Nice hotel. Easy to get to; pretty much a 2 minute walk from Watford Junction station. Room was fully air conditioned which was bliss. Nice stay.

Nice hotel. Trying to think of a negative and nothing comes to mind. Staff were great, room was great, breakfast was great. I'd definitely stay again.

A pleasant, well located place steps from Watford junction and a short walk to the high street parade. First few days were an adjustment… coming from The Grove but the location made it better to get into the city for meetings. Been her 2 weeks already. Amenities weak. Gym too small. Lack of variety on food. No real business centre. Would stay again. NOTE: They have an odd rule… they will not make you bed if there is even a single personal article on it (in my case a t shirt). I spend 100+ nights a year in hotels and this was a first. A high contrast to The Grove that finished unpacking for me (see I rushed out and hadn't finished) and daily folded my t shirt and put it on the pillow and an "turn down" at night set it on the foldover and set slippers at the entry point of the bed (even though I never used them once in the week I was there). Their breakfast buffet is a helpful start to the day although special orders are challenging… you must be really specific. Eggs over easy seems to be a technical challenge.

A surprisingly comfortable and well managed property in the Holiday Inn chain. Also, very proximate to the Mall and transit station. We paid about $100 per night. Quite pleased.

They seemed to give me the slightly worse room because I paid less through a deal. The curtain couldn't shut so was light at 6:30am, the USB ports didn't charge my phone and the extractor fan in the bathroom seemed to be useless. But the bed was comfy and staff were nice so was otherwise a comfortable trip.

Although a good locality, nearest to junction and station, but comes with highly priced average spaced rooms! There was no refrigerator and basic amenities like drinking water, which should have been included with the exorbitant tariff! (my friend from overseas was gutted) If you are travelling to London, AirBnB would be much economical, bespoke, with more space and amenities! Strong No to HI.

My son and I had an amazing stay here. The rooms was nice and immaculately clean. ALL staff were so friendly and helpful, especially to my son. Can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Lovely! Extremely clean! Lovely staff! 2minute walk from the train station where you can get a bus to Harry Potter studios which takes 10minutes. Amazing breakfast and dinner! Great room service! Great showers! Great location! Will 100% stay again!

Clean, welcoming and comfortable surroundings to meet for a coffee. Very convenient for the station. Will definitely use them again.

A modern stylish hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size, clean and fresh. Hotel parking is £5 per 24hrs, and room for approximately 90 cars. Watford Junction railway station is a 5 minute walk. Restaurant on site with various pasta, pizza, fish and chips, lasagne, salads etc… Bar sells all the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Lounge area is very comfortable, TV in one area, 1980's game machine, table football and a quiet area. Defo recommend.

We had an overnight stay in Watford Holiday Inn. Booked a queen room. The staff were friendly, good clean rooms and great food. However, the main issue and an important issue at that was the mattress was not comfortable at all resulting in a very poor sleep. Taking into consideration the main reason for staying in a hotel is to sleep, this factor is poor.

Good hotel in good location for the Harry Potter tour (which what we were doing). Good breakfast but the bar not much to write home about. Nice room though.

Nice, modern hotel. Great welcome. Comfortable room — typical HI. A bit cold though. Heating may not have been working. Certainly the portable oil heater in the room was not up to the job.

Had a bit of a wait (~10 minutes) at the reception desk for someone to come along and check me in, which was a bit annoying. However, everything else was nice, room was very clean and breakfast was pretty decent. Very standard big-chain hotel feel with the decor and room layout/size, very happy overall with my experience.

I stayed two nights. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating for the time and so polite. The room was clean with heating on when I arrived. Easy to control heat and air con. Bathroom was spacious and it was a good shower. Would stay again when I need to.

Very impresses. Lovely modern Holiday Inn. Decoration and facilities are great, breakfast also very good. Staff very helpful and friendly, keep up the good work!

Not a bad place, but a cold enough experience eating a meal here on your own, staff could be more welcoming.

What to say … reception — great (helped with everything, every information get here), breakfast — beat start for day, a lot of meals for choose, drinks. Restaurant very stylish, wonderfull place to stay there. Starbucks coffe inside. Room — the best. Sleeping like a child, bathroom big, very clean. Room service — without any problem.

Hotel café/launge is extremely cosy and stylish. Starbucks coffee and nice place to rest or to work.

Nice hotel for business, clean, modern, comfortable, and rates seem very reasonable. I'm partway through a 5 night stay, and am quite happy there. Some rooms feature Nespresso machines, which is a nice touch. Watford Junction isn't necessarily a tourist destination in itself, but it's pretty handy for WB Leavesden/Harry Potter.

Most of their staff is friendly, and they've got a really neat lounge area where you can enjoy delicious Starbucks coffee. The outdoor terrace is also very good place to relax in during the summer.

Friendly staff, excellent food, good room. Bed was a little dated, but everything else was great. Major tube station across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

The meeting room in the ground floor doesn t have windows which is a bit of a shame. Other than that the lobby is very nice and modern. The food is very decent.

It was my first visit and celebration at the holiday inn hotel, I must say that the staff were so humble and helpful and thanks to the entire team of George the manager at the holiday inn hotel. You guys made our day a memorable one.

Location is a very short walk from the station (less than 3 minutes). Rooms have a modern feel and are equipped with the usuals (hair dryer, tea/coffee supplies and facilities, shower wash and caps etc). Choice of hard and soft pillows, but the bed was very soft for my liking (but I do have a very hard mattress at home so no reflection on them). I could hear the plumbing when the room directly above us had a shower, but apart from that the rooms are very quiet.

Impressive kit out. Its very comfortable. Perhaps a broader beer selection?

Nice, clean, modern rooms. Dinner and breakfast were excellent as well. Perfect for visitors on the Harry Potter Tour, with shuttle bus just down the road.

Great location. Decent modern hotel with tidy rooms that have everything you need for a couple of nights. The food is pretty decent and not over-priced. The only issue I've had is the heating/ventilation in the rooms I've stayed in. But always my top choice when travelling to Watford.

Very attentive in the reception of the hotel. We forgot to print the tickets for the Tour the Making of Harry Potter studios Warner and them we printed. The room is clean and comfortable, although the extra bed is clearly room for improvement. Breakfast rather expensive for what is offered. Fortunately, the children under twelve years of age had breakfast for free. Very good location next to the train station Watford Junction. You plant in London in an instant.

Great coffee shop style lobby with electric and usb outlet everywhere. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent service. Let me check in 730am at no extra charge.

I was hit on by one of the 'owners' face of this franchise hotel called Vivek Chadha, apparently he does this a lot the receptionist was saying. He gave me a free drink and offered I see his office, & told me we could go into London together… I was on a hen party and found this inappropriate, especially after telling him I had a boyfriend. This hotel shouldn't be run so unprofessionally…

Great hotel in walking distance from the Watford junction. Rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. They even have a 90s style arcade game inside a table which you can play with your friends. Breakfast is average.

Excellent hotel. Ideally situated for the train from Watford Junction to Wembley Central. Excellent food and hospitality. X.

It was a really nice spot to sit and do some work while I waited for a Friend, seating was super comfy and the decor was pretty cool.

Stayed here after visiting the Harry Potter studio tour, arrived 8pm, very nice modern clean room, ate at restaurant at 9pm and food was good, nice comfortable bath and sleep and then a very nice cooked buffet breakfast and light continental with decent brand produce. Could not recommend this hotel enough, excellent value for money. Staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Nice new Holiday Inn only been open about a year. Nice devour, open lobby works well as a living room/restaurant/meeting space. Station just round the corner. 11 main from Harry Potter Studio Tour by car. Offers both Continental & Full English Breakfast Buffer options.

Clean and modern hotel with a open bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Has a small gym as well if you want to sneak in a workout. Rooms are small but very functional and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately on our visit the gas in the restaurant was not working so we could not try the food. Would happily stay here again.

Room was fantastic, the staff especially on the front desk couldn't of been of more help. Had a lovely quiet nights sleep followed by an early rise greeted with a tasty hot breakfast.

Great location for those visiting Making of Harry Potter. 5 minutes walk from the station. Beware though the restaurant can become a little rowdy due to office workers frequenting the bar.

I am an unhappy customer. I have had to cancel my reservation for tonight as my wife has been rushed into hospital. As I have pre-paid, I have no refund. As you are a profit oriented group there is no scope for consideration. This is disgusting, I will not be using your group or hotels and I will not recommend to anyone else. Very shabby and uncaring attitude and policy. And I have no doubt you will re-book the room and make multiple profits at the expense of my wife's critical illness One star as this site does not allow no stars.
