My partner and I had a lovely one-night stay at the Cadbury Hilton. It has an excellent gym with good spa and pool facilities. The grounds were lovely and the staff very warm and welcoming. Despite there being a wedding on the night we stayed we weren't disturbed at all in our room. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed twice and had the same experience both times. Walls paper thin, one can hear everything. Breakfast is farcical as there are too many staff running around not knowing what to do and not helping guests. Food was average pub food, but staff were polite. I couldn't sleep at all one a couple of nights due to loud drunken guests shouting, slamming doors, fighting and swearing while staff did nothing to calm them down — leaving it to me to deal with at midnight, 2am and 5am. Singularly the worst hotel experience I have had.

Visited again while my mum was over from Norfolk. I was 8.5 months pregnant and the staff we very accommodating. The bar is a lovely place to sit and relax if you're early for your table. The main menu is great and I think there's a good selection for everyone. I was a little disappointed by the dessert menu though. We've been a few times and it's been the same each time. The dessert menu seems to be an after thought which is a shame after such a great main course. But overall, lovely atmosphere, lovely food and attentive staff. Not cheap but worth it.

Location stunning, hotel lovely spa perfect didnt use the pool sauna or gym as wasn't there long enough. Nature walks fantastic. Yatton is a lovely town with a lovely family pub who went out of their way to give us dinner and make us feel welcome. Overall a great stay.

I love this hotel. The quality of service, comfortable, immaculate rooms, beautiful grounds (sit by the lake) and good parking. The suites with balconies adds an extra specail feel. The 'King Loft Suite' is very impressive but feels strange at first, with the bathroom a low wall between it and the bedroom, so the glass shower cubical is totally visible from the bedroom (Toilet is totally private) The one thing I didn't like was putting a light on to go to toilet meant lighting up the whole room.

Attended family wedding at this beautiful hotel. Lovely setting, superb rooms, great food and pleasant and friendly staff Highly recommend.

Nice place with polite people throughout. Very well kept and smart, bit pricey though. Other than that all great.

Good clean hotel, breakfast great. Staff really lovely. Room a tad dated… Thought we were in a porn film, glass walls to showerooom to bedroom, mirror walls in bedroom, and a Christine Keeler chair lol. But hey … all done in the best possible taste… Building is very nice and parking no issue at all. All in all a good stay, marked it down by a star just because room dated now and a bit tired.

Lovely setting and always will be. However visited restaurant which I had not been to for a while and it was poor. We both had different steaks and both were poor. I sent mine back and to be fair the waiter accommodated but its not the point. I did not go for a refund I wanted a nice steak/meal and should expect that with Marco branding. Not cheap too — all steaks are £30 plus all the side dishes. Again happy to pay but expect top quality. Suggest they need to change their butcher. Wont bother again until I can be confident something has changed.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the woods. It's like a serene escape from business. I love that we get facility of the pool nearby. The place is a little bit far from town center, so you might need a vehicle to get here & there. We slept at 3-person room. It's quite spacious and not cramped. Overall, it's a lovely escape and stay at the DoubleTree.

It's a very well established, high quality hotel with excellent service and a beautiful setting. It loses a star because there's a no kids allowed rule in the health club on Saturday mornings — we literally chose the hotel for the swimming pool so we were very disappointed and there was no mention of the rule anywhere until we got right down there ready for a swim.

We attended a wedding reception here recently and what a beautiful place this hotel is! Stunning surroundings. Great food and great service.

Up a long drive, the hotel sits atop the hill. Check in was swift, with the usual cookie. Canapés were on a table in reception. I was also given a free drinks voucher. Room is very nice, good size. Good toiletries in the bathroom. Incredible water pressure. Lots of plug sockets. Health Club is phenomenal! Incredible gym and pool area — all included along with free towel and padlock hire. The best Hilton I have stayed at.

Omg love this hotel although we have stayed before. I had never used the hot tub outside. Amazing loved it. Hotel cannot be faulted staff great very clean nothing too much trouble. The swimming pool fabulous. Food very good.

We had a great stop over with a nice meal in the evening. Good swimming pool for a dip in the morning and breakfast was very good. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will be returning when next down this way.

It was fine. But just fine. Not great, not brilliant. Not even good. The wetside areas had many things looking worn, tired and not overly clean. The food at the Christmas party was, again, fine. Not particularly filling or special. Veg was a bit disappointing! Breakfast was very good though!

Friendly service but a little slow. Having said that it was very busy. Food was generally very good. The steak was a little over cooked. Ask for medium but was well done. This is not my usual experience having eaten there on a number of occasions.

A study in contrasts. Some service was excellent, the front desk and the bar staff in particular, whereas the housekeeping and the waiting staff were poor. For example, when we went back to our room in the evening, we discovered that the duvet and pillows were feather; as I'm allergic we contacted the front desk for some non-feather pillows. An hour and a quarter later, after receiving more feather bedding, a mattress protector in lieu of a duvet, several more calls to housekeeping and multiple excuses, I called through to just request some towels to use as pillows. It's worth noting that when housekeeping did show up with a couple of pillows that we were left to change the covers and linen ourselves. However when I complained in the morning the front desk dealt with me quickly and efficiently, giving us a partial refund on the room, drinks vouchers, and cookies and toys for our kids. Food was either excellent (my coeliac meal, breakfast), or poor (vegetarian options at the evening buffet for my wife). The waiting staff in the evening were grumpy and unhelpful, whereas the bar staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help in every way possible. Overall, not the consistent service and quality I would expect from a brand like Hilton.

Booked in for one night only before flying to Spain. Very comfortable room, pleasant bar. Marco's steak restaurant was superb. The fillet steak was excellent as was the wine. Will certainly visit again.

Great location, especially if you wish to fly from Bristol airport. Rooms are spacious and the the bed is really comfortable. On arrival you always receive a chocolate cookie which is lush. The hotel has great gym facilities and the breakfast is lovely. If you are leaving early for the airport they will even prepare a breakfast bag for you. Th grounds are very big so it is always nice to have a walk around.

Location is great, I was here for a work training day. The free food was a bonus, tea and cakes all day! The building is amazing and there was a wedding going on on the day, great location for a wedding.

Nice and quiet hotel with free parking and Wi-Fi, no mini fridge, if you need anything like ice bucket or extra glasses, it took long time to get it. Gym and swimming pool were very good.

For me you are paying really top prices for food and drink but none of the staff we met have been trained correctly or at all if you appreciate good service think about going somewhere else.

Lovely room, AMAZING spa area with the best relaxation room I've ever been in. Lovely food too and enough plug sockets in the room which is rare these days! Will definitely recommend :-)

Spent a really lovely time here with my daughter for a spa day. Every member of staff was really polite and helpful. Food was amazing, and for dessert they didn't have what we wanted so we changed our order but then the lovely waitress suddenly appeared with the original order; they had been to the hotel to get the missing ingredient then gave us the dish gratis! The spa facilities were really relaxing with great saunas and steam rooms, an outdoor hot tub, beautiful places to sit in and out and a darkened chill out room with massive comfortable bed sofas and hammocks and ambient sound and lighting — we were both able to relax and read in there with tiny spot light lamps provided and could easily have slept. My daughter had a facial too and loved it; we both left feeling amazing, would highly recommend and not to forget it's in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by massive trees — perfect! Thank you!

We stayed a night here recently with the whole family. The team was very helpful throughout the stay, warm welcome. The decor in bedrooms seems too dark for me, but all in good shape, nothing really worn, comfy beds. The restaurant was average, service was average, too dark and not that family friendly. With small touches such as offering plastic cups and cutlery without asking would have been nice for families. Staff seemed to be in a hurry and not spending enough time with guests. Breakfast could have been better in terms of variety and quality. We did not have a chance to try the leisure bit. The whole site is very beautiful tho. I would return but only with my wife for a romantic night, not with children. Recommended hotel.

Lovely room I was in the old part of the building and really appreciated the character. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was friendly. Had problems with my room key appearing to reset itself while at friends' wedding but a lot of the other guests had the same problem.

This hotel was the biggest dissapointment of them all. I was booked in for two nights but only stayed one. I dont like to complain because im young and dont feel I have the right to be picky. However this hotel took the biscuit. I arrived and the staff seemed to be a little pretentious and I wasnt even told how to find my room. Then to actually follow the signs for the rooms you have to navigate a maze. There is a serious issue with the layout I believe. I find my room eventually and I am at first glance very happy. I have desk space, good size bed, balcony. On further inspection I find one complimentary water bottle empty, the floor a bit dirty and the room needing a bit of a dusting over. The bathroom was small and what really surprised me was the left of poo in the toilet. It confirmed that the room had not been properly cleaned. Service I would not expect to encounter in a four star hotel. I had to then check the bed and esnure that was okay, which luckily it was. I went down for dinner and was able to get a seat in the restuarante. I had looked at the menu for about 5 seconds when I received a text and went to look at my phone. The waiter thought this meant I had decided so probed my for an order after only just sitting down. I was informed at reception or by the restaurante staff that there would be some sort of party happening downstairs and thus the band were practicing. The noise was not pleasent. I order fish and chips which was over priced and tasteless.

Excellent place for food parties conferences weddings and relaxing. Great views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb food.

The Hotel pleased me very much. Here, I would stay again and again. The Spa area is super.

Had a conference and black tie dinner. Brilliant venue. Well looked after, and close to transport links.

— Slow service at the bar. Waited 10 minutes for a glass of wine. — Put name down for dinner at MPW (don't get me started on the horrid decor which include pictures of the egotistical chef plastered on every wall), was told 30 min wait but was forgotten about after 1 hour. + Food although slow to come was nice. Had the lamb which was cooked beautifully. -Hardly any service in restaraunt and they had the cheek to add service charge AND tip onto the receipt. Shocked and made to feel rude when we asked for it to be removed. — No signal at all in the rooms and standard Wi-Fi not useable. Staying here with work and could not get anything done.

Awful experience from start to finish. Terrible service. At the wedding failed to notify us of a problem with the cake. Served the incorrect food. Failed to make good on a number of promises and dealt with my complaint unprofessionally failing to take any responsobility. Avoid for all things.

Not a good experience from the start. Staff ok but not very good service, very noisy with childrens swimming lessons in pool, steam room not working, contractor repairing in pool area making lots of noise, horrible food in the lounge, cheap and tacky, FAR from a relaxing experience. Such a shame when it's something you've been looking forward to for a while and don't often get the chance to something like a spa day. Disappointed. £100 down the drain. You need to improve training, facilities and produce.

We had our Christmas function with you. We paid £42 per head. We were dismayed to see how packed the room was. We could not get to the bar, every time somebody went passed our table we had to move. Talk about money before customer service it was a disgrace. We were like sardines. One lady had a panic attack in case there was a fire and quite frankly I wasn't surprised. I got my coat at 10pm because I knew it would be impossible later. The waiters/waitresses were working hard but were under ridiculous pressure and kept forgetting people. We didn't have nearly enough veg but could not summon anybody. The food was ok but obviously again mass produced. What greed and commercialism. Well you will definitely not have our custom again. We were so looking forward to it but we were just numbers not valued customers. Whoever made the decision to cram that many tables in needs to attend a course in customer service and health and safety.

Great hotel with a nice view but nothing to do around unless you go to Bristol.

I purchased a spa day for a friend and myself. I was totally disappointed, the so called 'chill out room ' was being redecorated, the hot drinks machine wasn't working and there weren't enough seats for everyone. It felt more like a holding room. The place its self is in need of a good clean and redecoration. We wanted to chill out around the pool area, but as there were only two chairs it sent a back to the holding room. On the plus side the food was good, although we had to wait 45 mins. My overall experience was not relaxing and very disappointing. I will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

This hotel has gone downhill since I last visited two years ago. The rooms are clean but the bar area is dirty with tables not cleaned. The corridors are cluttered with trays of glasses and plates from room service. The woodwork in the rooms needs repainting. Fairly dissapointed as previously loved the hotel hence the return.

We visited doing a quick overnight, arriving at 8.30pm and catching a very early flight the following morning from bristol airport, which is less than 15 mins away. We arrived on the hotel's busiest night of the year, two Fridays before Xmas. The hotel was heaving, but we got a table in the restaurant and the service was first class, as was the food and wine, the partying guests gave it a very happy atmosphere. The room was very swish, spacious and spotlessly clean, my only regret is that we were there for such a short time.

We stayed with two small children on the way to Cornwall and had a lovely night at the hotel. The cookies were a lovely welcome and the staff very friendly and professional. An excellent room and quality of finish. The only minor gripe is that we weren't allowed into the swimming pool before 11am due to having small children, 10am would have been better.

Our room was cosy and spacious with great view. The restaurant seemed rather busy for breakfast but there was a great choice of meals. Fantastic stay.
