Booked this for literally somewhere to sleep near to an event we were attending last night. The friendly welcome we received from Daniela whilst she is juggling her 4 month old baby was great. On check in we managed to change our room at ease due to us not realising on booking we had booked a twin and preferred a double. The room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee facilities. This morning we woke to a lovely breakfast all cooked by Daniela again whilst her 4 month old baby was so good chilling in the bar/dining area. Her husband was also helpful making sure everything was fresh, stocked up and tidy. Would stay again if needed in the area and would recommend this B & B. Very reasonably priced and just generally enjoyed our stay. Thank you Daniela.

We arrived at your hotel following my father's hospitalization at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks, the rooms are very clean, the family rooms in the yard are pleasant and spacious and the service is excellent! Hadn't been there for a while excellent menu had the beef and ale pie which was excellent will be going back again service also good.

Getting worse and worse unfortunately. used to be a great pub but over the last 18 months it has gone down hill. never enough staff on the bar. food takes for ever and never have everything on the menu. no steaks at all on my last visit. I wonder if they are trying to destroy the pub to reduce its value to sell of and develop into flats or another Tesco.

Friendly, food is good and well priced. Interior is spacious and seldom busy. Would recommend. Watch out for nasty carpark charging!

Great pub for a drink, needs another TV though. Food was brilliant.

Very busy when arrived, football on and satur day night. Good service. Nice friendly staff. Few food items out of stock but as I said was very busy Saturday. Fish pie was delicious. Will visit again.

Horrific place. Dreadful. I ordered my chicken breast which took 55 minutes for only 3 people. I bit into my chicken and it was cold. My two children had the same problem. I ordered the disserts hoping that they would be a better result than the food. I asked for the raspberry sundaes to come without the raspberry sauce but they said that the raspberry sauce was mixed. I ordered 2 sundaes and 30 mins later I only recieved one and whenni asked what was the problem with the other sundae they said I only ordered one which shocked me because I clearly ordered 2. I was charged another £4 to receive another sundae so in total I spent £12 and that should of ment I bought 3 sundaes which I didn't. When I recieved it, it was without any raspberry sauce which confused me because they said to me that it was MIXED. It also came to my notice that it was a smaller cup they gave the sundae in. The staff were on their phones most of the times too taking no notice of the people they had to serve. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone and will never be coming back everyagain. I will also be warning all my friends about this place. Don't bother writing u will improve or that ur really sorry for this experience when your really not.

Place practically empty at end of sunny weekend and still told food would be 30mins for 2 Sunday lunches. Wife's pint of Tom Taylor landlord returned as pipes dirty and pint tasted of vinegar. No other ales available. Food okay in the end. Have to pay to park!

Nice pub, large beer garden, toilets clean. Unforrunately very slow service but the food was of a good standard.

Friendly staff. Food quality is great and its a bargain with the set menu option. Definitely returning again.

Waited 30 minutes for just one portion of calamari. Then waited a further 15 minutes for main and asked where it was. Was advised it would be 5 minutes. 10 minutes later asked again and said would be another 5. Total of an hour waiting. We were not warned about long waiting time. Left with refund and empty bellies. Calamari was very nice (even though it was served with sour cream and chive dip? Wheres the tartar? )

Lovely pub. With beautiful beer garden. The colour of the building is awful. However food and interior Dec is is amazing. Had a lovely open fireplace and a cash machine inside. Lots of seating and a kids menu is available too.

Wait forever for the food, often substitutes or just don't have what you've ordered on the menu. Staff not that friendly, hassle when asked for the heating to be turned on mid winter. Often wait a long time to be served our meals.

Staff were not happy. Food was ok I. E pub standard. Good range of beer.

Cosy atmosphere but when I visited with a freind found the staff unfriendly. Food was ok though.

Went for our work Christmas meal here. Never again. Arrived at 1.30 but come 4.30 still hadn't had our pudding and all but 5 of us had left by then. The Christmas dinner was ok but not nice enough to warrant the wait. However friends that ordered the steak said it was very good.

Great night out good food nice staff.

Terrible service, waited for 40 minutes for food, when it arrived one meal was missing. No apology, asked for a sandwich as long as it could be done quickly, 30 minutes later still no sandwich.

Decent local pub with a family friendly atmosphere. Food can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it's fine and other times you can wait over an hour for burger and chips. On the whole a good pub.

Defo a children friendly pub. Love it in there with my 20 month baby boy. The staff are fantastic with my son. High fives all the way. I've met some great families in there. Oh must not forget to mention the grub. Great tasting steaks cooked to my preference.

The worst place to get something to eat, tried to order two ribeye steaks and they only had one, sorted it out and ordered and payed for the food. Employee came over and informed us that now the chef has ran out of sirloin, absolute joke, service for drinks is ridiculously slow and staff was impolite. Would never recommend to any one.

Staff very friendly. Has a good range of drinks, and food is very nice.

Seems to be a nice little pub! We went here to grab something to eat, but sadly they closed the kitchen in between, because something went wrong there. What I didn't like was that you had to get your beer at the bar yourself. And I had to wait for a really long time.

Rooms are acceptable, breakfast in the morning is good. Walking distance to town centre.

Worst Hotel that I've stayed in Romford, and yes, I HAVE stayed at the Travelodge!

Perfectly reasonable hotel for the money On suite small, but well finished.

Overpriced, dirty noisy, unpleasant feeling and not overly pleasant staff. To be avoided it at all possible.
