Small friendly hotel good choice on menu rooms comfortable and clean good location for touring enjoyed our stay here.

Generally quite pleased. Food was good and staff pleasant but little things let it down. Wallpaper peeling in places, a lack of power point in room for charging phone, no 2 pin socket for shaver or toothbrush and no Wi-Fi other than in the main lounge.

Brilliant place bedrooms clean staff will bend over backwards to help only down fall was the lounge it needs updating.

Clean room, good efficient breakfast service, bar and restaurant closed on a Saturday night.

This was very disappointing it needs complete refurbishment the wallpaper was hanging of the walls and the lady on reception was very unhelpful I took pictures to claim recompense. The room was very stuffy and looked out onto a littered roof and they could not be more unhelpful. The hotel looked like it belonged in the sixties.

Came here on an Alfa coach trip. Originally booked into a room at the far end of hotel, as we had asked for a quiet room, unfortunately my husband has very poor eyesight and found the layout of the corridors, low ceiling difficult to maneuver. We asked if any rooms still available to change. Thankfully they were able to accommodate our needs. Room always clean. Good selection of food. Good entertainment. And friendly polite staff, which makes this a good experience. Thank you!

Enjoyed a lovely Easter weekend here, single room very spacious. Every were very clean Food well cooked and friendly welcoming staff.

I have been very pleasantly surprised at the comfort and value for money that this hotel offers. Staff are extremely charming, lounge and bar warm and comfortable. Food portions could be larger but we don’t need that. Some painting required but that is irrelevant in this setting. Would definitely return. Came with KM Travel March 2018.

Our stay at the George IV Hotel was a very good experience. Staff were friendly and helpful to all our needs throughout our stay. Room was excellent with plenty of space and great en-suite facilities. All meals were sufficient and served by competent and pleasant staff. Thank you to you all at the George IV Hotel.

Great hotel. Pity the resort did not have much to offer.

Tired and a bit dated though some rooms have been modernised. Food ok.

Turned out to be a really pleasant stay! The room was light and airy with all the required facilities (albeit the walls need decorating) and a lovely view of Cardigan Bay, but unfortunately the view of Criccieth Castle was obscured by an overgrown tree!

Lovely place to stay for all criccieth has to offer and hotel is ideally located with very helpful staff to make your stay more enjoyable.

The food was nice and the bedroom where ok as well.

This is a very friendly hotel. Well run, clean and tidy. Primarily a hotel for touring coaches it is nonetheless a great choice for the independent traveler as well. A hotel I have visited many times in the past and one I look forward to visiting again.

The food is excellent — and there are 3 choices of starter, mains and dessert and 7 vegetarian options. It is an older 2 star hotel but we found all we needed. Restuarant staff are young Cental Europeans and move fast, but we weren't hurried. Cleanliness is good. The scaffolding is still there and no sign of work to finish the window replacement but it doesn't spoil the experience.
