Have stayed in many apartments in Edinburgh during Christmas New Year period particularly liked these as price far better very quiet and clean/free Wi-Fi etc. Underground car parking provided which is an added bonus and although looks far away from centre of Edinburgh only a 20-25 min bus journey during day (No10) to Princess St (15 mins at night) £4 for all day bus ticket and bus terminus outside flats. Asda is 5 minute walk away and additional buses 1 minute from Asda. Ocean Terminal is a 12 min walk away. Will be back next year as suited us perfectly. Only suggestion I would make is comfier pillows.

Clean apartments, nice beds, shower good underground free parking, good Wi-Fi, everything you need :-)

I absolutely I absolutely love ocean apartments very friendly staff the apartments are top-notch and the beds are very comfortable the view is spectacular looking right out onto the sea it's fantastic and walk away from ASDA and most of the shops the bus terminal is right at the door it is brilliant I love it to me 5-star apartmentsa and I go every year.

Well equipped and furnished. Although forgot my hairdryer. Spacious and great views …

We loved our stay in these apartments, it was lovely and clean, location was ideal, we have stayed here before so when looking at returning to Edinburgh there was never any doubt we would use these again. BUT on our return home we received an email saying they would be charging us a £100 cleaning fee because they claimed someone had been smoking in the apartment, as neither my husband or I have ever smoked we contested this, they claim that there was ash and cigarette burns on the window ledges, as these were clean when we left we would recommend that people take photos before they leave as proof as someone is obviously trying to get more money out of you. We would have recommended these apartments to family and friends but not now.

These apartments are perfect for a home away from home. Ours was very spacious, clean and comfortable. With the No 10 bus on your doorstep you can park up and leave the car and just go exploring. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely lovely apartments, the staff were fantastic and always at hand to help. So much information was provided in the pack including emergency telephone numbers, local places to eat, shop and visit.
Late check in was arranged instantly and the process was so easy to follow.
Bonus upgrade on the way there to a deluxe suite.

Would recommend. Massive apartment with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Friendly staff! Give it a try!

We are currently staying in these apartments and they are fabulous! It's just like home from home, clean, very spacious, very well equipped and a perfect for visiting Edinburgh. Our room is on the 5th floor facing out over the harbour, what a fab view to wake up to every morning! We can see the Royal Yacht Britannia (which we went on board yesterday — awesome experience) and now, there is another beautiful Windsurf Yacht anchored. The no 10 bus is a few yards away which takes you into Princes Street so parking headaches avoided! There's even an underground car park for guests to use. We love this apartment, the location and facilities. We shall be back to stay here and would recommend Ocean Apartments as a fab base for exploring a beautiful city! Oh, there's a massive Asda as well across the way! Hope this review helps.

Fantastic place to stay we have just returned home today after a 3 night stay in a family room on 2 floors x brilliant views of Edinburgh and the number 10 bus straight to town means you don't need to drive will definitely return again at some point x.

I am from Birmingham and Edinburgh was recommended to me by a friend and particularly Ocean Apartments! I have since visited Edinburgh 3 times and I always stay at Ocean Apartments. Most recently, I was a solo traveller and booked the Family Apartment because I enjoy the extra space, great value for money may I add! I was pleasantly surprised I had 2 floors, which was epic! Another amazing part was going to the Asda around the corner from the apartment and doing my shopping for the apartment. I did not want to eat out just cook for myself and watch movies, whilst I was indoors. This apartment definitely enhanced my experience of Edinburgh in general. The location is so peaceful and quiet. I hope to come back very soon!

Great place to stay if you need that extra room for the kids. Lovely apartments and we had great views too. Buses on the doorstep to the centre was an added bonus.

Me and my wife stayed there for our brithday with the kids loved the views. They even upgraded us, every one was so nice can't fault the customer service, the apartment was very clean can't fault anything and u can take DVDs from reception for free and buses are there all the time to get to city centre. Will stay again every time I go.

Had a great stay with the family in Edinburgh, the accommodation was top notch and the view from the window out of the Royal yacht and the docks was great. A modern spacious apartment with everything you need catered for, every day the rubbish was cleared away and new toilet rolls every day. We had a great stay and would recommend this to any one wanting a great location to stay. Bus to the city centre is every 10 minutes from outside the apartments and is only £1.50 single for adults and 70p for the kids. Bus takes 20 minutes to the city centre.

Beautiful! The only bad thing was that we lost almost all of the day because there was no staff attending. The lousy employee, the next day the young ladies who attended excellent service.

I booked on booking, arrived in a spacious two bedrooms flat, spend two nights, felt great.

I booked a one bedroom apartment so was pleased to find for whatever reason I had been given a two bedroom as it meant my fiancée and I had a bathroom each making getting ready in the morning a doddle as we didn’t need to fight for the shower, that said I felt the level of maintenance for a “Smart Apartment” was lacking such as a gash in the apartment hallway carpet and paint flaking in parts and furniture, well used given me the impression this apartment was due for refurbishment. The apartments are advertised as secure underground parking and advise that you insist this is honoured, ad when I booked was told “They are plenty of spaces but cant guarantee availability, but parking is available on the road outside” but in truth parking outside of the apartments comes as a free for all and first come including trade vans parked over night. That said other than a couple of trips in the car left the car and used an impressive bus service from a few hundred yards away from the apartments. The apartments do offer a free Wi-Fi service but I found that this timed out on a daily occurrence meaning I had no Wi-Fi until reception opened the following day to reissue a pass code On the whole though these apartments were well placed for visitors wishing to explore Edinburgh and its surroundings in a quiet area but did I feel I got value for money?. Space for improvement.

Great location outside the City centre so nice and quiet however there are excellent transport links and it's close to other points of interest like The Royal Yacht Britannia. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the accommodation is to a high standard.

Great location, although I was glad to have the car available. Ocean Terminal was nearby which included plenty of shops, restaurants and the Cinema as well as the Royal Yacht Britannia. Nice apartment with an excellent view of the Royal Yacht and Edinburgh Castle.

This place was awesome. Quiet, lovely views on sunrise. These beds are huge. Will definitelly stay again.
