My wife and I wanted a short break as she is recovering from chemotherapy and originally planned to go to great Yarmouth or Southend and stay in a Premier Inn. The problem was that if my wife was unwell and didn't want to go out we would be stuck in a hotel room. We looked around and found hare Lodge. I can only say, what a delightful place. It was quiet, warm, well decorated and gary and Tracey were lovely hosts. We paid for breakfast and it was lovely, fresh eggs, local sausages, bacon and black pudding. And the towels in the bathroom were so (que Agnes from despicable me) FLUFFY! we have no hesitation to recommend this anyone. It was excellent.
