Atmosphere great in the Holland tonight. Friendly staff. Excellent food
6 of us had different meals and they were fab. Presented well. Tasted great. Can't believe we not been over before now

Had 2 roast dinners with pudding today, absolutely gorgeous. Loads of it. Yorkshire pudding was amazing. Husband had lemon drizzle and I had apple and berry crumble absolutely delicious. Will definitely have again.

First time ordering from here to have a special treat during lockdown for my birthday and it was delicious! So much food I’m full to the brim, we had pudding and starter too and couldn’t finish Fast delivery and piping hot food — thank you very much.

First visit as was recommended by a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness from the staff and the locals. Good food and efficient service all round. Relaxing atmosphere where you felt comfortable talking to the staff working there. We will be back.

Collected my Sunday Beef Dinner at 2 pm today, Drove Home to Valley and it was still piping Hot, So very tasty and enjoyable, Fantastic Service … Highly Recommend.

During lockdown we have had a few meals delivered to our home. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. Our favourite is the sticky toffee pudding. Home cooked and delivered with a smile. Thank you Liz. Pleased to help a local business. Will recommend to others.

How nice to go in to a pub for a 'home cooked' Sunday lunch and finding it was both home cooked and served huge desserts that were excellent. Real value for money — a little gem.

This is my second home. Excellent place to stay. Liz & Steve run this award winning pub 3 awards in 3 years. It’s a community pub with events throughout-each month for a great warm welcome from all The locals day and night. The staff are second to none, polite helpful and nothing is to much trouble (the locals will take pleasure in helping you find what your looking for from fishing to walks or just a quiet place to chill) a dog friendly pub too. Excellent food very reasonably priced and is locally sourced. Four letting rooms all to a high standard. I will always Recommend this place as it never disappoints. We were going to stay here over night in our motorhome as a Brit stop. We always have a meal as a thank you for a free stay over. The first thing I noticed was the untidy car park, broken glass and rubbish. After reading previous reviews before we decided to visit, we were bewildered with our welcome. The bar man never smiled, I asked about the Irish band advertised for that evening. I received a sarcastic answer from a punter. I felt very uncomfortable at the ignorance of the bar man. We drank up and left sharpish.

This place is one in a million! Over the years I’ve stayed in many places to me this is the Best! A community pub and what a community. There is nothing I can fault about the Holland. Liz and Steve hosts can’t do enough for you. When you walk through the door you become one of a large family. The rooms have every thing you need at the end of the day it’s for sleeping with all you need tea coffee the lot. The breakfast was more than enough for me. Your evening meal has a wide choice all cooked to perfection. The bar has a wide selection of Beers wines, ciders, sprits. The girls who serve are polite helpful and join in the banter and crack. Best stay I’ve had! A big thank you to you all see you very soon. John.

Lovely bar staff. So friendly and inviting. Food was amazing and well priced.

I visited the lovely area and first met his son by pure coincidence (Also Steven) in a shop, he struck up a conversation about my "poorly leg" My scar has a huge scar on it and his son noticed and was being sympathetic to it by pointing out to his mum that it was injured. I stepped out of the shop and Steven his dad (by pure coincidence) was outside his lovely pub, we had a fab conversation on our introduction and he kindly bought me a drink! Lovely family. Great atmosphere, they are civil, friendly and perpetuate all that is good in mankind. If this write up seems romanticised it isn't, I had just been through possibly one of the most harrowing and detrimental relationships I had ever encountered. My new partner had gone through the same times ten, and there were times when it was getting impossible to even crawl out of bed without some type of retribution or unsavoury act being bestowed on us. You never ever know what someone is going through. Some people's act of kindness no matter how small serves to remind you. I will return.

Liz and ste were great very welcoming pub and the locals were great too even the barstaff that were off that night were great company to drink with "gemma" I think her name was we definitely will be coming back for sure thankyou for a great afternoon of drinks and laughter to you your staff and locals guys xx.

Quite possibly the best pub in Anglesey! Very welcoming and friendly! The regulars are lovely and also very welcoming! :) The food is fantastic and the choice of alcohol is more than great :) Liz and Steve are really lovely and they make you feel very welcomed :) I highly recommend visiting the hotel/pub as you won't be disappointed I can promise you that! :D xx.

Not sure it is possible to put into words how fantastic this pub is, From the moment we walked into the Holland we were given the warmest greeting by everybody! Steve and Liz you are both amazing, you and all of the locals taking us in to be part of your lovely pub family made our New Years so special! We couldn't of asked for anywhere better to spend it than with all you amazing people! We will be back to see you all soon xx.
