We got married in August and Offley Place was the perfect venue for our summer wedding, everyone commented on the amazing food and how beautiful the venue looked. Louise, Jack and the team were brilliant from start to finish and couldn’t have done more to help us. Thank you so much for such a brilliant day!

We got married here in August & had the best day ever. Jack was amazing from start to finish with planning our wedding and making sure it ran smoothly. All of the staff who work tirelessly there are so welcoming & friendly. Our guests haven’t stopped praising the venue & how lovely the food is.

Where do we start with thanking the amazing staff for making our wedding day the best day we could imagine. It went smoothly from start to finish and a special shout out to Jack who is quite frankly a total legend.

Lovely afternoon tea for my mother in law birthday plenty of food and drinks staff were fantastic and attentive, but special praise to Dominic who went over and beyond for us all. Lovely, cheerful, happy chap full of compliments and so so attentive, nothing was to much for him. We will definitely be coming back. Truly five stars all the way.

We got married here a couple of weeks ago and the whole experience was amazing. The staff were brilliant and everything ran smoothly. The setting is beautiful and rooms are gorgeous. Everybody commented on the lovely food, too. Thank you especially to Louise and Jack on the wedding team who were there along the way! Thank you Offley for a lovely wedding.

Such an amazing place, we were warmly welcomed for an overnight stay. Room was huge, as was the bed which was incredibly comfortable. A historical country house in its own beautiful grounds, which ticked every box, and then some more. Dinner was first class and beautifully presented, breakfast again perfect. So glad we found you… we will be back and cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

We had our wedding in the Conservatory and the venue and staff were perfect. Jack was amazing through the whole planning stage and the day ran like clockwork with excellent staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Offley Place for a wedding or function.

Had afternoon tea service was very good place is lovely sandwiches and cakes where yummy thank you.

Friday 24th August 2018, was my daughter's wedding. We used Offley Place for our celebrations following the service at St Mary's Hitchin. The venue was everything they had promised and more in terms of the service we received during our stay from start to finish. Well Done Offley Place keep up the good work. You made our day very special.

The Rose View Suite was the perfect place for our Wedding Blessing. The Rose Gardens, private bar, and function room provided ample space inside for our guests. Event Manager Jack was on top of everything the entire way. Organising a wedding from abroad was made so easy by Jack’s organisational skills and eye for detail. Jack didn’t miss a thing! I couldn’t have don’t it without him. Food was delicious, bar was full, our pianist sounded great on their piano and the added bonus of a projector screen was the icing on the cake! Thanks so much! … If only I had another wedding to organise with you Jack!

Got married here. Staff super helpful and friendly. Rooms superb. Food excellent. Bar good, if a little overpriced. A great place for a quiet romantic break, or for a family party. Afternoon tea is particularly excellent.

Had the most wonderful afternoon watching the Royal Wedding here today. The staff were amazing and what a fabulous party it was! So much to do for the children, all the wonderful competions and games you did and all of it for free! Very nice place. I was there for a friend's wedding and thought the food and accommodation was very good. Drinks were quite expensive but all in all I had a good experience.

Beautiful setting & building. Room very spacious & clean. Staff were so helpful & accommodated our every need. Could not fault the choice, quality of food or service. Faultless even though we had a party of 16 everything ran like clockwork & again couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend staying & eating at Offley Place.

We really enjoyed our Mother’s Day luncheon at this lovely venue last Sunday. The set menu food was excellent with lots of options to chose from. In particular, the starter of buttered pencil asparagus was delicious and the main course of pan roasted spring lamb was tasty, succulent and beautifully presented. Plentiful wine choices just enhanced the beautiful food. Service was friendly and good and the lovely setting and ambience helped to make our celebration special. Coffee was served in the lounge in front of a rip roaring fire which was nice way to end the day.

Had a fab time for my 40th birthday celebrations. The afternoon tea, cakes & sandwiches were lovely & the staff were fab to. We would highly recommend. Thanku very much.

Lovely venue. Went there for my brother's wedding. Staff were friendly, the food was delicious and I would highly recommend it for wedding functions etc.

Beware they don't do refunds or change booking dates as I found out when I was unable to attend a christmas dinner that was booked I tried to get a part refund but was refused so I said I would donate my 2 places to a charity for unfortunate people there reply was that it would be unexceptable which I replyed that was discriminating against these unfortunate people.

Great lunch. As usual the staff is very friendly. Tasty turkey and winter soup for the festive season.

I've been expending a really good lunch time with my job colleges. The locations is beautiful. The restarant food quality is really good and the service very correct. Also it has good parking areas.

Beautiful country house turned hotel in 2002. Very lovely rooms, nice and spacious. Very kind and friendly staff. Breakfast a bit disappointing but loved our stay.

We viewed this as a possible wedding venue. It's an absolutely beautiful building with fantastic decor and character and we are torn between this and an 18th century barn. We viewed a couple of rooms too and these are stunning. It definitely has the wow factor. If we don't have the wedding here we'll definitely be coming back as an overnight guest.

Nice hotel if you like the a traditional old style British hotel. It’s not great for business travellers. Creaking floors no lifts or business facilities I would suggest it’s more suited to the romantic weekend away type of stay. Food is very good indeed, I can’t recommend eating in the restaurant enough.

Thank you we had a lovely birthday meal and now very excited for when my son gets married there. Food, venue and staff all brilliant.

Sadly another example of so near and yet so far. Offley place calls itself "a luxury hotel" No air con in the rooms meant for a stifling night. The decorations need refreshing and just a few small lacks of attention to detail such as tables not set right for breakfast, the bar having no still bottled water (the night before a wedding and when asked if there would be water available the next day the answer was they didn't know), no shower caps when a rain type shower was fitted. Little things but personally they add up to missing that, paid for, luxury tag.

A great Venue to hold your wedding reception. The food & service are very good. The grounds are Fantastic.

One of the best hotels I have ever found in this area, just wanted to have a nice and quiet time before my next flight and book it, it is very relaxing and comfortable, the team is amazing, the rooms are very good by size, the bed is very comfortable, the rooms are very clean, the garden is very relaxing and the near town hitchin offer great restaurants and theater. Just was in between flights from Luton and found a place to come back with my wife. Recommended.

A lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. We were based in the function rooms and bar on the ground floor which all opened out into the garden. The food supplied for our function was lovely.

Lovely manor house hotel. Set in very pretty location. I had a lovely and spacious room. Big bed, very comfy. Really nice big bath with over head shower in a large and warm bathroom. Very good selection in food from an a la carte and bar menus. Room service available. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Was very check in and check out. Even offered to help with bags.

Attended for a wedding, food was good and stafg professional and friendly.

The whole place felt really posh, in a old kind of way. It was clean, tidy and offered everything you would expect from a premium hotel. Soaps, free Wi-Fi etc. The grounds and the surroundings were really picturesque like an village should be like. The restaurant was a little on the expensive side, but there are 2 more pubs closed by and Luton is only 10 minutes away. Really enjoyed the beds and waking up in such a gorgeous place.

Our friends married there and we had a great time. Beautiful place, good facilities, nice room, good food and great personnel.

Ate here once, food was Ok but restaurant was very cold.
