What a lovely clean hotel. Reception are friendly and helpful.
Rooms clean and well preceded nice firm bed lots of pillows.
Breakfast what amazing lots to choose from.

Second visit here last week whilst visiting Harry Potter studio again.
Lovely clean room with the most comfortable mattresses, duvets and pillows.
Friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the dining room.
Evening meal had plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. The breakfast was amazing, everything you could think of from full English, cereals, pastries, porridge, fruit and smoothies.
Good location, a short walk into the main shopping area with all the usual high street shops.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Very nice hotel and nice bar meals and nice rooms and little bit gluten free food and a good deal with car Park around the corner and not far from harry potter studios.

Spent the weekend I must say I was rather impressed by Jurys Inn, however, I would say it needs some slight improvements. The rooms are definitely spacious. I was slightly put off of some of the food that was available was tasteless and some of my items weren't too a satisfactory standard in terms of slightly undercooked, though that could be just down to my personal preference. With me only staying for around two days I can tell the staff do what they can to make the customer happy and they do go out of their way to do this. So I'll probably stay again at a later date as I believe it does have some decent links to travel services, so I would highly recommend the Jurys inn if you're looking for a quick evening stay before continuing your travels; or even if you're looking to stay in the area as part of a city break.

My only gripe was breakfast… very good choice of all required but l ordered poached eggs which came swimming in water. L pointed to out to waitress to be told thats the way we serve them… just put them on a napkin first and then on plate… it is endemic in all hotels. And they employ breakfast chefs… please take note… it is the little things that count.

I’ve had 3 nights here London close to commute and good train times good location and the best parking and most comfortable rooms nothing to say bad about this hotel and 18 for 3 nights parking where do you get this.

Nice and quiet (except for the road works which isn't the hotels fault). Great breakfast, friendly staff. Parking is not on site, but a very short walk, get the hotel to stamp your ticket, only cost £4 for our parking for our 1 night stay. Clean, fresh and lemon water to help yourself to is a nice touch.

Everything was perfect in this hotel bar 1 thing. The parking. It's not far from hotel but it was raining and had no umbrella to keep myself dry walking back to hotel. Would recommend staying here for sure!

It was in a brilliant location, central to everything. Very well presented and the rooms were great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A few negatives though — the seats in the bar and restaurant looked great but we're so uncomfortable, the food is really overpriced for what you get with the breakfast being tasteless and it's not great when the carpark doesn't have a carpark and you have to carry heavy bags from where you can park for payment.
So it just needs some extra touches put in and then it would be a 5

Good hotel in a good area. There is secure parking nearby that isn’t too pricey. On arrival, reception was busy but the staff were friendly and helpful enough. Rooms are clean and tidy with a good TV (sky) on the wall. Beds are brilliant! First rate mattress and pillows! Normal tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water in the room. The bathroom was clean and tidy with soaps on the wall and in mini bottles. Breakfast was good with a large selection of food. The coffee was great too. Checkout was 12:00… loved this! An enjoyable stay and would recommend.

It was very pleasant. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Rooms spotless and tastefully decorated, staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast as this came at a cost of £10 when pre-booked or £12.50 On the day… There was a cheaper alternative within a 2 minutes walk. Also, no on sight parking bit car park within 5 minute walk.

Availability was low so I got upgraded to an executive suite. The room was great, breakfast was lovely. Fruit was good. Service was excellent!

So it's a very nice hotel but the walls are badly isolated if theirs someone in the room text to you. Also it's near a very nice alley to the right when you exit the lobby. In that alley their is a desert island, very nice restaurants with vegaterien and vegan options. The hotel is nice and you don't hear any street noise, the beds are nice and the blankets are warm. In my room I got confused with the number of light switches. I hope that this review is helpful.

It's probably the best hotel in Watford. Central located, good food, not a 5 star hotel. It needs some works to remodel but great compared with others.

No car park which is a pain. Hot rooms. Nice staff, great breakfast. Everybody was friendly and worked hard. Clean and quiet.

Great location for visiting harry potter studios. So convient for train station. Rooms lovely size and very clean. Food was good breakfast excellent.

It is a very nice and quite centrally located hotel with nice staff and nice rooms.

Recently modernised, so quite smart. Great selection of food for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. I found dinner service in the restaurant painfully slow. There's plenty of good restaurants dotted about Watford though.

Good hotel in the downtown area of Watford. Good internet connection, good desk. Breakfast was very good.

Stayed at Jurys Inn Watford for two nights whilst visiting the Harry Potter studio tour. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was clean and well furnished, and the bathroom was a similar standard. Continental and cooked breakfast buffets in the morning (extras) were very good quality. Although it has no parking there is a multistorey near by which with a discount from the hotel is only £4 per day. We did have an alarm go off in the middle of the first night but it was very brief and most likely caused by some late night guests. For the price and location this is a great hotel.

A nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are well maintained by the cleaning staff. Good bar and lounge area, food and drink. I couldn't find the car parking, but not a problem as Watford Junction railway station is a 15 minute walk.

The only reasons I haven’t given 5 stars is firstly because we didn’t get any sleep because our room was uncomfortably warm, stuffy and airless. The ac wouldn’t work but as we’d been out on a New Year’s Party and didn’t get back until after 2am we were too tired to go down to reception and ask them to look at it. The couple we went with also had the same problem with their room and all four of us had a sleepless night. The parking is also confusing. On the website it says a discount will be received on the nearest public car park, but although we were told where this was, no mention was made about the discount. Apart from that the hotel was great. Room and bathroom spotless, lovely large bed and breakfast was great. Also very well placed for Watford Colosseum, bars and shops.

We had a great stay here. No complaints at all. To top it off someone very thoughtfully posted us my daughter's favourite teddy that she had forgotten. It was wrapped as a present with some sweets. My daughter literally cried with happiness. Thank you so much to all the staff at Jury's Watford. Happy New Year!

Great if you're going to see the Making of Harry Potter, it's also very close to the train station where you can catch the train that leaves you in London in about 20 minutes and downtown Watford, where there is a shopping mall and lots of places to eat or have coffee.

Had a great stay at Jury's this time. Breakfast was great. Room was spotless and so comfortable. Staff did well to put up with us all on the works do.

Stayed here for the HP Studio Tour. Staff are friendly, room was clean, two minute walk away from Watford Town Centre and the INTU Shopping Centre. Breakfast was tasty :) Edit — we came for our Anniversary (Thanks for reminding me with free cheesecake! ) We were also. Upgraded and had a lovely time! Thanks Again Jury's Inn.

Superb hotel — Hyper-comfortable rooms — rich breakfast — quality meals — classy and friendly staff — at Chpisir if visit Warner Studios car bus Harry Potter to the nearby train station.

I stayed there for one night. The roof is really nice and cosy. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. Wall mounted USB and plug sockets. Break fast is really enjoyable starts from 6:30 am. Another thing I had to cancel my booking for change in meeting. Although my room was non refundable they changed my date without any extra fee.

Stayed here last weekend for my birthday and we had a lovely time. Perfect location to Harry Potter studios and a 5 min walk to the train station where you can get the train into London which takes 20min. Arrived to find lovely banners in the room and on my actual birthday we came back to find a lovely cheese cake with a birthday message on the plate. Staff were lovely, breakfast was gorgeous, the room service food let us down but the manager was very quick to fix this. Would definitely recommend.

Nice clean rooms. Enough pillows. Warm. Quiet. Staff pleasant. Discovered the milk pots in the room were 'off' and soon replaced — even at 1130pm. Didn't have anything — some of this decision was the price, so we are breakfast out. Nice decor. Would use again.

Only stayed a night and just used the hotel room (so can't comment on other facilities). All staff we came into contact with were helpful and friendly. Room/bathroom was very spacious and clean, my partner and me had a great night sleep, bed comfy and blackout curtains were great. Small issue was the TV wasn't placed very well, might have just been our room, but it wasn't central to the bed (we're both super lazy and like watching TV in bed). Also, doesn't have their own parking on site and we had a bit of a nightmare trying to find the recommended parking site due to all the deadends/one ways! Got there eventually though, we're obviously not very good at navigating. Would definitely stay here again though :)

This hotel is in central Watford, a ten minute walk from the main train station, Watford Junction. There's no parking on site however they do offer discounts with a car park just around the corner. The bar and the food served within are both high quality and the rooms themselves are nicely decorated and include a comfortable, if not small, bed.

Good hotel. Location was perfect for us as we used it to travel to Harry Potter world. Only downside is the hotel doesn't have its own car park. However there is one right around the corner which is £4 to park overnight.

Perfect place to stay when you don't spend too much time at the hotel. Nice, welcoming place and very comfy beds in the heart of watford.

Very good location, right arround the corner from a few good shops and local market very quick access to motorway and great service from second walking in the hotel.

Attended the jurys inn in watford for a personal licence course in one of their meeting rooms. The room was kept well and all the staff were very friendly.

I arrived very early and they held my luggage while I was able to explore the area. The staff were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and convenient ways to travel. The rooms were spacious and usual for London hotels. The food was delicious and the place was kept very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Room very noisy, typical English breakfast. Everything as far as clean and staff friendly.

Cheap and the breakfast helped me fend off a hangover that could slay a banshee. Wasn't expecting the hilton so wasn't bothered about the room size or anything. Served it's purpose well.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff in general. Wasn't a fan of the magnetic key card to the lift situation. It didn't always work and I got stranded a few times. Otherwise, a lovely hotel.

On the 19th Dec 2015 myself n my work colleagues had our Xmas do here the food was appalling it looked like it had been cooked hours ago n then warmed up in a microwave I had the hake frm tge Xmas menu n how unappetising did it look aeroplane food looks better the sprouts were rock hard it was utterly disgusting n on top of it the staff were quite rude not one smile I think this hotel needs to be re assessed in its rating.

Had such a lovely stay here. The bed was so comfortable, rooms really clean and spacious, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! I had no problems at all during my stay. I even lost my key card, and they replaced it instantly for me without charging me for it. All the staff were very polite — all saying hello and good morning to everyone. I was very happy with my stay here and would recommend.

Nice hotel in a convenient location (walking distance from Watford Junction). Bar is good, and menu has plenty of options. The breakfasts are ok, but nothing to write home about. Only down sides were that there was no gym (that I noticed) and the car park is quite far away — otherwise a good hotel.

Card problem to get into the room.
I came with a group of 52 people, we agreed with the hotel for the evening meal by email. And at the time of the meal there was a problem that caused the group not to have its drinks at the same time as its meal.
The manager wanted to revisit the confirmation email that she no longer had in her inbox…
