Filthy caravans full of dirt, rubbish, mould and mildew. Customer service is shockingly bad. Management useless. Left 4 adults and 6 children without anywhere to sleep for the night as refused to give us a different caravan that was up to the standard we booked. I am disabled and showed them proof and they go on to treat us like this! Housekeeping manager is rude. Reception staff apparently don't have the power to help us. You have ruined our children's holiday — we drove 6 hours to get here to sleep in our car! you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves!

Still here, half way through our week. Lucky we have fantastic weather and able to get out and about. The dog friendly caravan is great. Basic cleanliness and tidy. The shower is power shower. Plenty of hot water and heating. The cloud Wi-Fi is free and available all over the site. We had great connection in our caravan. The on-site shop is expensive but the chippy next door is reasonable and the food was tasty. My gripe is we only had a small fridge with a tiny boxed freezer compartment that we could only keep a bag of ice in, which we needed due to the hot weather! We were expecting a large stand up fridge freezer and all the other caravans we looked in, all had the tall fridge freezers. Very annoying. Once our fridge was full of drinks, basic needs and medication, there was no room to store much food. So we are very disappointed with that. Parking was quite close to the caravan, only one minute walk. Staff seem nice. Not used any other facilities as we don't have kids. There are a couple of nice bars near by, also some shops, a chippy and a lovely bakery. All on the way to the beach. Would recommend. But I will complain about the fridge before we leave.

Was nervous coming here after reading some negative reviews but just come back from great weekend away.
Caravan was big, clean and had everything we needed. Parking wasn’t a problem but think we were lucky to have plenty of space. Amusements and beach short walk away and lots of places to visit a short drive away (we went Prestatyn and Rhyl).
The facilities on site are small so have to arrive early for swimming and the club entertainment but no other grumbles.

Beautiful place caravan loved it nice an clean comfortable beds bin goin there since year 95 just don't like attitude of staff in garden centre I've always loved talacre but they dont have to speke to people like the way they do sorry.

Lovely clean beach, great cafes and parking. Kids had a fab time.

Staffs are very rude, appalling customer service, do not follow safety covid guidance rules, have spoken to welsh authority and waiting for their feedback, avoid this horrible place.

Very dog friendly … caravan very clean. Had everything we needed … single beds little small but we are a family of 4 adults will be great for children …

Beautiful beach, nice and quiet.
Great for walking but lacking amenities, 1 cafe, pub and shop. No public toilets so you have to queue to use the pub's portaloo. Not ideal.

The space to walk, and rest a busy mind. The space to walk one's Dog, and meet other Dogs, and their owners. The ever-changing tides bringing in new birds and flotsam to inspect. Memories of an active childhood and old friends — long ago.

We are newer owners on Talacre Beach and the last 3 months have been amazing, we absolutely love it here. Our children aged 12, 3 and 1 1/2 all love coming here. The facilities are clean, well kept and cared for.
The entertainments teams are fabulous and work so hard to ensure the kids and adults have an amazing time all day and night, every single day. There is a huge range of entertainment available from the Go Active sports team (have to mention Jaydon here) he really makes the children feel welcome and encourages them to give anything a go! To the rangers that provide many different activities throughout the day aimed at a large age range and the kids disco of an evening is fabulous.
Going later into the evenings there is an array amazing acts booked alongside the fabulous performances from the incredibly hard working rangers who really do put their hearts and soul into their work. The bars and food are all reasonably priced and the facilities themselves are modern, clean and really enjoyable to be in. It really is a lovely place to holiday with a welcoming, friendly feeling that other sites with similar aims just aren’t able to contend with (in my opinion). Our children are truly living their best lives in this beautiful family resort. We could not recommend it enough!
We look forward to every single weekend we get to come! So thank you for all your hard work. We are a very happy little family of 5! Xx.

Lovely 3 day break, kids loved it, entertainment was great, all staff were lovely, food was ok, but overall caravan was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Weve had a brilliant long weekend here. The kids dont even want to leave. The pool is the best I've been to, so warm its lovely. The childrens entertainment was spot on. All the staff have been kind and friendly. The caravan was perfect for us. No. 125. Although it was at the back it was just a 5 minute walk to everything but was nice and quiet. I cant wait to come back here. It's been a perfect holiday. Thank you x.

Such wonderful family memories were made here every staff member we came across were very friendly and helpful, and there was plenty to see and do.

Great for dogs lovely and clean. There is a fee to park but it was free today. Lovely bars, cafe, local shop and bakery can't wait to return.

I would recommend everything. Staff, food, facilities were excellent.

Had a great week here so far, we sadly leave tomorrow. Caravan was lovely and clean. There's an onsite shop, chip shop and club house with on site restaurant. Staff are great, there's entertainment every evening and planned events for the kids through the day. Talacre Beach is a stones throw away from the caravan site, beautiful clean beach with miles of sand.

This place could be quite decent if it wasnt for the poor standard of staff! Rude, incompetent and don't give a hoot about customers or good service!
I would usually email a complaint but given they don't care I don't see the point! would not recommend to anyone.

Just come back from here great resort and right near the beach we had a problem with the toilet and they came and fixed it within 30 minutes best holiday we’ve had and will be booking again.

Clean beach, it is one of the few places where we get to be a "normal" family. Lovely friendly people, locals and visitors, never too busy. Excellent day out to get away from "the rat race". Lovely snacks and quirky shop near too.

Great beach to walk dogs, plenty of space to let them off to run and enjoy. Plenty of parking, clean and well kept areas.

A place to park on the foreshore at talacre. No charge really good beach the lighthouse is a local Land mark well worth a visit.

Great place to take kids and dogs. Beach is mainly sand. Good selection of cafes and public house's. Car park on beach get very busy.

Very nice place to visit with the light house on the beach but there is no wheelchair access to the beach so I could not see the light house only when I was flying my drone I could see it.

Very busy on a nice weather day. Difficult to get in and out.

Great little car park, right in the beach front, and free which is even better these days, but you do drive past two carparks that want to charge, its a little uneven, so wouldn't recommend to cars with little ground clearance, but your average car should be fine as long as you take your time.

We have just returned from a 7 day break & wasn’t really sure what to expect. We were impressed with the caravan & general park. The children’s entertainment was great & my boys enjoyed all of the activities, the pool was a particular favourite & the ‘go active’ activities. My only quibble was last nights comidian wasn’t really ‘family’ entertainment. Maybe he should have been saved for ‘adult only’ sat night. Overall we had a great time & it is a great base for other areas in wales. I will recommend to friends. Thanks for a great break.

We've only been here a few hours and I'm already appalled by the service. Our booking paperwork stayed we could check in from 2pm but they said it was usually 4pm and that housekeeping hadnt finished with it but they would call us as soon as it was ready. We returned to reception at 345 to be told it still wasn't ready. To be honest the impression I got was that they had no intention of letting us check in till they were good n ready.
When we finally got the key we arrived at a caravan that looked dirty from the outside and as far as I could tell hadn't been touched by housekeeping, dust everywhere, bedding rolled up on the bed, a dirty microwave, a freezer that was unusable as it had been rammed with ice and to top it off the supposed welcome pack was passed through the door after we arrived and contained a rubber duck but no toilet roll; a duster but no milk for the coffee and tea.
This is a place that has definately been miss sold by hoseasons, it is not as close to the beach as the brochure would have I believe and the only decent services are off site.

Car parks improved but facilities and beach gone very downhill, more sludge than sand.

Traditional beach with lighthouse and arcades food outlets and pubs along the way. Delightful place.

Firstly our caravan wasnt ready when we arrived so had to wait till 5pm with a 6 month old baby in the heat we went for a drive. When we got the keys we were told we couldn't park next to the caravan so this was a bit off struggle unloading a weeks worth off stuff. The sofa was not very comfortable. The caravans are nearly on top off each other so not much privacy at all. The car space we thought was for are caravan wasnt allocated accourding to security so alot off the time we had to park away from are caravan which wasnt veey good. Although caravans are narror and small anyways we found this so tight. Also the microwave was to High up for a small person everthink was a high level. There's not much to do on the site and if you haven't got a car then your pritty much stuck there. I wouldn't stay here again we normally stay at robyn hood rhyl but thought we would try somewhere different but wouldn't come back here again.

Loved it parking was only 20pence for 2hrs and the place seems to be stuck in a time warp beautiful tidy it's a must if you like peace and quiet.

The car park was closed due to the risk of flooding if there is a high tide. Better to park in one of the nearby car parks and walk a little further.

Love going to Talacre Beach with the dogs. It is so dog freindly. And the few shops they have are fab. Small but something for everyone. The chips and sausage from the chip shop are to die for. The bakery have a great range of sandwiches, pies cakes ect. Then there is the cafe for your all day breakfast. There are even 2 pubs. (1 does Sunday roast). Then there is a huge shop that sells everything from gifts to sweets cloths ect. We can't forget the arcades too. Hope I have not forgotten anyone.

Just spent an amazing 3 nights, the park was lovely. Lots of entertainment and plenty for the kids. The area is beautiful and so much to explore! The kids especially loved the pool and the disco! Staff always friendly and helpful. Would also highly recommend the point bar and restaurant a short walk away.

Brilliant place for all family to enjoy the beach. Good path for cycling or walking around the dunes as well.

Can't comment on car park itself, but Talacre beach is lovely. Kids and dog love a good play down here.

Beautiful, huge, dog friendly beach. Clean sand and water. Careful at low tide, as it gets very muddy in places and you are in danger of getting stuck!

I can't believe I'm reviewing a car park. It has to be 5 stars. It does exactly what it says. I parked my car and it was still there when I got back!

Do not get caught out with the pub parking go to the public car park, a good seaside walk here.

Car park cost £2 all day take your dogs in the pub brilliant.

Really good breach the cafe there has a good menu for the family also two pub, s chip shop pie and cake shop and other shop across the road selling all sorts from givets households stock to fishing stuff for the kids.

Lovely beach walk and a cosy cafe to finish what more could you ask for.

Good to park here for the beach. Watch the tide times. Toilets a long walk and not many.

Not too many spaces but good road surface. Big sign up saying pay £2 in the cafe.

Good location and its free to park but extremely poorly maintained. It's very swampy and car was splattered with mud. Also ground extremely uneven and holes in the ground. Car was all over the place!

Was very windy and cold not a good day to judge but sure on a nice day it would be lovely.

What can you say about a carpark!, Plenty of room when we arrived and 4 hours parking for £2.00, plenty of time for children to play on the beach.

Lots of puddles some quiet deep ones other than that not bad for a car park.

The car park has now been expanded, its just a 2 min walk from the lovely sandy beaches and lighthouse.

Accesible, 20p first 2 hours then £2 for 4 hours. Only coins accepted. If you're travelling with small kids, it's a 12 minutes walk to the beach. The paths could be better signalled bit overall a fine place to visit.

Reasonably priced car park & the beach was better than I was expecting with a nice mixture of pebbles & sand. Decent beach experience with some shops & amusement arcade etc.

Car park is cheap (well done Flintshire CC) close to the beach and sand dunes and also the coastal path. There is also the coastal cycle path. Great place to walk your dog. Local amenities bakery, pub, Cafés, hardware store, small amusement arcade.

Good value, nice caravans, close to a lovely beach, good entertainment!

I live there so well good.

It is a great place for any age. I go there all the time. There are arcades aprox 2mins away. However in the club at night go upstars and there is a sweet shop. The staff are brilliant always helpinng. The is a room for kids to go in and there is a film you can watch, play games, draw ect. There is entertainment on of the night and sometimes in the day. There is a timetable for all of the kids activitys day and night. The fish and chip shop is amazing!

Staying here at the moment, park and caravan is gorgeous, staff really lovely and helpful. Downsides are really poor (although free) Wi Fi and virtually no phone signal and we're yet to get a good night's sleep due to so many seagulls making so much noise right outside/ on top of the caravan they're driving me mad!

Really enjoyed the stay here. Enjoyed the on site facilities. Liked the fish and chip shop excellent value for money. However the onsite supermarket is expensive. There are local branded supermarkets not far away to get your basic necessaties. Rhyl is a few miles down the road for a fun day out. I had one big problem here and that is there is an extremely weak Internet connection and a poor phone signal. This problem needs addressing asap if we are to return here. The other problem is you are very lucky if you get a parking space anywhere close to the mobile home.
