I had my work Christmas party last night. Although I don’t drink I expected a hotel such as the Marriott would have many alcohol free options. The bar staff were unable to make mocktails and the only alcohol free larger on offer was Becks Blue which I don’t like. Very disappointing.

Good staff excellent rooms and beds very comfortable food v good, could not fault it.

Stay here regularly and there’s a reason for that! It’s superb! Lovely friendly and helpful staff, superb rooms, super clean! wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we are in Northampton!

Got married here two years ago and had the most amazing time so went back this evening for a meal to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant manager was brilliant. Cannot recommend or thank the team here enough. Made our anniversary even more special so thank you all.

Only checked into today I’m staying for 2 nights, the room is lovely with a great balcony with fantastic views, massive bathrooms and huge bed, brilliant service so far, could not ask for more, just perfect.

I got married on the 26th September 2020 between the two lockdowns. I had to change my date 3 times due to covid and Nicola and the rest of the staff help me every step of the way during this time. I had made a date change giving The Marriott 2 days notice as I brought the date forward to accommodate my numbers keeping it at 30 instead of 15. Everyone was absolutely brilliant! I honestly can't thank and recommend this hotel enough for everything they've done to make my wedding day as special as it could be.

I had my husband’s 40th birthday surprise party here last night, and it was fantastic. The food was lovely, great DJ, and great friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband are regulars at the Marriot, and always receive excellent service. We tend to only booked the suite which is perfect for any celebrations or a cheeky night away. Large his and hers bathroom with a walk shower and a whirl pool bath. Patio or balcony depending if your ground or high floor. Massive bed, and lounge area. Overall highly recommend.

I went there for a wedding but I had my 2yr old. The staff knew exactly how to support me so my son didn’t wonder off. Very thoughtful staff and excellent customer service x.

This hotel is amazing we were made to feel welcome from start to finish and would deffo recommend them to others wishing to stay, the receptionists are very friendly & well mannered the Restaurunt staff were amazing & bar staff too, anyone wishing to celebrate something special this is the place to be.

The place itself was lovely! Shame about the customer service at the bar! The member of staff said no more than 7 words to us! Here was our conversation! The lady: What can I get you?
Me: 2 cokes please.
(Staff pours the drinks) …
Staff: £4.40
(We gave her £10 — Staff member goes to the till gets change)
Staff: £5.60! And that was it?! NO PLEASE! NOT EVEN A THANK YOU! I just looked at my partner and said WOW! There was about 2 others standing at the bar! So wasn’t overly busy! I Was gobsmacked! I’ve been working in customer services for 10 years now! My manager would of shot me! Best of it is we had been looking at this as a venue for our wedding! That made our mind up!

Surprisingly tranquil with grounds out of the back.
Only issue I have is I was being served in the bar and half way through the order the bar man was interrupted and distracted by a colleague who seemed to think they were more important. Sorry but who is the customer?

So far the Marriott hotel, seems very good, good en-suite, and peaceful.

Loved the hotel staff, loved our gorgeous sunshine suite with large terrace/balcony overlooking the park and lake.

Stayed last night. Very nice room and comfortable bed but was disappiinted by receptionist who booked us in and out. She gabbled details of hotel to us. Did not make eye contact and just waved towards room area. I was not impressed. She needs people skills training. All other staff were lovely and friendly.

Just used conference meeting rooms. Adequate room. Basic chair and tables. Very basic facilities.

Surprised by this Marriott. There for a wedding plus reception. Normally Marriotts are superclean but toilets were dirty with overflowing paper towels at 4pm and even worse by 11pm. Drinks were expensive and normally don't mind if the hotel exudes a certain level of ambience or luxury but no proper Gin glasses upset the ladies in our group — tables left full of empty glasses for very long period. Generally a hotel I thought which needs some better managerial oversight.

Only spent time here in the bar, but the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Nice big car park.

A good motel-standard Marriott with friendly staff, easy road access and all that you need in terms of staff and facilities.

Held our wedding here. Had a fantastic day. Staff are very friendly & take care of their guests very well.

Myself & my husband held our wedding here at the weekend. We had a lovely time. Nicola, Jenny and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and well cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better day, thanks to you all. We would certainly do it all again if we could as they all made everything flow so easily throughout the whole day.
Our guests were more than impressed by the staff and the food, so compliments to the chef and their team there too.

For close to £200 for B&B I'd rate this tired hotel with a single star. Only the great service in the restaurant rescued their rating. Would recommend looking elsewhere for a place to stay.

Booked this as Radisson plaza prices were rediculous. Pleasantly surprised. Staff have been of a high standard and the room is more than I expected.

A great hotel in terms of service, cleanliness and facilities. Breakfast was great and we're disappointed were didn't get to try the steak for dinner! The suite with jacuzzi and balcony was lovely, you could hear traffic from nearby roads but not a big deal. Would stay again.

Another fantastic Marriott hotel. Staff were friendly from check in to check out. Plenty of parking outside. My room was clean and well maintained with plush bed. Nice TV and shower. Food at breakfast and dinner was great and healthy with quick service.

Great place for a weekend away. Facilities are good. Only down side is the service fee they wake on everything that they don't tell you about. This includes the drinks at the bar but you don't know you've been charged it until you've paid and looked at the receipt. 12.5% is alot to pay extra on a drinks round. Left a bad taste in my mouth and slight spoild the overall experience.

Large Marriott hotel perfectly located for a meeting at Brackmills. Good fitness centre, meeting space, bar and restaurant. The rooms are pretty spacious and the car park is a good size. A popular location for Speed Awareness Courses, but there are other much happier reasons to visit the hotel — a bottle of Cast Iron Ale is at least one of them!

Nice and clean, food was good, bar staff kind enough to carry my order of drinks to the table I was sitting at. I think a few extra speakers are required to help for the people sitting near the back to hear the person speaking. But would be happy to go back there!

Me and my partner fell in love with this hotel and have chosen it as our wedding venue for 2020. Nicola the wedding planner is amazing and so helpful. Responds quickly to emails. The venue looks gorgeous and I can't wait for my wedding day ❤

Lovely hotel if a little in need of some refurbishment, oh and a guest lift would be good. The staff were wonderful and made the whole experience fabulous. Would highly recommend and will return.

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable rooms, especially the beds, free Wi-Fi throughout hotel, nice restaurant with expansive breakfast buffet. Leisure facilities are very good too. Ample free parking and conveniently situated just off A45

Have stayed here for the last 4 years for an event we attend. Hotel staff are brilliant and the amenities are great. Only gave 4 stars as dont find the bed comfortable enough and the pillows aren't great either.

A very comfortable quiet overnight stay. Not one complaint. The bed was huge, the telly was huge, the breakfast was huge. Mauricia on the desk was friendly helpful and personable when I arrived. Please ensure she gets some recognition.

Very pleasant. Rooms are clean and tidy, lovely big television. Tea and coffee with biscuits are in the room as well as travel cups for the morning, which I thought was a great idea!

Had a very nice stay at the Northampton marriott hotel. A relaxing time laying by the pool & the service of the staff was excellent. Will definitely be staying again.

Went to the winter wonderland Christmas function. Lovely set up very nice staff and the food was great. Well done to all.

Attended a seminar here. Staff were courteous and attentive. Room was correct temperature and all refreshments were plentiful and tasteful.

Rooms are well sized, temperature control in room, decent black out curtains, comfy beds and good TVs with HDMI capabilities. The leisure center is included in the stay, with a small pool (not quite suitable for lengths), jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and a decent sized gym. Breakfast is good, room service menu is concise but reasonably priced. Haven’t eaten in the restaurant yet. Plenty of parking available, included in the stay.

UPDATE: despite a horrible start the manager and team at the hotel have gone out of their way to put things right. Thank you.
Want a quality room? Want the room you booked? Use Premier Inn. We booked the presidential suite on the phone and arrived to find it had been double booked. The staff have been very nice to find us a room that is on the same corridor as the kitchen so has a distinct smell of their menus own madras curry, I like the smell of curry but would have booked a hotel above a restaurant if I wanted to smell like an indian restaurant. They also seem to have a heard of elephants above, sounds like a Zoo but im guessing a conference room of some sort. Oh and the beds, they are great, theres 2 pushed together, extra value for money. Tesco service for Harrods prices. Well done!

Clean, spacious rooms. Nice pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre. The food was good at the bar and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a fairly hefty charge for Wi-Fi if you're not a Marriott member.

Went to a speed awareness course, staff were friendly and directed me to the appropriate building, and the buildings and conference room were very clean and nicely presented.

Brilliant location, amazing staff although £15 for a breakfast is a little extreme for 2 sausages and some beans!

A cut above other local hotels. Food was superb and the TV in the room was massive. High quality fixtures and fittings throughout the room and bathroom. I'd recommend the ribs for dinner!

Lovely spacious rooms, with a decent breakfast. Ample secure parking off a major road, with no road noise. Highly recommended.

Felt welcome on entering hotel with my wife.
Room was clean and fresh and even little touches like on TV when turned on with a welcome message and my name made it personal and friendly.
Bed was comfy and bathroom immaculate.

Bit out of town, but service is great, clean rooms and a well equipped spa. Gym can get busy on weekday evenings.

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of days on a business trip and thought it was very good compared to other hotels I've stayed in both in and around Northampton. The room was modern and clean and the communal areas were similarly very nice. All of the staff were really friendly and the food in the Cast Iron grill was very good. The only minor complaint I have is that the breakfast coffee wasn't as good as I would have liked it to be. I'd definitely stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Room and staff are really nice, some small things missing that you would guess would be present, no fridge, ice machine was broke etc.

Lovely location with plenty of outside space. Clean and tidy with a huge double bed which was really comfy. Breakfast was good for £10 and was served til 11am which was handy after a big night before. Very friendly staff who sorted taxis for us.

Stayed here last night to go on to a family get together. Very clean room, nice big bed but the pillows were like wafers! Woke up and thought I'd broken my neck! Lol. My biggest bug bear was we had not eaten all day, arrived at 2.30, went to eat at 6.30 and both had a burger, well it was only around 4mm thick and was so DRY it was hard to actually swallow. A McDonnalds would have been better. Bacon was dry and the cheese had walked off somewhere between being placed on the burger and being delivered to the table, obviously disgusted at the size of the burger he had to sit upon. If we go back, I'm taking my own pillow and won't be having the burger!

Really nice looking place. Carpets are a bit old but that's being picky! Room is spacious and bathroom is really big! I usually go to the Hilton and one of the big reasons are the breakfast but I've got to say that the Marriott is not that far behind. Works definitely come again. And the staff are all friendly!

Attended a Speed Awareness course at the conference centre. The facilities were of good quality and the environment was conducive to learning and it appeared to be a good place for meetings. However I have no intention of imaginating or ideating any time soon, thank you!

We recently (June 2015) spent ten days at your hotel and wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and the housekeeping sertvice was excellent. Minor maintenance concerns were also taken care off within a few minutes. Everyone at your front desk was helpful, knowledgable, and well trained. We enjoyed interacting with each and every one of them, especially Adrieanne and Zoltan. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a nice variety. We will definitely come back when we return to Northampton. Thank you, Oana, for having such a great staff that made our stay so pleasant.

When you come out of a room there are cookies on the coffee table. This place needs a swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Interesting place with ice staff. Good for holding small conferences.
