Perfect Location. Perfect Service.

Great service from the minute we arrived. Reception staff ; courteous and knowledgeable. Simon was personality plus. The rooms were super clean as was the well equipped bathrooms, great showers bed were super comfy. Will use again as I am now converted from premier inns.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Still waiting after almost three weeks for a call from a manager regarding a payment taken from my bank for over £500! After asking to speak with the manager on multiple occasions I am still awaiting any kind of correspondence, appalling.

Lovely staff. Adequate accomodation. Convenient location (depending on where you are going). Nice budget accomodation with a free breakfast. However, still wondering what a “bap” is.

Great place super clean. Staff very helpful was for a big hen do and they let us stay gave us places to store bags before and after check out. Good price right in the middle of Manchester too. Breakfast was included and was brilliant was just buffet style but everything was there full fry up, Continental style, fruit, cereal, muesli, yogurt really good.

Honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here! Massively over prices! The room wasn’t remotely clean! And then the customer service after was horrendous! And not even an apology!

Great rooms with great views across the city towards the moors. Very reasonable prices and lovely staff. I haven't tried the breakfast yet as it's my first night but we get 20% off in the bar because we have used Holiday Inn Express in the past. Great central location in the Northern Quarter both Piccadilly and Victoria stations are close by.

Great location for arena and Northern quarter. Clean rooms, great breakfast. Bar open late is a bonus when you return from the arena. Efficient & friendly staff especially Shannon and the doorman who went the extra mile. Would recommend & stay here again.

Attentive staff, room standard was very good. Bar prices for a hotel were not too bad. Only negative was the queue at breakfast, rotating toaster was inefficient and the wait for items to be replenished on the self service breakfast was too slow. Other than that an enjoyable stay.

Room was clean and well presented. Bed a little soft for me but pillows comfortable and plenty of them. A very reliable standard of room to help you sleep well while away for business. Free breakfast is a bonus as well and of decent quality.

Good size rooms bed could be a bit firmer basic breakfast (typical of hi express) good location. It's better than the holiday inn on Liverpool Street in Salford.

Great location and very helpful staff. We were placed into a twin room by mistake. This was rectified immediately and we were given another room straight away. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

Great hotel and in a good location but as it's tucked just behind the crowne plaza it's really quiet.

Doesn't even deserve one star tbh. The customer service was horrendous! I arrived at the hotel and there was no car park for starters… What's the point of it being a holiday inn express when it has no car park. Secondly when I arrived at the hotel I was nearly over charged. I had booked 3 rooms exactly the same at a price of £82 however when I arrived at the hotel I was told that I booked 2 rooms at £82 and one room at £126. My battery was on 1% as we had traveled from quite far and I was struggling to find the email. No one at the hotel would believe me that I had booked 3 rooms at £82 so after struggling to find the email for 15 minutes I finally found it and they couldn't argue as the email clearly stated I had booked the rooms at £82. Well that was that problem sorted. After settling into our rooms we went out for abit and arrived back at the hotel at 12.30am when arriving back at the hotel we found that we were locked out of one room. I went down to the desk as they wouldn't pick the phone up when I called from my room that I was able to access, wen I got downstairs the receptionist told me it was my fault because I kept the keys near my phone… Well a) no I didn't and b) I didn't know it would disable the card if I had maybe when people check in the should advise them to keep their phone and cards in separate pockets. So he gave me 2 new keys… When we got to the room they wasn't working either. Its now 1 in the morning and we are locked out of our rooms.

Stayed here on a Sunday evening (the rates were very reasonable) and would definitely go back. If you have stayed at a HI Express before then you know what you are getting, and this one is very similar, the rooms were a good size and very clean, the staff were welcoming and very friendly too. The thing that makes this one particularly good is its location, ideal if going to the Arena or just having drinks in Manchester/the northern Quarter. I couldn't get the free Wi-Fi to work though, not that I was there long enough for it to really bother me.

Not stayed there only hired their meeting room and can honestly say it's good value, high quality and there is unlimited pretty good coffee and free Wi-Fi on tap. The meeting room itself is stylish and bright and well equipped. What more can you want for a business meeting?

Quite decent hotel. Perenočavat′, wash, the Internet is free, but very slow. True for breakfast constantly scrambled eggs, three days are tired. In general I am satisfied.
