Staff and managers are brilliant. Rooms are clean and tidied daily. Nothing is too much for this little hotel defo a hidden gem. Bonus mc Donald's across the road for a maccys breakfast. Winner.

Needs a bit of a freshen up but staff are so accommodating and helpful.

Cheap little place to stay for a night. Wife said it smelled a bit funny in room, like cigs. I didn't really notice. We were lucky the neighbours were quite quiet, but if not you'd get woken up as walls are thin. Just had doors banging. Probably not much fun to stay here on weekend or football night, unless you're up all night anyway. I stayed in the week and thought it was relatively pleasant for the money.

Lovely and clean just wish we had a map to the stadium.

The area around the hotel was very dodgy. There was one guy when we got there who was looking at cars and being shifty. We were a bit hesitant of parking our car there but we didn't have much of a choice. Thankfully it was only a 1 night stay. Once inside the hotel it is very clean but it feels like a hostel really. The hotel had some loud people staying opposite but it was quiet at night and had a good sleep in a comfortable bed so cannot fault that. But the surrounding area and the car parking outside leaves a lot to be desired. The gentleman on the desk was nice and accommodating. Overall I think you get what you pay for!

Friendly and helpful staff but the room wasn't as great… very cold, broken heater and shower was not getting hot. The location is great and value is good.

Very basic hotel with no bar or restaurant. But staff were friendly and room was clean and comfy. You get what you expect for the money.

Very, very nice staff and service, clean, USB charger. Warm room with autonomous heater. "European" tap. Parking avaliable and McDonald's restaurant nearby. Close to the train station. Not expensive compared to other hotels in Manchester.

Great little hotel for your budget stay. No complaints!

Simple, sufficient, with a few problems. Located a few minute’s walk from Salford Crescent Station, and across from McDonald’s. Staff were very friendly, and the hotel looks like it has recently undergone some light construction. Overall, room was nice despite the small size. Heat works, Wi-Fi was quite good (room 206), but there was an unmistakable odor of cigarette smoke in the room — primarily the bathroom. Shower was hot and clean, the toilet seat appears to be of the wrong size, but still served it intended purpose. Walls are quite thin, so you’ll likely hear a lot of noise until everyone is down for the night. If bare-bones is what you are looking for, I’d recommend this place. If you need a little more room and a quiet space, you might do better looking elsewhere.

Great room, very large, clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for the university and a short drive away from the city centre as well as accessible by public transport with many transport links (both bus and rail). Also has free Wi-Fi which was great! Small issue with being asked for photographic ID when I checked in and being told that it was for health and safety reasons, which made me a little uncomfortable as it isn't a H&S requirement to have photo ID so I didn't provide it. All in all, great place to stay and I'll definitely stay again.

Lovely comfort room, lovely place, but unfortunately shower slide door come off, water pipe leak under sink cause to wet floor, should have repair before we come…

Pretty much what I expected from the cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed while on a stag and done the job fine. Bed was pretty small, shower was fine. Next to a train station and a McDonald's and a shirt taxi ride into town so conveniently placed.

Easy to rech by bus lines 100 and 67 and prety comfy.

A quiet place… nice to be found in the room 2 small bottles of water, the kettle for the tea. The only thing a bit ' boring is that the hairdryer must every time ask for it and bring it back and I must add that the place is not as in the photos is totally different but all in all a nice spot…

Nice quite hotel could do with a bit more lighting in the rooms.

Stayed here Wednesday 12th until Friday 14th July our room was very clean and staff very courteous, the outside was a bit tired but it's an old building but totally modernised inside. We were more than happy with and are hoping to stay again in the future.

Situated within easy walking distance of Salford University. A small amount of parking but managed to get a space. En-suite room with an upstairs bed, shower was a little difficult to get a consistent heat from the shower. Fan in the room because of the weather which meant that I got a good nights sleep. Despite being by the side of the road, very little road side noise. Free Wi-Fi.

Pretty decent. Would stay again if price is right. Only a few niggles easy to sort out… Blind doesn't cover full window… Lightswitch for bathroom broken. USB ports on sockets a nice touch shame they didn't work… Morning staff member barely knew English… Bed comfy though so the main thing. Nice size TV and generous portion of tea coffee and milk.

Les habitacions valien especialment la pena, però no el lloc… Estava relativament allunyat del centre de la ciutat. Això sí: l'atenció va ser molt bona I el preu acceptable.

Interior of hotel was far more inviting than the exterior. In truth it was actually a good night's sleep but the location dominated or opinion ask the time we were there. Reception staff were fantastic.

Overall the stay was fine for the price. Reception were friendly on check in. Rooms were clean although we had wet floors in a couple of them and we couldn't work out where this was coming from. Tea, coffee and water all supplied in the rooms and comfy beds.

First the big drawback — the building's acoustic was horrible, I've never seen worse. I could hear literally everything. I could hear other guests cough, shower, talk, watch TV. I could hear the receptionist, although my room wasn't close to the reception. I wouldn't have made it without ear plugs. Other things were good: the place was nice and clean, the room was warm, the staff was very polite, there was no problem with booking.

Very convenient and close to University of Salford. Close to McDonalds as well.

Stayed here before when it was new, and decided to return after a long time and the improvements were immense! the check in is warm and cosy and the staff although new, was still as helpful! well worth the money you spend!

At first appearance we wondered just what hell we had booked in to as from outside the place looked rough and had signs up saying work in progress. Inside things where different as it appeared clean and tidy. Checking in was quick and easy, the key card for the room also doubled as our after hours hotel admission so nice and straight forward. The room we had was one of the newly refurbished ones, obvious by the fresh paint and some badly finished work but nothing that wasn't tolerable, I have paid more for worse. The view was of the room 4 foot away but it was an internal room so at least there was a window and chance of fresh air. All in all it served it's purpose as a place to crash after a busy day at a trade fair and was a last minute booking. I would come again if our usual choice of hotels where full booked again as happened this time after all it was at least clean and tidy.

DO NOT STAY HERE! After a long day of travelling we reached the hotel at 8/9. And there was no answer. After half an hour finally someone appeared and let us in. We checked in, then were shown to our room. Finally we could relax. Just as we started unpacking there was a knock at the door "sorry we've given you the wrong room please come with" Fair enough we packed up our stuff and followed out of the room. Then he decided oh no the other room isn't ready. So we were allowed to go back to the first room. Annoying but yay we were in a room, my partner jumped into the shower then. Knock knock "sorry but this room is already has someone checked into it. We have other hotels you'll have to leave" By this time I had had enough, all we wanted was to relax and this wasn't going to happen here. We demanded a refund, at first he said no but after explaining that we werent staying there and authorities will be called. He said a refund would be given but as it was Friday night it may be until Tues. It is now Thursday and we've emailed only to be told we won't be getting a refund and a whole bunch of lies. I'm not going to waste anymore time with these people trying for a refund, they've chosen their karma. My only advice is DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is unclean and the management dishonest!

Terrible, was asked to moved rooms 3 times as there was confusion with admin, then asked to move to a sister hotel. Nothing worse after a long flight when all you want is a shower and rest. We didn't end up staying in the hotel at all. They will not give us a refund.

Its a decent hotel, the lobby looks really nice and the Wi-Fi was decent. Theres a church next to the place which is a pokestop, alot of the rooms are in range of it so you can farm it from your room.

Difficult to find, hotel wasn't finished. But glad we didn't pay the full amount as we weren't very impressed but did get a good night sleep.
