Excellent golf course. All golf staff, and bar staff, very friendly and helpful.

A bit dated and very basic. Very clean though except for the mould above the window and the ripped nets. Room opposite us was full on fighting screaming and slamming the doors from 4 am until we left at 9. We was so tired we didn't even stay for breakfast. Ridiculous that even though it states hairdryer and ironing facilities in the room there's not because of covid. Even though it's just handed to you by the receptionist with no cover or anything on it. First time asked for it was asked if we needed it right now. If not come back when you do. To far from the main pubs and shops for my liking. Pity we didn't get to try the breakfast. How any staff didn't hear 5 hours of full on screaming shouting and door slamming is beyond me as the room is a couple of steps down from the reception.

Lovely room with a sea view close to all amenities spot on location lovely food bar welcome and friendly staff. Definitely stay here again.

Stayed over last night, was our 1st visit in all the yrs we've visited Skegness, how we have missed this gem of a hotel is beyond me, it's beautiful! Cosy, warm, spotless & great welcome on arrival. Extremely reasonably priced too, my hubby loves golf & it's better thn Southview he said 🙈😉 Needless to say we highly recommend & will def be visiting again. It's a fantastic place with great food, very welcoming and friendly staff. The bar is very well priced the golf course is excellent and the rooms are spot-on. I would recommend this to any golfers looking for a brilliantly priced break. 10 out of 10

Great welcome by receptionist. The room is lovely! Large bed, lovely bathroom, with a bath! (not just a shower), and the view is spectacular! Immaculately clean. Love it, highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly… the lady who worked behind the bar and was waitress in the morning deserves a medal… she worked incredibly hard and mostly on her own We had a sea view room but golfers starting early… very loud laughter, talking etc (6.30am) didn’t seem to care that people were still sleeping in the rooms above. But nice enough, would stay again Breakfast was good.
Location was excellent.

My society have been coming here for 23 yrs. This would’ve been our 24th but with the virus not sure what’s happening. The hotel although dated is always welcoming. Staff efficient and pleasant. One of the best carveries around. The course has always been well kept. Slightly difficult but worth playing. Would definitely recommend.

This has been refurbished since we last stayed here. Nice quiet hotel Friendly staff We needed a hotel where we could park our new motorcycle and it would be safe You dont have to play golf but the course is good Good food Nice rooms.

After having a really bad stay at another hotel in Skegness it was such a relief to be able to stay here for the second night, managed to get a room last minute. It was lovely and quiet, the staff were really nice and polite, room was clean and big and lots of storage. Fantastic breakfast and value for money. Took our 7 year old and she loved it this is our new favourite place to stay in Skegness! Highly reccomend.

Great value for money. Food is average but staff make the difference. 5th year of hosting our golf tournament weekend & we keep returning. Enough said?

The Golf Course is superb but the room was poor, small uncomfortable bed, the shower was no more than a trickle and the room was very stuffy. The breakfasts were adequate but nothing to write home about. Evening meals poor. On a plus side the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Tried to book a table in the restaurant to be told that it will be closed as there are no bed and breakfast people booked in and the only place to eat is the bar and bar food! Not good for an hotel!

Amazing staff, amazing food beautiful venue had my beautiful wedding day out in the garden absolutely stunning everyone made my day so special the staff were so lovely can't thank you all enough.

Had an awful experience here. Really disappointed and yet from the pictures it looks lovely. Room not up to scratch and im not a fussy person at all. Not worth the money I paid, had a bath that took 20 mins to fill due to poor water pressure and water was not hot. When we arrived was first put in the lodge which was away from the main building but smelt damp and wasn’t very welcoming the mould on the window frame and the supposed “room with a view” was of a bush and sand bunker pretty much. We did complain and was moved to “ another “ room which was not great either. The room had brown stains up the walls from where water had got in at some point. We were told the room we were exchanged with would be noisey because a wedding reception was taking place … wow the whole room was vibrating, my deodorant fell off the side. I mean I expected noise but seriously we may as well have been sleeping next fo the speakers… eventually that stopped around 12:30. Finally fell asleep and at 4pm got woken up by people having a full blown conversation outside our door so all in all it was a nightmare. Im exhausted and angry and have 100% wasted my money booking this room. There is more but I really dont want to type anymore. Drove 117 miles to stay here and if I could have drove home I would have it was such a bad experience. I would have had my money back as this was such a disappointment but was 3 hours away from home and could not find anymore accommodation.

Good friendly course, lovely views. Would definitely recommend it and play again next time I’m near Skegness.

If you like life in the 70s this is the place for you. Bar unreasonably hot won't do a tab for food and beer even for residents. Decent breakfast.

I live nearby so have not had need to stay at the hotel but those I know who have stayed speak well of it. I have eaten there and used the bar which sells a good selection of beers including the local "Banks" Bitter. Staff are both smart and friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside but outside tables are available. Some might say the General Decor is in need of updating, true, it is a building of its era but that should not stop you visiting. Nice views of the golf course and some rooms may have sea views. Part of the "Best Western" group this hotel is especially popular for Golfing w/e (and longer. ) Book early to ensure you get a room!

Lovely hotel between butlins and Skegness. Beach a 5 minute walk. Skegness about a mile away, can walk to skegg via beach path, Ingoldmells a lot further. Hotel was clean and rooms very nice, well stocked bar, buffet style breakfast, veggie options on request, lovely golf course attached though I didn't use it, seemed very popular. Reasonably priced.

Disables access a joke. We attended a wedding and asked to use the baby changing. It's down stairs. I said to my partner what if you were in a wheelchair as the baby changing was in the disabled toilet. There is a stair lift down the stairs but how would you get a wheel chair user down there independently. Also access to building was a nightmare. Other guests had to help us lift push chair up stairs. Only when exploring with my oldest daughter did we see a disabled access entry but didn't look like in use. If a venue is hiring out for functions disabled access is a must. I have a friend who is paraplegic and if I were to have an event here she would struggle. Also the food was brought out quick but children didn't get a starter. They had to sit and watch the adults. When asked if the children's meal could be brought out with the starters as kids were hungry the reply was chef wouldn't do that. To us parents we felt cruel and ended up sharing ours then the kids meals when they did come out with our mains were too hot so again kids waiting and now becoming agitated. Might be an idea to bring kids mains out with adults starters so they can cool down and eat with everyone and keep kids happy. Happy kids means happy adults so adults stay longer and spend money at the bar.

We often go to North Shore Hotel & Golf Club for Sunday Lunch can't fault it the best Sunday Lunch in Skegness the staff are are always polite the chef always has time for a chat I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Just had a nice weekend break at the North Shore and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is quite basic but the golf course is superb. A true Links course with hazards carefully placed to test both high and low handicappers. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal in the restaurant was the same. Skegness was not on my list of to do places but this has changed now as I would go back to play the golf course again.

The afternoon receptionist is a diamond. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is quite outdated with a damp problem. They have tried to rectify this with plug in air fresheners. Could look at why this is happening as it's a lovely old building. The room is clean and the towels are fluffy and fresh. The bed sheets are immaculate. The evening bar man is as miserable as sin! If you want a late morning ask for a room at the rear as the golfers get started early! Not bad value for money paid. Lovely part of skegness to stay in, 2 minutes from a beautiful beach. Worth a visit.

Great golf course in fantastic condition, we had a superb time and the sun was shining brightly for us — Bonus! ☀

It was pleasant. Victorian large club house. Friendly staff. But was dated. No porter. No greeting you. Meals ok. Single room over the kitchen and the staff started at 6am. It is a distance from the attractions. Not set up for disabled people …

A pot of tea in the bar for £1.40. Simply lovely. Xx.

Good communial areas (bar/restaurant) and food really nice. Rooms are the main let down as they are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable.

Good testing golf course. Always a warm & welcoming hotel and clubhouse. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place hubby used to work here many years ago we enjoyed Christmas dinner 2017 it was very nice.

In the Sumner you can sit out on the Balcony have a cool drink, bite to eat and watch the golfers (unless you want to play) ☺

Nice & friendly staff food very good served by 2 excellent people 1 from Poland & the other from Hungary. The hotel itself could do with a little refurbishment.

Staff were great! They brought us a high chair to the room to use, until we checked out at no extra cost, There was plenty of tea, coffees etc, our room was very clean spacious, and heating was perfect, location on the beach which was very nice, I can’t moan, we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely friendly place and nice food. Also good golf course which is well looked after. Just wish they had special barista training in the bar as their cappuccino coffees are rubbish! The flavour is good but they are not cappuccino.

Carvery review… Food was not hot, limited vegetables. No cauliflower, no cabbage, no broccoli, just Brussels sprouts, and parsnip and carrot and leak. Gravy tasted very odd,. The beef was stringy and tough. Very poor quality. Very disappointed, at £8.50 a person, we left nearly all of it. I never usually complain but this was bad.

I love coming here. The staff are always nice and polite and the food In the restaurant is excellent. I've had a few different rooms and they are good. A few touch ups here and there but all in all a nice place to stay.

Great place to stay. Nice rooms and reasonable prices for meals and drinks. Oh and you can find fossil shark teeth on the beach! How good is that!

Went to northshore for a golf weekend away. Had a very good time. The course is lovely and the food in the hotel is exeptional. The rooms are not the best, although for the price you cant complain. The only bad point is the amount of bar staff they have on at night. We was 1 of 2 sociaties at northshore that weekend and we had 32 guests in our party, there was only 1 person serving. So service was slow.

We had a wonderful time for our overnight stay the hotel was very clean and all the staff very friendly and welcoming would very much recommend this place!

Room was tidy and well equiped, breakfast was tasty and filling. A great weekend.

Situated at a quiet location at the northern end of Skegness, in its own grounds and overlooking views of its golf course, the hotel offers a nice restaurant area and conservatory for dining and drinks, the table which had been booked weeks in advance for our party was not ready, but staff soon rallied round and only a short wait to be seated. A good menu and a choice on the specials board, but on ordering some choices were in limited supply and we had to choose an alternative (not the first occasion that we have encountered that issue here). The service was reasonably quick considering that it was a large party of us although one order was forgotten and left a guest without food while the others started. Food was good quality and quantity, then on to desserts, reasonably varied selection and served quite quickly. Overall a good evening with family, possibly a bit pricey but it's difficult to find a room for a larger number of people on a Saturday.

Nice hotel comfortable beds good food and good facilities.

Bathroom discussing service also hopefully when Premier opens North Shore may smarten them self's up and offer better value for money.

Food is nice and the golf course is good. Hotel is looking a bit dated and the room was small for a twin. Towels not changed. Room not cleaned. Had to pay up front. For a few days away golfing you put up with it but I don't think I would take my wife. Typical story of cost savings affecting level of service. There are better hotels out there.

Lovely course, well maintained. Shame there's no driving range but nice putting green behind the 10th tee.

Lovely place but housekeeping needs to be improved. I removed 5 spiders from our room. The room service was good but the food was disappointing. Ordered prawn cocktail expecting the prawns to be fresh considering I could see the sea from my room but they were like rubber and clearly defrosted in water. The cleanliness was good but the place needs deep cleaning such as skirting boards especially in the bathroom. Staff were all very polite and helpful and the place has beautiful scenery!

Played 3 days now as with a society that here for 4 days… greens shocking… staying at the hotel and although staff great to the most part prices for drinks shocking and food standard dreadful… breakfast ok … but evening meal second nighth shocking. Bread rolls dry and stale. Starter dry and obviously microwaved… main choice basic and what would expect from a establishment that only interested in making most from giving less… north shore going down hill rapidly.

Played in January on a cold icy day. Only a couple of Winter mats. Excellent mixture of links and parkland. The links holes are really good with superb views. Some great short Par 4's. Pro shop and Hotel Staff very friendly. Great value for money.

What a great place to play golf and have a meal, we booked the Braid package which consisted of Coffee bacon rolls, a round of golf and steak and ale pie with peas and chips all for £25.00! What a bargain! We will definately be going again a great course a mixture of links and parkland, the staff were really friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10. Ken Nichols.

We used to stay here around 1988 / 1990 as part of a 3 day golfing holiday. Back then I remember it was a nice hotel and the food was good. We have now returned some 20 years on with a new Golfing Holiday as a two nights dinner bed and breakfast with three rounds of golf. The hotel is much improved and the food is excellent. The staff are very friendly a real credit to the place. The golf course is a mix between parkland and links and I do enjoy the contrast. We are now making this a regular event Oct and Apr for two nights, 3 rounds of golf, which sits in nicely with our yearly July visit to the Scottish Borders for five days golf. Its great to be back playing Skeggy.
