out stay.

Stayed in a decadent room. Swish without being extravagant. Felt relaxed with friendly and attentive staff. The Chez Roux Restaurant served great seasonal hearty tasting food in decent sized portions. Just what you need to get thru the dark Scottish winter. Would recommend.

What to say? The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean and modernly furnished, we had room 6, lovely room, not much in the way of a view but we didn't go to look out windows, personally I didn't sleep too well, two beds made into one huge bed, no issues with the join but the huge puffy and baggy duvet got me in knots throughout the two nights.
Service was excellent, very prompt and polite, one bar staff member was very polite and "nothing was a problem", the other member was a bit less cheerful and didn't say much but he was pleasant enough.
Now the best bit, the food is utterly amazing, kind of a less is more type serving but we were very satisfied with what we ate and didn't have to visit the chip shop later, presentation is first class and the taste,,, mmmm, beautiful, I'm a little pedantic where cutlery is concerned and although very stylish and of good quality I wasn't a fan of the knives which sit on their edge on plates, picky I know, just my thing.
I've stayed in top notch Aberdeenshire hotels and experienced silver service of the highest quality elsewhere, as a boutique hotel it does warrant the 5* rating.
All in all an excellent experience and I have no reservations in recommending a visit, I have my quirks but I'd still rate it with a 10 out of 10.

The rooms are all individual, food fantastic and service great.

The staff booking us in were attentive they helped us bringing in our luggage, they explained where we needed to go for dinner, breakfast etc. Pre dinner drinks were lovely and the appetisers were superb. Starters were ok, I had the duck which was hard to eat as the skin was like a piece of rubber, I actually had to ask the waitress if I could have a sharper knife. My husband had dessert which was a plate taster desserts he said all of them tasted lovely separately but together they all fought against each other. Breakfast was nice except for the sausage which was very course ground meat? and as it was billed as a full Scottish breakfast it missed the mark as there was no potato scone. The juice, pastries, toast and tea were excellent (top marks for leaf tea). The room was comfortable but I wouldn't score it as boutique. There was a party going on in the next room till 1 pm and if I hadn't been so tired I would have complained to the desk. In all the hotel was clean and comfortable but I don't know why it has 5 stars.

Staff 5* and drinks were the best we have had for a long time but our meal was disappointing! I don't know if it was because we were dining on a weekday evening but our starters were awful and not what we would have expected from Chez Roux. We have eaten here before but after this last visit I don't think we would return to eat but would be more than happy to return to the bar and also hope to stay at some point! Shame our meal was so poor…

We went to Scotland and we walked around to visit the most important towns but if we had known before we stopped many more days here … its cozy establishment is situated in the heart of Inverness, is a luxurious, award-winning boutique hotel, bar and restaurant, conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the main street of the town and the Castle … the duo design is modern and original and offers guest rooms with large flat-screen TV and DVD/CD player, tea/coffee/hot chocolate machine, Egyptian cotton sheets and velvet robes. In some rooms there are also iPod docks, double showers, outdoor hot tubs, private balconies and rooms on separate layers. The restaurant offers classic French cuisine in a casual atmosphere. What can I say more … maybe the rate is too honest and down to what offers this exclusive retreat.

Best steak I have ever had and chips cooked to perfection! If you take into account the service and standard it is cheaper than other eateries in Inverness.
