Lovely staff, great location, good size rooms that are plushly furnished. The room service was also very organized, with food arriving piping hot. Amazing weekend in this vibrant and super friendly city. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Poor breakfast, no bread and minimalist service.

Decoration is good, very design sense, is the place is too small, elevator small, room small, narrow corridor, small hall, lobby door has steps, but no slope, pull very heavy luggage is very tired.

First class. Centre of Glasgow, near all the main shopping and eating areas with exceptional staff and comfortable, quiet rooms. Breakfast worth the money and staff can't do enough to help. Highly recommended.

Most rooms are small boxes. Best rooms are on two levels but are freezing even with heating on. No drawers in any rooms, no towel rails in bathroom, spare loo roll stored in living room etc all very weird. Also very noisy hotel. Outside noise is more than jut normal city noise. Apart from the drunks singing, there's a karaoke bar, pubs and restaurants nearby. Also buses and cars pulling away from traffic lights make lots of noise (busy busy route). To top it off management tried to add an extra £320 to our bill for upgrading us even though it as their choice and unasked for!

Great stay here for birthday with complementary prosseco and lovely card from staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the shower is amazing. A great mini break location.

Fantastic friendly staff, a warm welcome from the reception team, delicious food, amazing breakfast — the smoked salmon and poached eggs on sourdough toast or the American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are my favourites. The location is perfect as its so central, located on bath street and perfect for shopping, gigs, nice nights out or exploring the city. The rooms are clean and modern with comfy king size beds and my partner and I always have a great sleep and a great stay here. Cant wait to go back.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and professional. Very clean and modern. Room layouts are great with plenty of space. The location was perfect! We couldn't say enough good things about this hotel. We plan to revisit very soon. Thank you to all the staff!

Great hotel perfect room and employee listening.

Located in the city centre of Glasgow, the Apex is a modern and nice hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room I had was decently sized with a big window front. There were enough sockets for all chargers I had with me. However the room was very cold and I had to set the heating to 24 degree to get a decent room temperature. The breakfast is ok, good by British standards in this price category. I ate only once in the restaurant. The restaurant staff was new and inexperienced and they forgot my order so I had to wait over 45 minutes for my food. The shift manager was very apologetic about this and gave me a 10£ voucher and a free drink when she noticed this issue. The burger was good.

Really liked this hotel. The room was faultless (fantastic shower too) and the breakfast was very good and served quickly. Everything was clean and the staff were excellent. Top marks. I'd happily stay there again.

I like this hotel when your walking down Bath St it stands out. Its modern hotel good location, good staff also make good coffee. Would recommend if your visiting the city its good spot for pubs, clubs, restaurants and shopping.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was very noisy outside until 4.00am not much the hotel could do about it due to location. Was disappointed with some aspects of the room that needed repair e. G. The window was taped up with gaffa tape. Clearly it did not close properly and should gave been repaired.

This is a lovely central hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I've stayed here several times in the past year but on four occasions I've discovered wee stains on the toilet seat despite the room having been 'cleaned'. The staff though were very quick to rectify this each time.

Surroundings lovely but afternoon tea not great. Sandwiches a bit hard. Cakes nice though and a good variety.

Fantastic room, lots of great features such as access to a fridge, hair dryer, safe, ironing board and a wardrobe. Very comfortable and a brilliant atmosphere. Next time I'm in Glasgow I will be booking here!

Stayed here for 2 nights with work in June 2017. Lovely room with comfy bed, and the shower was really good. Room was clean and reception staff were helpful. Lastly restaurant food was really good.

Of the 6 hotels and B&B's we stayed at during our trip, Apex had the nicest entertainment/TV setup, as well as air conditioning for those rare hot days. The bed was good, bathroom was fancy. Overall, very nice accommodation if you need to stay in for any reason… But I hope you don't need to against your plans!

A lovely hi tech room with AC and a large well-padded bed. Included was access to Sky to keep you entertained. The shower room was a lovely size, and the shower was excellent. Their breakfast range was very good. I opted for the full English, which was divine.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Glasgow, bit of noise at night but to be expected for the location. The plumbing in our room needed a bit of work as the shower took 20 minutes to drain meaning you couldn't​ have a longer shower as the water would overflow into the bathroom. The toilet would run water indefinitely unless you went back and pressed the button a minute after using. The sky TV with movies was a nice addition that we weren't expecting but for some reason would intermittently turn on and off making it unwatchable. Second time staying in an Apex hotel, there will likely be a third as even with the issues they're great hotels.

Good hotel, convenient location, but tiny rooms. For the same price there are better 4star hotels in the same area.

Was here for a stag weekend in Glasgow. Fantastic hotel. Staff were excellent, TV had sky sports in bedroom and shower was powerful. Comfy bed. I actually enjoyed the hotel on a stag because it was a good hotel rather than the usual dives that stags go to.

Close to station. Middle of vibrant city centre. Brand new hotel, big rooms, big bed, lovely breakfast and brilliant staff.

Good location nice renovation.

The room was nice apart from the air conditioner grinding and clunking (not a healthy sound for an air conditioner. The doors do not soft close … More like a sonic boom so when the 2 rooms next to us were coming and going (approximately 20 tines between 3am and 6 am) it made then night unbearable. Then the brecfast came. There was only sweet croissants and toast. No jams Al's no salad based produce such as tomato. There was serials but had to end up having a croissant coated in suger with ham and tomato ketchup. Not acceptable. Absolute car crash of a stay. Would advocate not to go back.

Excellent hotel with lovely rooms at a very good price.

Rooms were modern and we'll laid out with USB power points and normal power points near the bed. Nice clean spacious bathroom and the food in the restaurant was great too.

Nicely furnished room, great powerful shower and a good big comfy bed.

We enjoyed the stay in this hostel with my partner. The staff was really welcoming and the room was really neat and clean. Our room, at the last level, was on 2 floors with an amazing view (one side is totally made of window).
The last star is missed because of some "cheap" features : the bathroom was small and the flush was partly broken, the toilet paper was cheap, and the breakfast not amazing (cheap orange "nectar" for example), except for the haggis.

After being given a dark and noisy room at first the staff kindly let us change it for a very comforting light and rather quiet room with nice scenery without paying more. So I can recommend Marks Hotel in Glasgow wholeheartedly.
