Stayed here while on a trip to Liverpool found the house great the room was a great size the shower was hot and the bed was super comfy and the transport from Liverpool takes almost right to the door so thank so much we would definitely stay again.

Were do I begin? Omg — shared bathroom, shared kitchen. Help yourself hostel or home for the homeless would be a more accurate description. Pokey rooms, other guests heating their takeaway meals in the microwave of the "shared kitchen! " There could be an argument that for the price not to much should be expected but at £117 for a night these jokers are having a laugh. avoid!

Stayed two nights at Sefton Grange, rooms were a great size, bed was very comfortable, All staff were very accommodating, even saw us off at the end, what a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

I had stayed two weeks ago on Monday to Thursday with another guest. At first we arrived and the man at the door was lovely and our room was also bog standard for the price we paid. After going out for dinner monday night we found ourselves locked out of the Sefton Grange without the code which was never sent out to my phone number or without mention as we were checking in. We had called the "emergency" number given on the information sheet and the number rang through several times on three different phones. We had also called the number the site which to no avail either. Luckily enough we were able to book ourselves into The Mountford two doors up. Keeping in mind this was only at 11pm which is a reasonable time to still have communication set up and had we taken a later flight we may had been locked out the night. The staff were absolutely lovely and said we would be refunded however it has been sometime on and the management have been nothing but rude to me when requesting what is rightfully owed. The manager Martin is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and refuses to pay us back for the night we were locked out. I strongly advise everyone to NOT stay here. Forget their budget prices and book yourselves into a hostel.

Sefton Grange guest house is very pleasant for short or long-term period. Clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. 10 min by bus or taxi to downtown!

Superb guest house. Has everything and excellent team.

We stayed in the hotel as a family and we have been coming back since. Met with Martin who was very kind and nice to my family. The staff members were quite helpful and we have always enjoy our stay.

The stay cost me just over £100 for 5 nights, so it was amazing value versus a Travelodge or Premier Travel Inn. However, it was very difficult to find in the dark by car as the sign for the building isn't very visible from the road. There was free Wi-Fi and parking available. The double room I was in had a sink and toilet within the room. The room was clean with fresh linen, towels, and a kettle, but the over all finish if the room was a bit tatty and needed some TLC. The communal shower was electric and only either managed to produce a dribble of cold or scalding water, if you did want to waste 5 minutes in the morning you could get it to the perfect setting by tweaking the temperature dial millimeters. The road noise is an issue, mind you I am a sensitive sleeper. I was at the top of the house but I never managed to sleep a full 8 hours uninterrupted, usually a taxi or bus would wake me up in the early hours. The provided breakfast was basic but functional i. E. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, with jam or marmalade on bread/toast. Also, there was a communal fridge to put food and drinks in, but if you are not thinking of eating out everyday I'd recommend stocking up on microwave meals or something you can pour hot water on e. G. Instant noodles.

Very good for the price that we got. Rooms were clean and big. Even got coffee in the morning.

Cheap and cheerful good for an overnighter, hassle free great location, lark lane was a bonus and not too far from city centre.

Really comfortable bed, great room for the price. Liked the self check in service just coming and going as I pleased, was very efficient. The only negative to our stay was as we were in room 13 and there is a self catering kitchen right outside the door the noise of people chatting in the kitchen woke me up. Would recommend.
