I been there for a night, the decorations was not so goid because is going under renovation, but I love to stay there, the manager was very lovely and helpful, I can't wait to be there after her renovation.

Hotel for 30 pound is good value for money free Wi-Fi free parking overnight if there is space and bar down stairs is popular and cheap rooms are quiet and clean what more from a 30 pound hotel I don’t know and the bad reviews on here I don’t understand what they expect for 30 quid the rooms are in the process of been refurbished also The area is in the middle of the two piers and is brilliant for getting to both pleasure beach and shopping areas and I hope it puts no one off the hotel my time there was brilliant thanks cornhill.

Stayed Friday 25th till Monday 28th, very friendly and lovely owner couldn’t do enough. Enjoyed it so much booked again for July. Thanks very much.

This hotel isn’t a 5 star hotel but the hospitality of the staff more then makes up for it. Me and my friend (both under 25 females) arrived and was a little worried about the hotal due to ongoing renevations. We parked the car and went inside and was meet with two friendly men who after realising that they had a free sea front room available for our weekend they moved our room to the sea front one. One man showed us to our room and left us to it. We did worry a little about the hygiene of the room but after a quick wash of the mugs and a check of the beds showed us that maybe we should give it a chance. We both left the room and went down to the reception area where we again meet our hosts. Both men where friendly and inviting and after a chat we found some common ground. We all stood and chatted for a while and we felt a lot more reassured after we left the hotal for a walk. We went though the weekend with no problems and even had a good laugh with the management. On the Saturday night we returned to the hotal after a really good day seeing the sights to find that my car had been leaking petal and didn’t realise until one of the men informed us. After having a look the men helped us pack sand under the car to prevent it egniting. They where more than understanding and even offered for us to stay longer if we needed to. After some investigation we found the problem and moved the car which solved the problem.

I won't comment on decor due to the fact I know its in the middle of a refurbishment. So taking wallpaper off the review I will say the owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a double and single which comprised of a four poster bed which was so comfortable. Some teas and coffees supplied. On our departure they where receiving new equipment for the games room. Our Room was a decent size and I will return further in the year it will be nice to see it when it's finished.

If 0 stars would of been an option that's what you would of got. The hotel… if you can even call it one of them is an absolute disgrace. Budget hotel or not. I wouldn't let me dog sleep there. I'll start from the beginning… So me my friend and our partners arrive at the cornhill hotel. The reception area looked mucky and straight away I knew we made a mistake. We saw the sign saying it's being refurbished ao have the reception the benefit of the doubt and thought it'll get better. HOW WRONG! We walk through the door, he tells us our room number and expects us the find our own way. Instantly you are met with the most awful smell. I can only describe as mould. It smelt "mucky". As I'm walking up the stairs. There are holes, like hugs holes on the walls and in the ceilings. There are draws in the hall ways that have got so much rubbish and dust on them. You feel dirty. We got to the room, now the sizes are actually alright. However, the rest aren't. The bedding stunk. The wall paper on the ceiling was hanging off. Draws with draws missing and no toilet roll. The window was open and the windows were disgusting. I opened one of the curtains to be met my damp and mould. I sat on the bed and thought about our next move as there was no way we were staying there. If you didn't lock your door, when one of your neighbours closed there's it would force yours open.

I was very disappointed, there is still CLOSED until further notice! That's how take paid for booking already here. Now, this… Is waste of money were goes in the hotel was is CLOSEDit is!

On arival hotel under extensive work … reciption lovley greeted by a lovley chap I think it was alan the owner. Room was ample cheap rates to stay will stay here again.

The hosts are great, the entertainment is great, food is great, good bar, and all done at a reasonable price.

My husband and I enjoyed our break at the Cornhill Hotel in Blackpool. We found the owners very welcoming and helpful — the food was good especially the breakfasts. The position of the hotel between the South and Central Piers was excellent with very convenient public transport links. The cost of the room and drinks in the bar were very reasonable. We wish Joanie all the very best on "The Voice" and hope she does well.

We stayed at the Cornhill hotel for one night last weekend saturday night 31st may 2014 we loved our stay and they made us so welcome. They also really entertained us all through the evening. They were so good with our kids too. Really made us feel at home. Very friendly and great value for money. Great breakfast too. Rooms very clean and tidy. Also comfy beds. The bar was great prices too. Definitely stay there again. Very family friendly hotel. Thanks to joanie and rodger and all at the cornhill hotel. See you again soon. Keep up with the singing. There was so many hotels to choose from when we visited Blackpool on the last May Bank Holiday weekend, such that, we were so happy to have stumbled upon such a warm, friendly and charming hotel. Yes we did have a short stay, though Roger and Joanie and several other staff at breakfast and the in the evening bar, made it such a nice weekend that we look forward to visiting again. We never have time to fill these sort of things out, though this time we felt we did needed to give praise where praise was and is most certainly due. Well done to all at the Cornhill Hotel, thank you again. If you want to visit Blackpool, its sights and attractions, then this is just the place to stay and make it worth the visit. Regards J and B.

Just like to tell everyone that me and my wife had a very nice time at the weekend at the Cornhill Hotel, The food was good and the room was clean and tidy. I found the staff helpfull and friendly at all times as was the owners Joanie and Rodger, if I go back I would stay there again as this was my second time staying there. Give it a try if you are going to blackpool and find it hard to pick a hotel.
