Avoid this place for the following reasons: Strange bad smell in building & room. Room rate at £95 rip-off for a very basic room with grumpy service and really really bad breakfast with grumpy staff. Floor and tables in breakfast room not clean, toast placed on side table “help yourself”, same for coffee and tea. Room 8 located on ground floor next to reception = noise at every check-in and check-out, Don’t book this place. We left as fast as possible.

Forget it. The room was wide and bright, pretty, but we had to sleep with the windows open all night for the unbearable smell of paint on the doors and windows. Usually, when you renovate a hotel, it closes for a few days… Also the breakfast was horrible, the worst made in Scotland, and the cleanliness could be much better.

Was due to stay tonight 10th Aug 2018 to attend a wedding however had to cancel due to medical emergency in family Lost guesthouse have not charged me that was very nice of them Callum East Kilbride.

Very friendly. Decent bed and breakfast. Clean and excellent breakfasts offered.

My husband has been staying there the last 2 weeks as he is on course in stirling, its a disgrace of a place, people always sitting at the entrance steps smoking covering the steps when people want to walk in, rooms were never cleaned and bins never emptied he had to ask for toilet paper coffee tea and sugar, my 4 year olds can make a bed better then them, drunk couples staying there fighting physically in the middle of the night. If my husband didnt pay upfront for the 2 weeks he wouldve been out of there the first day and they dont give refunds. Disgrace of a place will not be seeing us again.

Very friendly home. Newly decorated room with a lot of taste, spacious. Very very clean. The bathroom was very nice. Breakfast: choice for all tastes and I recommend the breakfast menu of the day: anything is possible. Plus: Free parking and free and fast Internet.
The castle is within walking distance. Great advantage as the parking lot of the castle pays at the height of £4.

Absolute joke of a place certain staff making up lies about residents and having them flung out in the street. Rooms crawling with ants and full of junkies and alkies. Some staff members are completely disrespectful and dishonest. I recommend any other hotel in Stirling to people looking for a nice visit.

Breakfast was amazing and lady who served us, although she looked moody was the nicest person I have ever met! Nothing was too much trouble for us.

The best: the location and the possibility of leaving the car there at no extra charge. Also the room was reformed and you couldn't hear a single noise during the night. The breakfast is amazing. Much more than advisable!
The shower was very little water (the only negative thing tarnished the stay)

Great Location and affordable price.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The Lost Guest House is a great stop over for us when we travel from Nottingham to Skye. The rooms are dog friendly and our labrador Ralph loves it there.

Great B&B clean, fresh, friendly and great full breaky. Lovely stay had by all.

Very comfortable rooms and huge breakfast and 4 minutes walk to main shopping mall.

B&B very quaint quiet courteous staff only the double bed was very small… overall nice.

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and modern Facilities. Good Breakfast. Good Wi-Fi. To find a fault, the shower had very little pressure.

Hubby and I just back from few days here. Very comfortable rooms. I had on ground level as have mobility difficulties. Clean and bright. Our dog was made very welcome. Very good breakfast. Easy access for city centre. Hubby enjoyed his fishing trip 15 mins away. Good value for money. But best if all a lovely very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be using it again soon.

Clean comfortable good location close to the town but far enough to enjoy a good night's sleep breakfast is amazing.

A bit difficult to find like the name the staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming Room quite big and clean. Breakfast was badly cooked.

Reasonably priced B&B, not far from town centre or station and bus station. Comfortable beds, good shower, can leave luggage after checking out. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Have stayed here twice and will probably stay again in October.

Small rooms but enough for just sleeping there. Good value for the money. Very nice location.

Lost Guest House was our home base exploring the UK. My husband and I were delighted with the location, amenities, wonderful made to order breakfasts and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We had the best night's sleep of that 2 week trip here (6 to be exact) — good beds and quiet at night. This is a lovely, older house in a picturesque neighborhood. We will definitely come here again!

Very nice place and a HUGE room on the first floor with a very nice walk-in bathroom. More than enough space for a family of 4. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very busy with so many guests all showing up for breakfast just before 9 when breakfast closed. They need another morning staff member. Lots of parking out front and more to the side and rear of the house.

Very bad, no coat hangers, shower room terrible, hot water, more like lukewarm, taps around bath not good, even our television was on top of wardrobe. The hotel as a whole, the carpets and other areas were good.

Very warm and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Not ultra modern or fancy but great for a wee break or visit to Stirling, ideal location in the heart of Scotland.

The lunch deal was good for a reasonable price. They've change chef recently and quality has gone down a little.

Fantastic & Wonderful Hotel. Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed fabulous service, comfort and food. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay. Our bedroom was clean and had everything we needed, all staff were friendly and helpfull and the food was to die for. Thank you we will certaily be back, and soon.

Very rude waitress, no other customers despite being lunch time on a Friday and cold baked potato (which got microwaved and placed back in front of me). Have had better meals at Stirling Royal Infirmary canteen, very disappointing.
