Nice and comfort… people very nice.

Held hostage this morning as id lost my ticket to get out the car park receptionist said there was nothing she could do. Duty manager gave me a ticket that didn’t work unhelpful staff at the snowdome 35 minutes to get out the place surely that’s kidnapping!

Just a short walk to all shops n pub, friendly staff would highly recommend.

Thank you to all the staff who are working so hard to provide a good service during the current situation, clean & comfortable accommodation.

We recently came to the Snowdome! on leaving we found we had our tyre slashed! The Snow done were useless. However the Holiday inn were wonderful, checked the CCTV saw the man do it. Allowed us to stay in the reception and provided us hot drinks and juice for the kids. I can't thank the lady on shift enough 21/12/19. We waited there until the tow truck arrived! Thank you.

Disgusting and vile.
We arrived late on (8/9pm) after a long drive from the Isle of Wight with a 3 year old child. Check-in was swift and at that point thought we were in for a good relaxing stay. We were told that our room had been set up with the settee bed and everything was ready. With our late arrival we just dumped our bags and headed bag downstairs for some food. We did however notice that the settee bed was not set up. At this point it was not a problem as we were eating. We reported it to the reception who said he would sort it out straight away. After our meal we headed back to the room. Everything was set up and we were looking forward to a relaxing night. My wife got ready for bed and then stated that she thought the floor was wet. When we checked it we found it to be a pile of vomit! I headed back down to reception and requested a change of rooms. We were told that we could move but they would have to set up the settee bed again and it would be done immediately and that I would be credited with a couple of thousand points? After waiting in the new room of over 30 minutes I had to phone reception to see when they would be coming to set the bed up. 10 minutes later they arrived and set it up. We thought that this was the last of the troubles. At around 3/4am we were woken by the smell of cigarette smoke. It was that bad that the room was hazy with the amount. This carried on for about an hour before finally dispersing.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Always good. We come once a year.

Easily accessable from motorway. Lovely views.

We booked here due to location but happy we did. Very happy.

Have stayed at this hotel several time and actually use the chain in other areas to visit family. This is the worst I have stayed at. I ordered an evening meal to which I waited 1hr 20 mins after asking where my meal was when it arrived could only eat half of it as it was cold. Couldn't be bothered to complain again. The carpet wasn't clean in the room. The bathroom floor had tile grout missing and the hand towel hadn't been changed as it had toothpaste on it. This hotel could do with a reverb soon.

Great place, lots of things to do in the area. We'll be going back to utilise the facilities better! And the dim blue light in the bathroom! Me and the wife liked that! Haha.

Great place to stay. Lovely bath sheets. Super breakfast polite & pleasant staff.

Staffs are really family friendly and helpful. I have 2 children that need milk, they provided the milk for free. The room was clean and nice too. Probably will stay again if have chances.

Clean tidy and efficient. A couple of things were missing at breakfast, orange juice machine wasn't working and serving spoons missing. However this was rectified within the minute. This was a particularly busy morning for the staff as there was a pop festival going off nearby. So all credit to the staff for being so on the ball. Selection of breakfast expansive, from, buffet to full English. I am impressed. The room was nice, with a nice view over the lake, the washroom clean tidy and well equipped with a comfortably sized shower enclosure that had conveniently placed shelves in the corners. Reception service prompt polite and informative. Ample parking. Just cannot think of anything that was wrong. If this is the standard of Holiday Inn Express, then I for one will make this a first choice in future.

After having a major hassle getting here with motorway work causing several hours of diversions and traffic. It was a relief to finally get here. It's took a little bit out of the way and turning in is slightly consealed too, so keep a sharp eye out. The there is plenty of parking, the hotel over looks a lake, which some rooms also have a view of too. This included the room we had. The rooms are fairly standard for a holiday inn express. The breakfast was decent, plenty of drink choices the hot chocolate was great, as was pancakes and Nutella.

Lovely hotel. Shower was great. Plug sockets in better places would be ideal ;-)

A nice hotel adjacent to the ski dome and various restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Free parking overnight. Free cold and hot buffet breakfast. Bar on site.

The beds a little bouncy but good breakfast, and clean hotel and low cost. Plenty of parking and some amazing views over the nearby lake.

Great place to stay. Basic but has everything you need. Nice fresh and clean.

Really not happy. Had booked a room for this coming Saturday for two nights. This room was for my daughter and son-in-law for their wedding night. Phoned to check it would be ok to decorate their room as a surprise and was really pleased they said yes. However, when my daughter phoned to pay up front, she told the receptionist she was the bride and the receptionist, in her infinite wisdom told her about the plans to decorate the room!
Really disappointed, I called on Sunday to complain and was promised a call back on Monday to with some sort of resolution. Having received no call by Monday evening, I rang them to be told no one there knew about it and the person who'd promised to call wasn't even in that day! Again, I was promised a call back today. By 3.30 I hadn't received a call so rang them again to be told the member of staff I'd spoken to the day before had gone home! Apparently he'd probably been 'too busy' to call me all day!
Then I was told that the General Manager wasn't in until Thursday. At which point I asked for a refund. This wasn't a problem (apart from the 3-5 day wait and us not having any more money to book alternative accommodation). The staff member called the General Manager to see if there was anything else they could do for me and admitted that the general manager didn't even know about my complaint!
Really shoddy customer service. Will be posting on trip advisor and contacting head office.

Great service. Balloons were put in room at no extra cost for son's birthday a long with a card. Would recommend.

The building and the rooms are really clean with loads of parking. The shower is great. Close to the shops and there is a bar so you can have a quick drink before you go out. There are some sweet machines if you feel like a snack and the breakfast that was included with the room was a cooked English breakfast and a choice of cereals, fruit and toast. This is also next to the snow dome.

Checked in at 4pm, paid in full, and checked out at 6.30pm. Room unfortunately dirty, with crisps from previous guests on floor, towels (clean) laid on bathroom floor, glasses from the bar dirty. Shame.

What a great stay, The accessible room was amazing very roomy which allowed me to access all parts of the room, The bathroom had a wide door perfect for my wheelchair, there was a range of grab rails around the toilet and walk in shower plus there was a shower chair perfect to bath on. There is a help alarm in the bathroom and bedroom. The wardrobe has been fitted with lower rails to allow for wheelchair users to hang up clothes. The hotel is very clean with adequate parking for all and its free for disabled. Its in a great location being right next to the Snowdome.

Stayed here as part of a mini break to the snow dome next door. Having stayed several times in the past, standards are still just good and this hotel consistently delivers a good experience. Staff are friendly and polite and the whole place is very clean. We stayed in a family room which consists of a double bed, and a couch that converts into another double bed. Great shower and lots of space. Breakfast is very busy but the staff work hard to keep the buffet stocked up. If at all possible, try and avoid the peak hours Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are modern and spacious. Bed was comfy, view from the room is good too (from the third floor). Breakfast options have everything you need and more. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Amazing place but over all most amazing is the staff! Jordan, Ellesse, Leigh was tops one and the most amazing hotel staff I ever know. Be back soon for sure! 5⭐️

My partner and I stay here a few days very month. It is very well locates for visiting Tamworth. Friendly hotel in the main and we like being here.

Friendly professional staff and happy to help. Clean room, cleaned daily. Good and free Wi-Fi too.

Comfortable overnight stay. Complimentary breakfast was good. The shower didnt work properly but otherwise the room was good. The only bad point was being given the key to our room and when we walked in, there was already someone else in there! Good job it was only mildly embarrassing.

Great place to camp out and work for the day. All communal areas were very clean. Easy to get to, good parking, which is free for hotel users. Staff happy to help set up projector etc in meeting room.

Nice helpful staff and lovely room, well placed for local entertainment. Stayed as part of a business trip and within walking distance of several restaurants and evening venues.

Everything was great as expected EXCEPT the lovely surprise drinks… I only asked for a glass of red wine and a beer for my husband as it was my birthday. Came back to the bar area to find not only the glasses and beer but a table set up with a whole bottle of wine, candles, gold star confetti and a birthday card. Thank you so much for such a kind gesture after a long day at work and on the road travelling.

Very nice hotel. Have stayed there quite a few times. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice to see bacon on the breakfast me u now.

Holiday Inn offers very nice overnight accommodation. Rooms are clean and ergonomic with A/C fitted. Great location next to a lake. The only minus is not very good breakfast.

We stayed here as a family before going to Drayton manor. The rooms were very nice light and airy beautiful shower room. The staff go above and beyond to be informative also telling you what to expect of the weather. Thanks for a comfy stay kids didn't want to leave.

Nice and modern, great value. Room was a little hot all night and other guests noisy but good stay. Nice breakfast.

We stayed at the holiday Inn on 21st July. We go every year. Amazing stay as usual. Only a short drive to Drayton manor theme park which is perfect for us. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are lovely. Staff are polite and helpful. Lovely big lake with plenty of ducks to feed. Close to amenities and the snow dome is right next door. Can't wait for our next stay. 5*service.

Everything is great. Rooms nice and clean, beds comfortable, bathroom very nice and clean as well. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is alright. Location is very good for all Tamworth attractions and retails locations as well as for Drayton Manor Theme park. Strongly recommended.

Overall a good stay. My daughter loved the sofa bed but there was a humming in one of the rooms that kept my wife awake. Staff parking his car on the path outside was annoying. Breakfast was OK but the apple juice had been watered down way too much! Staff friendly but not USA friendly. They did fix a mistake that our 2 rooms weren't adjoining quickly.

Incompetent and definitely not available staff, strongly discouraged.

The accommodation was just right but the breakfast was very disappointing. Why put vegi sausage and powder scramble egg on when clearly no one was eating it every plate in the room had left over food on them. It was vile ended up just having toast and tea and my grandsons ened up with yogurt. I want be staying in a hoilday inn again. Would of paid that little extra for a decent breakfast.

The staff were flawless. So polite and for the price I was amazed at what I got for money. I would definately stay there again.

Clean rooms, typical Holiday Inn express layout. Nice bar area. Visit let down by lack of training of bar staff, finding that the pizzas on the menu were frozen supermarket pizzas, and having part of my food order missing.

Nice place. Real nice place. Stopped here for 1 night but it felt like a long weekend away. The staff are so friendly and nothing is any trouble. Only disappointment no fridge in the room. Lol. Nice hotel I'd say one of the best anywhere in B79 thanks for my stay staff Mr marks and family.
