Great hotel with very welcoming staff.

Lovely little hotel so clean and staff so lovely and helpful will definitely staying again thank you.

The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. BUT when my husband booked this hotel in July 2018 we were booking safe in the knowledge could eat at the in hotel restaurant. When we arrived in september 2018 we were told they no longer have a restaurant! It simply doesn't exist! We were left with two hungry, grumpy children. Luckily justeat delivered some chips to keep all happy, but this hotel NEEDS to UPDATE their website! It does NOT have a restaurant.

Rooms where clean and tidy. Bathroom fittings a little dated but still clean. Lobby area is nice and bright with a bar for drinks. Receptionists was a little intrusive asking us all sorts of questions almost like she was trying to gauge us on if we would be a problem when we come back later on the evening as we where a group guys in are late 20's. Called her out on it to which she tried to play it off as if she was genuinely interested. Not impressed.

I was here with my partner and daughter on the 14 th and 15th of August 2018 we found the room we stayed in was clean and Comfortable it smelt lovely, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome breakfast was nice, I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and would stay here again thank you for a loverly stay xx.

Recently stayed here as it was conveniently located close to Harry Potter Tour Studios. Regretted it quite quickly. Rooms were very dated and quite tatty. Wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom. The carpet in my room and my friends room was stained throughout as was my bed sheet. No air con made the room unbearable to sleep in. Also had to pay an extra £50 deposit on top of the room price in case of damages to the room which I found ridiculous. No parking so had to park overnight on the multi-storey. Only positive was that the reception staff were friendly and happy to help. Unfortunately would not stay here ever again.

Nice looking hotel in the communal areas. No air conditioning in the room, so unbearably hot, we got very little sleep. It was unfortunate as all the communal areas seemed to have brilliant air con. The most important thing for me from a hotel stay is to get a good night's sleep. Sadly, I wouldn't go back again.

Stayed for one night on 26/05/18. Hotel was fantastic! Beautifully clean and rooms large! Staff were amazing nothing too much trouble, taxis ect. Breakfast very good! Had a great stay!

Friendly customer service Professional Clean rooms Whole hotel is immaculate. Clearly newly renovated Lovely modern bar and restaurant Food is excellent. Brilliant cooked breakfast in the morning. And just had a 3 course meal that was well above standard and was what I would expect to eat in a relatively high grade restaurant. Very nice! Rooms are clean and modern. Free Wi-Fi is excellent aswell. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.

Dear best western management Tom Ramage who works at this branch is fantastic, he is the best ambassador for you. Such a nice bloke chatty, helpful, knowledgeable. I have stayed in A LOT of hotels but this guy has got to be the best person I have ever met!

Staff extremely helpful, rooms clean but walls very thin, so lots of noise from the corridor and slamming doors. Bar is nice and open lounge area quite pleasant. The cooked breakfast was completely flavourless. Clearly no money spent on quality of preparation or produce, and the coffee, delivered in a canister was the worst I have ever had. One could buy a cappuccino/espresso at the bar. It would be in our interests as customers if BEST WESTERN purchased a proper commercial coffee machine that ground coffee beans, or is it perhaps not in their interests since that might prevent us buying one at the bar?

Renovated Room a short time ago very spacious with the exception of the large bathroom which would have deserved a little bit of new. The sound is very good for a short stay. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, making it the perfect place to rest before a visit to the Harry Potter Park (whose shuttle leaves from the train station).

Not bad hotel. Staff are nice, fairly friendly and helpful. Room was a single, located in the “roof” — loft type room. Fairly nice, pleasantly surprised. Good bed, adequate bathroom. Clean and fairly smart. — possibly recently renovated. Bathroom could do with an update, but worked fine for one night. The window in the roof really needs replacing. And was located next to the lift. So could hear that going up and down until late. Overall, fairly nice hotel, was only there for about 8 hours. But would recommend for a quick stop over. As usual with hotels such as this, massively overpriced breakfast. The usual continental for £10 Was not offered an upgraded room despite being Diamond Best Western Card holder. — lost a star here. Positive is, if I had the cheapest room in the place, then this has a lot of potential. Outside and area are not amazing, but once inside, it’s quite nice.

Highly recommended. Reformed, clean, nice. Very friendly staff. Ideal to go to the Warner Harry Potter Studios in the afternoon and make night there. Watford's train to London is only 20 minutes.

Nicely refurbished rooms and friendly staff. This hotel was ideal for my 1 night stopover on business. Breakfast was good and regularly replenished. Would definately recommend.

Best Western White House Hotel is just 15 minutes walking away to the next big station Watford Junction. You can get to London in about 15-25 minutes (~ 6 £). The service we got offered was really good and courteously. The reception is 24 hours available. Our room and bathroom was clean. We would recommend it.

Perfect location. Short walk to the shopping centre and a 15 minute drive to the Harry Potter Tour. The hotel itself is very clean and has modern decoration. The room was very big and spacious. It had a large bed and good sized television. The bathroom was really clean and modern with a great shower. The food was amazing. Staff are very friendly and always ask how you are and things like that. Would recommend to anyone.

The Hotel was clean and the staff were excellent. The Food in the Restaurant was very good, but the Breakfast was just adequate. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the lighting in the room is not welcoming with bulbs in the ceiling and no individual bedside or table lamps. Could not fault the staff in any way, but the rooms need some modernisation. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was lovely and staff were incredibly friendly. Rooms were very nice. Bathrooms quite dated but not a deal breaker. Beds comfy. A great place to stay if you are visiting nearby attractions.

Fantastic stay. Booked a one night stay in January 2018 and we would defiantly return. The hotel lobby was lovely. Beautiful fixtures and fittings, modern décor and furniture. Our room was also fantastic, a bigger bed would of been lovely on the double but it was clean and comfy. The view wasn’t much to look at, but we didn’t come for that. The bathroom was a bit dated but clean. Breakfast was spot on and the service from staff is fantastic. After checking out the duty manager did inform us that the bathrooms and the front of the hotel will be refurbished in the near future. Great centre located and a few steps away from the local town. We booked this hotel for the Harry Potter Studio Tour only 15 mins away. Only negative — Parking was a nightmare but overall a fantastic stay! Thank you.

I was staying a few days at this hotel, I was in the area for work.
The Place looks clean, welcome and with good staff to welcome the clientele. The Room was large enough to accommodate two people, the bathroom clean. The breakfast, not included, is exquisitely English with the addition of a good American-style coffee. For Lunch and dinner, the kitchen can satisfy both a quick meal and a slightly less frugal meal.
Ultimately, despite being a little further from the center and the railroad of other competitors, it remains a good foothold for the area.

Would definitely stay again. Very comfortable room and lovely reception bar area. Breakfast was fantastic and only £7 each. Could not believe only 3 stars.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and clean with an ensuite. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great knowing reception was 24hr, as we got back very late.

Lovely hotel. It's my second time staying. Lovely service and breakfast was delicious! Will recommend to anyone. Free Wi-Fi and parking, a shame the parking is small but overall the rooms and everything is lovely and decent!

Staff were very accommodating when the car park was full, found me a spot on the street which was much appreciated! Floor was a bit creaky walking to my room, especially in the lift, just the charm of an older building I guess. My room was pretty standard, very clean and definitely one of the best smelling hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was lovely, service was superb, had a real nice vibe.

Perfect location for the town centre, close to many restaurants and bars. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the staff are very friendly.

Welldone! How a hotel should be! Great service at the reception. Room was lovely, bathroom could do with a return but I can see that they are already in the process of that. Fantastic service from Pam in the Breakfast area and food was spot on!

Lovely staff, very helpful. Comfortable bed with all the basics that you need. Free Wi-Fi was a welcome addition with the free parking. Tasty breakfast with accommodating staff for any additional requirements. Very good for the price paid. Excellent spacious bathroom!

Hotel undergoing much needed refurbishment /modernization. Looks good so far. Unfortunately had a room overlooking the outside smoking area, which became quite noisy late on with smoking drinkers enjoying the warm weather. This was a little inconvenient!

Right next to the town, clean and tidy and a good size. Room, parking was OK, staff very very nice, small collection of beers, overall great, and would use again.

Very poor. For £110 I expect something better than this. I'm just stuck up in the roof on the hottest day of the year and I can hardly open the windows. So it's boiling. Plus it's a really busy road anyway. The best you can say about the hotel is that it is tired – I needed to get one of the staff, who were very helpful, up to make the shower work and even he apologised saying that hotel is being refurbished – that's their problem, not mine. The staff are fine in the lobby – they have air-conditioning.

Looks old fashioned on the outside but the inside is very modern. Staff very helpful and rooms comfortable if a little bit warm. Fans provided though. Very good location also with a 2 min walk to restaurants bars and nightclubs. Would stay again.

Is this Best Western the best Best Western in the West? I'm not sure, but it's pretty good.

Far far away from London City. The major overground stations are around a 15 Minute Walk. Good if you wanna go to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour. The rooms are quite simple but spacy. Also the bathroom with seems to be from the last decade but all clean and in good condition.

Room was very dated — avocado bath suite! But clean and comfortable. Restaurant is good fairly basic grub, but actually very tasty and very reasonably priced. Lovely waitress. Corridors are very creaky, thankfully my room was quiet, but I imagine others may be less so.

Terrible hotel please avoid. I checked in at 1:30am turned on the heating and I placed my belongings into the room then went to 24hr tesco came back around 2am ish the room was still cold and the heating was not working, went for a shower at 3am the water was nearly just warm half way through the shower the water got really cold. Now dealing with room changes got to 4:47am and needed to get up at 6am for work pointless upgrading me to a bigger room. Seriously not happy.

I booked the hotel last moment and would recommend this hotel as the staff were so helpful could not do enough for us best hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

Never been, but would like to know what rooms are like. There is 13 pictures of the hotel, but none of the rooms. Therefore il not even bother with this one.

Wi-Fi is intermittent. Sometimes fast, then very slow for 5 minutes. Low-flow shower head. Good breakfast is £9 extra for the low rates. No outlet near the bed.

Thank you for a very pleasant stay at your hotel. It may not be the most modern hotel but it is clean and the service is faultless! We had some unusual requests due to our faith and everything was accommodated with a smile.
